Owl's Nest, de construction récente, accueille les animaux de compagnie à environ 20 minutes du centre-ville de Blowing Rock et à 15 minutes de la promenade Blue Ridge Parkway! Cette maison est également un beau quinze minutes en voiture de Grandfather Mountain, et à seulement trente minutes de Sugar Ski Resort et Appalachian Ski Mountain!

Sentez-vous comme à la maison dès que vous entrez dans l'entrée et soyez accueilli par le grand salon et une vue imprenable sur les montagnes, dont Misty Mountain. Assurez-vous de profiter du télescope dans le salon pour voir The Blowing Rock! Détendez-vous dans la soirée devant la cheminée à bois, pendant que le chef de famille prépare le dîner dans la cuisine gastronomique. Ou admirez le coucher de soleil à couper le souffle le soir, tout en faisant griller des guimauves dans le feu extérieur du pont principal. Prenez un après-midi et détendez-vous dans la partie supérieure du loft avec un bon livre ou choisissez l’un des nombreux casse-tête sur lesquels travailler un jour de pluie. Défiez votre adversaire au billard ou détendez-vous sur le pont inférieur et détendez-vous au son de la crique située derrière la propriété. Le tout nouveau spa vous attend pour vous détendre après de longues randonnées à travers les montagnes ou des aventures shopping en centre-ville.

Au niveau inférieur se trouvent deux chambres, l’une avec un lit queen-size et l’autre avec deux ensembles de lits superposés pour les enfants avec une salle de bain commune avec un combo baignoire / douche. La confortable chambre principale avec lit king-size se trouve à côté du salon et comprend une salle de bain avec baignoire et douche à l'italienne. La dernière chambre est située au niveau supérieur avec un lit Queen. Toutes les salles de bains ont un sèche-cheveux fourni par les propriétaires. Cette magnifique maison peut accueillir jusqu'à dix personnes, parfait pour une réunion de famille ou un séjour entre amis. Visitez le Blue Ridge et vivez la vie de montagne de luxe à Owls Nest.

I cannot say enough about how beautiful this property is! The modern design and amenities, the extraordinary views, the proximity to all the best towns along the Blue Ridge Pkwy… it was a dream! We were there as the leaves were starting to turn for Fall. Close to Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, and accessible to Boone. I highly recommend Owl’s Nest for friend and family gatherings.

Stunning views in a beautiful cabin. Property was clean and had all the essentials -- about 15 minutes away from stores and supplies, which made it feel more remote. We will look to stay here on future trips!

Amazing mountain view

The home was perfect and the view was amazing. The home could use a more thorough cleaning (floors and dusting) but it would not prevent me from staying again. We enjoyed the view and would definitely stay here again.

The VIEWS!!!

Transformative

The view is absolute perfection. We sat in silence, prayer, and often in giggles of delight. The home is well appointed, with a full kitchen and luxury linens. We sat outside star gazing with a fire burning, you can see for miles with only a few homes on the distant mountain tops as signs of civilization. Would stay again.

Awesome house!!!

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at Owls Nest. The place was clean and very comfortable, we had 8 people and plenty of room to move around. The view is worth the trip even though we did experience some bad weather. It was “ Masters “ weekend and the TV worked amazing all weekend! Also, my daughter left an item behind that was found by cleaning crew and is being mailed back to us at no charge!

Beautiful home

The house was truly spectacular and the view was amazing! Had everything you could need for a weekend getaway. As previous reviewers may have said, the house could have been cleaned more meticulously. Lots of dust on top of certain surfaces that were obviously overlooked and under the beds. Wifi did not work and tv in the master bedroom did not work. However, despite these things I would still give this location an absolute 5 stars and would not hesitate to go back. It was truly a wonderful location for our family getaway.

Gorgeous view with lots of space

We had a wonderful time having a girls weekend here. Very chilly but we were happy to still get use out of the hot tub. The driveway is very steep and the road overall was well maintained and clear. The showers had some stuff on the ground and the drain in one was very clogged. We also had to hunt to find hand soaps for some of the bathrooms. Other than that we had a great time. The kitchen is spacious and had everything we needed. When the weather is clear, the view can't be beat!

Remote, but not too remote. Awesome house

We stayed the week between Christmas and new years 2019. House is as described. Cool hiking right outside the house. Kitchen was well stocked, I do recommend bringing a few things if you plan to do a lot of cooking at home during your stay, ie: Good non stick skillet, eggs and such, a big pot, homemade soup and such. The real wood fireplace is an absolute must for us. there was plenty of fire wood. Almost all of these type of cabin rentals recommend 4 wheel drive in the winter, This one is an absolute must if you think it will ice or snow during your stay. I recommend Owl's Nest.

Overall cleanliness was fine, although we couldn’t check in early because of maintenance. “Maintenance” being done although the upstairs fan remote in the bedroom did not work, nor did the one down stairs. Dead mouse laying on the bricks at the outside seating area and fire place. Refrigerator would not keep cold hardly at all.

Fantastic house!!

This house was beautiful and perfect for two families with small children. There was lots of space for us to spread out and we loved the outdoor space as well. Beautiful stay!

Views were breathtaking. Spent mostly all of our time sitting outside by the fireplace, cooking dinner in the kitchen, playing pool and playing games in the basement. Everything was clean and perfect, other than a chair leg half broken, a few small stains in the carpet from other dogs, dust and dog hair by the window sills and doors. Needs to be vacuumed and checked between crevices more. Other than those small inconveniences, everything was amazing.

Breathtaking Mountain View

The view is absolutely stunning! We loved waking up to the sun rising over the mountains, enjoying sweeping mountain views from just about every room in the house. We got lots of use out of the outdoor fireplace and the hottub. One of the best vacations ever!
