Big Oak Cabin - dans les Ozarks au sud de Jasper!

Big Oak Cabin est une maison confortable sur deux niveaux entièrement meublée, située dans la région la plus élevée des monts Ozark, à une altitude de 1100 mètres. C'est une maison beaucoup plus grande qu'il n'y paraît de l'avant! Big Oak Cabin est idéalement situé le long de la route 7, du côté ouest de la route. Notre cabine paisible comprend un grand pont avant propice à la détente ainsi qu’un pont arrière surélevé et tout aussi grand faisant face à l’ouest, donnant sur un étang et d'où vous pourrez admirer de magnifiques couchers de soleil! Big Oak Cabin se trouve à seulement quelques kilomètres de la rivière Buffalo et de nombreux sentiers de randonnée exceptionnels menant à des cascades et des sites pittoresques.

Une des meilleures caractéristiques de notre séjour chez nous est que nous, les propriétaires, sommes très bien informés sur la région et avons servi de guides à de nombreux sentiers. Nous connaissons très bien la région et sommes heureux de vous donner toutes les informations détaillées dont vous avez besoin pour trouver toutes sortes de sentiers ou d'attractions.

Le Big Oak Cabin se trouve à seulement 1 km du majestueux restaurant Cliff House et à 5 km au sud de la ville pittoresque de Jasper. Et notre propriété se compose de cinq hectares de terrain très varié que vous êtes libre de parcourir et de profiter tout en restant dans notre cabine.

This is a nice rural property with lots of space inside and outside. We enjoyed all the nature sounds outside. The one drawback to the location was the traffic noise- it is located right by the highway.

Nice hiking trails close by. The house was about five miles out of town so not too far if you need food or gas. The house is very well stocked with everything you need. We would like to visit this area again because there’s so much to see and would love to stay in this house again.

The house is very spacious and clean. It had everything you needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. Satellite tv, books and games. There is a nice fire pit in the back for roasting marshmallows.

You guys were very nice to work with and we appreciated all of the amenities provided. The house was in a great location and was nice sized. There were a few things that were not to our liking though. The yard was a little tall, almost to our knees in some places and anytime we walked outside we would get covered in ticks had the yard been shorter it would not have been as bad. Also both of the doors in the sunroom were broken, the swinging door did not stay latched and the sliding door did not want to stay in the track. The air conditioning was fine for the downstairs living room but the air flow was not sufficient for the size of house. Also there was a used bandaid on the dresser in the master bedroom when we arrived. We just felt the house could use some updates.

Hi Timothy, We're so glad you liked the house size and amenities. Sorry about the grass, our mowing man was scheduled to mow on the day you moved out, but I guess the spring weather is making it grow faster than I expected. Thanks for notifying me about the sunroom doors, that's a new problem which didn't exist last time I was there. Did you also use the upstairs air conditioner? It's more powerful and can nearly cool the whole house, up and downstairs. Thanks again for your stay and I will get the swinging door and sliding door fixed. Dennis

The Ozarks are abundant in trails that are easily hiked by almost anyone, while also having very challenging options. We're glad to help you find the right outdoors adventure for you and those traveling with you!

We fell in love with Big Oak Cabin back when it was only a private residence, and bought it to enjoy it for our own trips, as well as to share with others. Its immense trees, including "Big Oak" himself (the 350 year old tree out front) give the property an amazing character. We've never found anywhere so relaxing.
