Ocean Cottage 40 Ce magnifique cottage de 3 chambres, 3. 5 salles de bain est parfait pour vos prochaines vacances. Cette maison est située dans la nouvelle communaut�� de Jekyll Island, The Cottages at Jekyll Island, et offre une vue sur l'océan. Ce cottage dispose de 2 suites principales, une à chaque étage, et d'une chambre au deuxième étage. Le premier étage abrite une cuisine ouverte qui donne sur la salle à manger spacieuse et le salon principal. La cuisine est équipée d'appareils électroménagers Whirlpool en acier inoxydable et d'une machine Keurig. Hors de la zone de vie principale est un porche filtré, parfait pour chaque saison. La suite principale est complétée par la suite principale, le linge superposable et le demi-bain. Le deuxième étage abrite l’une des deux suites principales ainsi que la chambre d’hôte, chacune avec un lit queen size, une salle de bain privée et un accès au balcon supérieur.
Ce chalet est le "Heron" plan d'étage et accueille 6.
Linge de maison inclus.

GESTION SUR SITE

Accès à la plage: La poursuite du projet de réhabilitation du revêtement de recouvrement de Jekyll Island, dans l’État de Géorgie, a entraîné la perte temporaire de l’accès à la plage de l’eau le long de notre littoral. Il y a toujours un accès à la plage à marée haute, côté terre du revêtement de roche. Nous vous recommandons Driftwood Beach, situé au nord de The Cottages ou à seulement quelques minutes au sud en voiture de la région du parc Great Dunes.

Nous nous excusons pour tout inconvénient que cela pourrait causer pendant votre visite et apprécions votre sous-estimation de l'importance de ce projet.

The Cottages at Jekyll Island

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect with spectacular views from both floors. It was magical waking up to the sunrise over the ocean every morning. Beautiful place!!

Comfortable, Beautiful, and Great Location

This was a top-notch beach house. Plenty of room, very thoughtfully and beautifully furnished and decorated. The view of the beach could not be beat, it was just incredible. We were very comfortable there and had a wonderful time.

Wonderful accommodations. Peaceful respite.

We chose Jekyll Island for a long weekend getaway and it didn't disappoint. The cottage was really nice and the screened porch facing the ocean was our gathering place after long bike rides and beach days. The bed was also super comfy which is hard to find at a VRBO, it seems.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WE love the location of the property. Overall it was fine but some items showing their wear and need attention (stains on furniture both inside and out, could use a deep clean)

Beautiful place!

Beautiful place! We loved the townhome and community. The townhome had everything we needed. The layout was perfect for our family with two small kids. We enjoyed all of it especially the screened porch overlooking the ocean. The island was very bike friendly with great trails. We were unsure what to expect with the current COVID situation but the beach and village were not over crowded. Great vacation spot!

Cottage 40

We had a great stay. The place was very nice and clean. Everything needed was supplied. This place has a great pool area and proximity to the beach is great. The only thing is that the beach is not accessible but a short period of time each day depending on the tide schedule. We knew this already though from reading about the cottage when we rented it. We would definitely rent again.

Great family Vacation

Sofa was very comfortable but stained and needs a good cleaning. The recliners were comfy too but the handle was broken on one of them. Bathrooms were awesome. Big showers. The porch and patio chairs are very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous townhouse on the Beach

Our family of 4 enjoyed 6 days at Jekyll Island at the Cottages #40 with 3 bathrooms and 3 1/2 baths. We were very comfortable with the king bedroom and my brother-in-law and niece each had their own room and bath. We used the washer and dryer downstairs and the kitchen was very useful. Our favorite part of the house was the back porch screened in and facing the ocean where we could see and hear the waves and passing boats. We even saw dolphins for our recliners!! We will be back.

Great Vacation Spot

We enjoyed our stay here. The property was exceptionally clean, the furniture and beds were very comfortable, and the screen porch was the perfect spot for our morning coffee and evening cocktails. Jekyll Island was a wonderful vacation destination with its laid back style, uncrowded beaches and excellent restaurants. The food market on the island is very expensive, so stock up on food, drinks, and essentials before you get here. The only suggestion to make out stay more enjoyable would be to provide beach towels, beach chairs, sun umbrella and maybe even a small cooler. We were aware that these items were not provided, but having to pack bulky beach towels in our suitcases made it a challenge to meet the airline luggage weight requirements! One of the beaches in town rents chairs and umbrellas, but at $30 a day for 2 chairs and 1 umbrella, it adds up quick. The complex pool is nearby and very clean - it was the perfect spot to cool down and unwind after a day of sight seeing. Overall, we would recommend this property.

Great secluded family trip

We wanted somewhere we could continue to social distance and see the ocean - 40 Cottage was perfect. We slept every night listening to the ocean waves and read books on the 2 porches looking at the sea. We walked down to the beach at low tide and loved all of the sea life - blue herons, sand dollars and tiny crabs. We left the car parked for the week and biked everywhere - given the condo is pretty far north it was a long bike to most things other than driftwood beach but not so long that our 7 and 9 year old couldn’t do it. I am not sure I would rent in this development for a summer beach trip as the wider beaches accessible throughout the low and high tides are further south. The condo was huge and beautiful and minimalist in its decor. Our only feedback is that there was an intense odor when we arrived that required some airing out (like a mix of wet dog and cleaning solution) and the condo was sparsely appointed (bring your own laundry detergent, toilet paper, and K-cups as there is only a Keurig but no cups were provided).

Beach itself hard to access

This is a gorgeous oceanfront property. It is beautifully appointed and full of lovely and very comfortable furnishings. The view of the ocean is incomparable. Unfortunately, this part of Jekyll Island does not have much beach. The pool is great and access to the beach is good, the few hours a day that water is not covering it. If you don’t have to be on the beach, this is a great home to enjoy all the other things that Jekyll Island has to offer.
