Bienvenue au Sailors Cottage, (nouveau sur le marché de la location pour 2019) Perché sur une colline surplombant Coral Bay et au-delà de Norman Island, le Sailors Cottage est le lieu de vacances idéal pour des vacances en famille.
RĂ©veillez-vous avec un magnifique lever de soleil sur la mer des CaraĂŻbes. Passez votre journĂ©e de randonnĂ©e ou de dĂ©tente sur une plage immaculĂ©e du parc national. Ensuite, venez vous dĂ©tendre sur la terrasse de la piscine, faire un barbecue, faire un plongeon dans la piscine et vous dĂ©tendre avec un cocktail tout en revivant les aventures de la journĂ©e et en regardant les bateaux naviguer pour s’amarrer pour la nuit.
Sailors Cottage est à 5 minutes en voiture de tous les magasins et restaurants que Coral Bat a à offrir, mais est juste assez éloigné pour se sentir privé et loin de tout.
Sailors Cottage est une maison en pierre avec des accents nautiques. La cuisine est entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour savourer un repas Ă  la maison et vous trouverez mĂȘme un lave-vaisselle pour vous aider Ă  faire le mĂ©nage. La chambre principale a un lit king size, une salle de bain complĂšte et un grand placard. La chambre des enfants a 2 lits jumeaux. Les deux chambres sont climatisĂ©es.
Venez admirer les Ă©toiles au Sailors Cottage et profitez de la magnifique ville de St John dans un quartier calme, loin de l'agitation de la vie quotidienne.
Sailors Cottage convient le mieux Ă  une famille de 4 personnes ou Ă  un couple. Bien que les espaces de vie, la piscine et la terrasse soient confortables pour 4 adultes, les chambres ne sont pas Ă©gales. La chambre principale a une salle de bains et un placard, la chambre des enfants a 2 lits jumeaux mais pas de salle de bain. Les chambres sont accessibles par un escalier extĂ©rieur, ce qui peut poser problĂšme aux enfants plus petits. Nous souhaiterions la bienvenue Ă  2 couples que nous ne voudrions tout simplement pas ĂȘtre déçus.

Checkin was great. Road to home is extremely bumpy but worthwhile. Pool and view is phenomenal. Great place. No AC in the main unit. Dont forget to rub the belly of the Buddha.

The property was very nice and clean and Kim was over the top helpful. The views of Coral Bay are amazing with gorgeous sunrises. I would definitely stay here again. We absolutely loved our time at Sailors Cottage and Coral Bay! Can't wait to go back!

Amazing Views

Beautiful little villa, better than advertised! The hosts are incredibly hospitable and helpful and made our stay so easy. The views are unbeatable, and the access is central to north shore beaches, east end, south shore. Will definitely stay again if we ever come back!

Amazing place & view

We loved this beautiful, sweet home. Kimberly was such a gracious host and readily helpful and available. The living space & kitchen were perfect. It had all the amenities that you would need for a comfortable stay. The pool, patio, and view were over the top! We loved hanging out on the patio in the morning sipping our coffee, watching the hummingbirds, and planning our day. In the evening, we would have drinks, look at the stars, and reminisce about our day.

Peaceful island retreat

This house was exactly what we were hoping for. Tranquil atmosphere with an amazing view. Very clean and stocked with pretty much everything you'll need. Kim was a great host and very quick to respond to text messages. Highly recommended.

We loved our time at Sailors Cottage. As previous reviews attest, Kim is a great host. She (and her family) did everything they could to make sure we had what we needed. We are completely sold on the Coral Bay side of the island, and would, without a doubt, stay here again.

Sailor's Cottage

Property has everything that you would expect and more. Very clean with beautiful views. My only suggestion would be to look at getting the wifi / television added to the solar panel power as the grid power to the property dropped off multiple times. This was a minor issue and very much elcipsed by how wonderful the stay was overall!

Tranquility with a view

I think we hit the jackpot with finding this house for our first trip to the island! Kim was helpful from the jump and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of! Everything is a quick drive away that you may need. The breeze with the windows open was so nice, fresh air all day. Can’t wait to return! ☀

A gem of sweet solitude

We stayed at Sailor's Cottage for a week of bliss snd chill time. The property managers were very responsive to our needs. The views are astounding. There is plenty to do in the area, but if you just need to kick back, this is a great place. The house is uber functional, there is air conditioning in the bedroom with king size bed and en suite. Second full bath is upstairs along with a full kitchen, TV, good Internet, soft breezes, and spectacular scenery. Perfect place for a couple who want to snuggle in and relax.

Great View!

Overall we enjoyed Sailor’s Cottage. Great communication and orientation of the property by the host, Kim. The view was beautiful and we spent all of our evenings sitting outside by the pool. One of the only negatives was the road to the villa
be prepared because it’s rough. Not scary, just rough. We planned our day to only have traverse down and up once a day. lolThe only other negative was the ants we encountered daily. I know we are in the tropics, but despite many attempts to rid, we had tiny ants in the kitchen and master. I almost think they were coming through the screen? Overall, it was a very nice week

Amazing view!

Kim was an outstanding host and very knowledgeable about St John. She checked in on us and answered every question we had almost immediately. The house was great from top to bottom but the best part was the view. Only the bedrooms have a/c so the main house got a little stuffy in the afternoons/evenings since the bedrooms are only accessible from the outside downstairs. The road to the house is a nightmare, not gonna lie, but we got used to it after a couple of days. You definitely need an suv for ground clearance

The views!

Lovely! Completely as expected. Very clean, nice decorum. Pool was so nice and the shaded area with the two chairs outside is where we lived when at the House. Perfect communication with Kim.

Wonderful cottage and superb host!

Kim is outstanding and communicated with us regularly. She was very helpful even when we had to make a minor adjustment due to flight schedule issues. The cottage is well outfitted and she has thought of everything to make your stay relaxed. The property is well maintained and we had zero issues. The location is beautiful but to get to it requires a jeep, you definitely want to rent a jeep or similar 4WD vehicle. The view of Coral Bay is worth the drive.

I moved to the Virgin Islands almost 30 years ago and worked as a hotel pastry chef and as a chef on charter boats. Sailing and baking are my passion. I pursued my baking passion first, opening Baked in the Sun in Cruz Bay in 2000. It was a great 10 years of baking for friends, family and visitors on St John. In 2010 I sold the bakery to 2 of the employees and prepared for the next adventure, a sail around the world! We left in 2012 myself, my husband David and our then 6 year old son Zack onboard our 44 foot sailboat “Flour Girl “It was an amazing 5 year adventure, we visited many countries, made amazing friends along the way, and had the adventure of a lifetime. We sailed back into Cruz Bay on June 6th 2017 and it was still the most beautiful and magical place we had ever been! There was a little blip there in September and we lost our sailboat “Flour Girl”. But, life goes on, and we purchased Sailors Cottage and we spend our days living the adventure that is St John.
