Cheaply maintained, surface level clean, cold shower

The bathtub corners weren’t clean, and the caulking was cheaply done and cracked. the kitchen had some heated flooring I felt like but only in specific section. It looked nice on the surface but when you actually looked at it, it was cheap. Shower was cold, I contacted the host, they said they couldn’t get out there until my reservation was over. I was there for three days. The photos make it look like there’s some outside space - there isn’t. The picture of the gravel and the fence is the space in front of the front door. The only two windows look out onto garbage cans. Definitely not worth the price. Also it is not a full size refrigerator or a large tv.

Unique flat in good location

Let me start by saying that I travel A LOT for work and stay somewhere different each time unless I love a place. I almost always stay at VRBO properties whether in this country or abroad. Here's the lowdown: The initial communication was a bit odd since I thought I was communicating with someone named Jeanette but it turned out to be someone named Satish...slight red flag with no explanation. Then I was told that they couldn't give me any information regarding how to check in, etc until the day before I was going to check in. Also odd and made me wonder if they use the same entry code for every tenant or don't have it set up to only allow one code at a time...another small red flag. Upon arriving and entering the unit, which is around the side of the building btw, I unpacked and was going to start my work early but the internet didn't work. This eventually required me to climb on an unstable high top bar stool to get up above the TV and reset the router. A quick note about the little dresser/bench thing where the guest book sits, the inside of the drawers are very dirty, so I didn't use those & lived out of my suitcase during my visit. The freezer also had someone's leftover ice cream in it. Makes one wonder about how thoroughly the flat is regularly cleaned. Fast forward a couple of hours to bedtime...the folks upstairs wear boots in their place and walk VERY heavy. Additionally, there are young children and you will hear them arguing and fighting, screaming, etc. That being said, this isn't a unit I would recommend for a business traveler or anyone wanting consistent quiet to work or decompress. If you're usually gone until late at night or in Austin for a festival or something, maybe you won't be in the flat when the kids are still awake & it won't be an issue. The wall over by the window has some sort of rattle that starts up around bed time. I'm not sure if it's another unit's A/C or what, but it is REALLY annoying. Owner notified. By now, I'm definitely getting the feeling that whomever owns this unit NEVER stays in it or they would recognize these things. Let's see, a sign hanging in the kitchen fell off over the sink and almost hit me in the head due to the upstairs stomping. Response from "owner"? was "Ok, thanks"...um, ok. On a scale of 1 to 10, it would be a 6 in my book. Pluses: Hot water gets nice & hot! Great water pressure. Hotel size amenities provided Location is convenient to many things Sheets are of good quality & comfy

Best Bungalow

This is a yummy place to relax and unwind in a nice and quiet neighborhood. There are lots of accessible amenities in walking distance. I felt totally safe by myself.

Football weekend

We loved staying here for our annual Longhorn football game we go to. Definitely recommend this place. It was perfect for me and my husband. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and bathroom with towels. Nice quiet neighborhood and great parking. Bed was comfortable and the a/c worked great for us cause we like it cooler at night. Loved the decorations and atmosphere of it. Definitely recommend it for anyone staying.

Great stay in Austin

Property clean and comfortable with everything you need. The location is in a perfect location and is easy to grab an Urber to head downtown. Neighborhood is quaint and great for walks. I’d highly recommend this property!

Great Little Apartment with Everything You Need

Clean, well stocked kitchen with all the cooking tools you need. Had a lot of storage for a small place and was perfect for a long stay. Was able to store clothes, food and pantry items, bathroom items, etc. without the space feeling cramped. Would also be great for just a few days. The management was super helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again and recommend. The size works best for just one person or a couple.
