Cozy Cottage Old Florida Style sur le lagon d'Indian River

Cottage Queen avec une chambre, salon, cuisine et salle de bain complĂštes, accĂšs Internet haut dĂ©bit et tĂ©lĂ©vision par cĂąble, vĂ©randa et barbecue. Ce cottage a tout le charme de la vieille ville dans le village de St Lucie, sur le lagon d'Indian River. La propriĂ©tĂ© possĂšde prĂšs de six acres de bonheur tropical. Apportez votre bateau ou utilisez nos kayaks, pique-niquez sur l'une des Ăźles en 15 minutes ou sur notre quai avec une grande extrĂ©mitĂ© et une zone couverte pour l'ombre. Si vous aimez pĂȘcher, cet endroit est fait pour vous. Avec la crique Ă  seulement un kilomĂštre, vous pouvez emmener votre bateau vers l'ocĂ©an Ă  deux milles, ou pĂȘcher dans le lagon. Pour ceux qui aiment pĂȘcher depuis le quai, nous avons une station de nettoyage du poisson et des porte-cannes ainsi qu'un systĂšme de lavage Ă  l'eau douce. Le quai s'allume la nuit pour les noctambules. Nous avons beaucoup de livres et de jeux, ainsi qu'un puits de fer Ă  cheval. la machine Ă  glace pĂšse 800 lb afin que vous puissiez remplir votre glaciĂšre avant de vous rendre sur l'une de nos nombreuses plages Ă  partir de 1,5 km.

I enjoyed my stay; getting to have coffee on the dock and watching the sunrise was the best. I also enjoyed finding snails and hermit crabs near the dock at low tide. The cottage needs some repairs, but being from the 1940s warrants some grace. There is some good history there. The host has made many modern upgrades to improve it. The host is very sweet and you can tell she enjoys welcoming her guests and providing details about the place. The grounds the cottages are on are nicely landscaped.

We had a great visit, and appreciated the beauty and nature of the area. This is a cute place outside of the city where you can hear the birds and relax! We will definitely be back! Very interesting place!

These place was lovely. It was very clean and the grounds was immaculate. In the parking area is a great picture place near some beautiful trees. The cottages was adorable and very old but well kept up. The AC units kept the place very cold.

Feels like home

Picture perfect setting. We are made to feel at home from check in to leaving. This is the true Florida experience. Not pretentious, just down to earth.

There were Many wonderful things about the property but there were also things that should have been better. If you like an experience of of old Florida this is a perfect location. The cottages were unique and well turned with fresh bedding, great mattress. some of the things could have been cleaner such as lamps still having the thrift shop markings on them and dusty. There was a hole in the wall in the bedroom where someone had punched the wall And I was surprised they rented it out without patching it. The shower wouldn't drain and you ended up standing in in and dirty water it,seemed to backup. It it needs to be snaked and pipes cleared. The TV didn't work very well it was hard to understand and didn't have the right equipment and they had to come by and Bring another remote. They did respond quickly to that but never fixed the shower or apologize for the hole in the wall.

It was so bad, we left.

We were delayed getting in, so it was dark when we arrived. The property manager provided verbal directions the day prior to the cottage. The grounds weren't well lit nor did it have signs to assist and it was difficult to find. The cottage didn't have an outside light on, so it was hard to see the cottage number on the wall through the screened in porch. Although there was a keypad on the door, it wasn't in use. Had to use a realtor key box to get a key to open the door. The door lock stuck and it took several attempts to open. The main room and kitchen looked nice. When we got to the bedroom, it was dirty. The bedside tables had caked on dust. The bathroom didn't have towels, we had to hunt for them. The bathtub/shower had dirt in it. The bathroom door itself was dirty and needed a good cleaning. We stayed the night since it was so late and we were exhausted. The next morning, it looked even worse in the morning light, so we left. I messaged the property manager and she said the cottage was clean and the grounds were well lit. I offered her pictures of the dirty cottage and recommended additional signage so it would be easier to find the correct cottage(since there were multiple on the property) but no response. Our beach cottage stay was ruined, I truly wouldn't recommend staying there.

The property was an easy walk to the beach and private pier. Kim and Robert were gracious and informative to their guests. The neighbors were very nice and seemed pleased w/ their accommodations. Overall we had a great time staying there.

Cute coastal cottage- vintage vibe

Lovely property right on the water. Pier is just perfect for fishing! Cottage was very quaint and somewhat rustic. Tiny bathroom for tall folks...Had everything we needed and the communication with the host was perfect.

PICTURES DON'T ACCURATELY REFLECT CONDITION

On a positive note, the dock and view are great. The property is located close to beaches, restaurants, shopping, boat launches etc. Communication with the owner/property manager was good. As to the negative, we stayed in cabin #6. The online photos do not accurately reflect the true condition of that particular cabin. Clearly the owners have done a lot of work - particularly to the kitchen. However, the entire cabin is dirty and needs painting. There is wallpaper hanging off the walls and the electrical situation is a mess. In particular, the bathroom is really really bad. I feel the unit should be cleaned / renovated (especially the bathroom) prior to another rental.

Our stay here was AMAZING. The cottages are beautiful and you couldn't ask for better scenery.

We loved our time here so much that we ended up booking 2 extra days ( made super easy by Kimberly :) The cottages are adorable and so are the lizards. The fishing was great and the scenery was phenomenal. We can't wait to come back.
