Lattice House est l'ultime villa tropicale. Situé dans une réserve privée de 60 acres, à 3 minutes au-dessus de la magnifique Playa Hermosa, entouré de jungle, vous profiterez de vues spectaculaires sur l'océan depuis chaque chambre, les ponts et la piscine à débordement.

Profitez de son architecture moderne unique à Bali et de ses finitions et meubles sur mesure, tous importés de Bali. Lattice House a été construit et a été entretenu avec amour comme ma maison, et vous vous sentirez comme si c'était votre propre paradis privé pour votre séjour.

Vous aurez un gestionnaire / concierge sur place et un chef sur place pour prendre en charge votre transport terrestre, vos activités, vos repas pris en charge et vos réservations de restaurant, afin que vous puissiez passer tout votre temps à vous détendre et à profiter de votre séjour.

Lattice House est idĂ©alement situĂ© Ă  mi-chemin entre Dominical et Uvita, juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de l'autoroute cĂŽtiĂšre. Vous n'aurez pas Ă  passer vos prĂ©cieuses vacances Ă  parcourir des routes de montagne pour profiter de vues et d'une intimitĂ© incroyables. La rĂ©serve comprend de grands espaces de type parc, des vergers et de la jungle, avec des sentiers menant Ă  de nombreux ruisseaux et cascades. Dans toutes les directions, vous ne voyez que le littoral des eaux vives, les montagnes ou la forĂȘt tropicale. Chaque jour, vous pouvez voir et entendre des singes hurleurs et Ă  face blanche, des manteaux, des tayras, des agouties, des paresseux, des toucans, des aracaries, des colibris, des perroquets et des dizaines d'autres espĂšces d'oiseaux, tous depuis les ponts de la maison.

La chambre principale avec lit king, une chambre avec lit queen et deux salles de bain complĂštes sont au niveau principal; deux chambres (une reine, deux lits jumeaux ou un roi) et une salle de bain complĂšte sont au niveau infĂ©rieur. Il y a deux canapĂ©s dans le salon qui peuvent ĂȘtre utilisĂ©s comme lits supplĂ©mentaires.

I can't say enough good things about Lattice house. It made for a relaxing and memorable stay. I don't need to describe it - you can see for yourself how beautiful it is. I'll just talk about things that are less obvious.For starters, the accuracy of the pictures and descriptions is excellent. In fact, everything is even better in person. That often isn't the case in rental situations. Also, the kitchen is probably the best stocked I've ever seen in terms of the availability and quality of cookware, utensils, leftover storage bins, pans, etc. It was so easy to cook meals.I slept in the main bedroom and the bed was so comfortable. I slept great every night.Communication with the owner, Patricia, and the concierge, Ana, were phenomenal and easy. They were great resources and very helpful at every stage.Everything is so thoughtfully done, from the extra binoculars to the beach equipment in the garage, to plenty of flashlights, to umbrellas. It was one of our best vacations.

The most beautiful property!

You will never stay anywhere more beautiful! It is your own paradise. The house is perfect. Ana, the concierge, is so welcoming and helpful. She helped us plan everything we did and answered our many questions. Being able to rely on Ana's help, not having to research every detail was a true vacation!

Perfection!

This property was even better than expected! Our family of seven, ranging in age from 11 - 78 years old, used this as our home base to explore the area, from Manuel Antonio down to Uvita. We fished, walked the whale tail, hiked Nauyaca Falls, and explored beaches, and the Lattice House location was perfect! We also spent alot of time at the property, between exploring the orchard, watching wildlife that visited each day, and relaxing in the pool and hot tub area, with beautiful ocean views. The house is extremely well-stocked and the property manager, Ana, is quick to respond to any questions and provide recommendations for the area. I would 10/10 return to Lattice House!

Perfect family Costa Rica getaway

Pictures can’t do it justice

The property is amazing and gives big White Lotus vibes! All the listing photos do not do it justice. The indoor/outdoor design of the house made being out enjoying the pool and view the highlight of our days. The staff/helpers made many great suggestions without being pushy. We used the Chef service for three dinners because Chef Koko was great to work with and made really lovely dishes for us. Ana, again was great to work with and knows her stuff. She was very helpful with logistics like transportation, provisions and tours. I need her for my own home

Great location, incredible views

The house was in very clean and everything was in working condition, the jacuzzi was in perfect working condition and got hot very quick, which was a huge bonus. The beds were comfortable, sheets were soft. Toucans and monkeys visited us daily

Relaxing in Paradise

Our stay at the Lattice House exceeded our expectations! It is a beautiful property in a great location. The hike to the waterfall was a highlight. The property manager, Ana, was very helpful and took care of all our needs. The meals cooked by the private chef were delicious. A Once in a Lifetime Trip

As soon as we turned off the road and passed through the property gate I knew this was a special place. Winding through manicured grounds, orchards, and tropical plants, one gets the impression that something exceptional is about to happen. The house, though well appointed and fully functional, is just a backdrop to the fabulous property on a 65-acre private nature preserve. While the more adventuresome young folks hiked to the waterfall nothing was lost on those who just wanted to sit by the pool, enjoy the scenery, and watch the native birds, animals, and reptiles who had free range of the property. We took several wildlife tours but other than sloths and crocodiles didn’t see much that we weren’t able to experience at the house (and without the crowds)!The house manager, Ana, was fabulous and she and her staff were very responsive to minor issues. She recommended activities and made the arrangements, had a rental car delivered, and was constantly in touch. We had Chef Koko prepare several meals and he and they were great (get the passionfruit pie!).The property is located 10-15 minutes from two small towns, Dominical and Uvita. There are great restaurants close by, and the kids enjoyed taking surfing lessons. This is a once in a lifetime kind of experience-DO IT!

Paradise!!!

Lattice House is heaven on earth! The setting and view are breathtaking. It’s the ultimate destination you can imagine. All the activities we did were outstanding and we’re nearby. A beautiful property from the second you turn in the driveway! The view is breathtaking and the house itself is very comfortable, clean, & beautifully decorated! Heaven on earth

We stayed for 5 nights with three couples aged 33 to 79. The understated elegance and way of bringing outdoors indoors was truly breathtaking. The ease of getting to either Dominical or Uvita was so easy, the hard part was deciding where to enjoy a meal out with so many choices. We did utilize the private chef on our first night and would highly recommend. So nice to arrive and not have to figure out where to grab dinner or have to get groceries and cook. We had a rental car delivered, thanks to Ana, and the process was seamless. While we were there we participated in a mangrove boat tour, the atv tour, and zip lining. All were amazing and everyone throughly enjoyed. When we weren't out exploring we enjoyed just sitting by the pool and taking in the scenery. The bird watching from the master bedroom deck was superb! Would 100% stay again. Thanks for an amazing family vacation.

Paraiso!

We were 3 couples - all retired- who spent a week in this amazingly gorgeous house on a preserve of many acres with trails, orchards, flora and fauna. The pool was maintained twice weekly and a real plus. Ana was an attentive and informative help both before and during our stay. We had Alexandra and Juan cook us 2 delicious meals at the house. This is a very special place. I know we will return....

Celebrating family at Lattice House

From the moment we saw Lattice House on VRBO we fell in love. Little did we know that the actual experience would surpass everyone’s expectations. We travelled with our children and grand daughter to our favorite place on earth: Costa Rica. Lattice House is a spectacular property; easy to find off Rte 34, convenient to everything but special in a way that leaves you with unforgettable memories. Amazing way to enjoy Costa Rica!

Our group of 9 friends enjoyed absolutely everything about our friends’ getaway here. The house is as beautiful as all of the pictures, and there was nothing missing to make the stay any better. The house was sparkling clean, the bedrooms spacious and comfortable, it was quiet except for the sounds of the animals, and Ana could not be any more helpful or responsive. Having her help makes it easy to enjoy the best of the area. The food prepared by the chef upon our request was always fresh and delicious, and the ease of having a few dinners served at the house was most welcome. We have zero complaints and all hope to return for a future trip.

Best Vacation Ever

My wife and I’ve been to a lot of places, and have rented many vrbo properties. This was by far the best one. You simply will not believe this place. Between the massive grounds to the amazing house, you cannot help but be impressed. You hear all of the sounds of the rainforest at all times because you are basically in one. Unobstructed view of the ocean and Whale’s Tail. Completely safe with 2 guards on property. Ana is great to work with while there, and will help with anything you may need. Great house for a group, but also perfect if you just want seclusion. Look no further!

Peaceful, multi-generational stay

Our group of grandparents, siblings, spouses and kids had a wonderful time at Lattice House. It had the perfect multi-generational space to have alone time and together time. The master bedroom was like a treehouse, it felt right in nature. It was perfect for one of the members of the family, who is low vision, to enjoy being in nature and hearing animals from the safety of the house, without worry of tripping on a trail. We did so many activities and Ana helped every step of the way. We would highly recommend the horseback ride to the waterfall--unique and beautiful! The boat ride was also a fun adventure! Anytime we had a question or concern, Ana responded quickly. We enjoyed adding on the private chef services for two nights and it was so worth the money. Next time we would have the chef come a couple of times spread out over the trip so we could enjoy the leftovers throughout the week--Delicious! We are already dreaming of returning to this special place on earth. When you feel like dragging yourself out of beautiful Lattice House, we recommend Dominical for a cool town vibe and kind folks. We hope to return soon--Pura Vida!

My late husband and I purchased the property in 2000, and finished our retirement home in 2007. We loved the whole 3 year process of working with the Costa Rican and Balinese architects and designers and overseeing the building of our dream home. We originally planned to live there full-time, but that was before 15 grandchildren came along, and we decided to split time between Costa Rica and Houston/Galveston. Unfortunately, he did not live long after Lattice House was completed, and I decided to spend more time at my home in Galveston, near family and friends, and to share my home in Costa Rica with others who will love it as much as I do. I still get to spend about 3 months a year there--mostly in the summer when I can escape the Texas heat! I have wonderful friends there and treasure every minute I am there. We have wonderful times---hiking, swimming, boogie boarding, bird watching, and sharing wonder meals at home and in local restaurants. The picture is from a dinner at Lattice House on my trip last summer--me in the middle rear, surrounded by some of my closest Costa Rican friends who are fortunate to be full-timers, and Michael McCoy, second from the right front, from Bali, who was the primary designer and who continues to send new furnishings. Since that picture, he has had made for me beautiful new coconut dining chairs. Lattice House and Reserva de Achiote are my love, and all the rental income goes to its upkeep and improvement.

My husband and I wanted to retire to the tropics and in the early 90's started looking in Costa Rica. We loved the idea that it was so democratic and had no army. The first place we visited in 1993 was Dominical, but at that time there was no paved road from Jaco, and we decided it was just too remote for our later years. We looked all over CR, and by the time we decided no place was as beautiful as the southern Pacific coast, the road had been paved to Quepos and there were a few crucial amenities. We spent 3 years looking at property and finally in 2000 found Achiote, the most beautiful, accessible, and private property in the area. I retired in 2005, and the next day we were on a plane to our paradise.
