La cabane She Creek est située sur cinq acres en bordure de la forêt nationale de Chattahoochee. Il y a plus de 800 pieds de façade de ruisseau privé avec un grand foyer situé sur les rives. Un autre foyer vous attend juste devant la porte arrière de votre cabine.

Fabriqué entièrement en bois de la propriété, le chalet a été construit dans un esprit de détente en montagne. Votre maison de vacances se trouve sur une colline, est complètement entourée de bois et offre une vue spectaculaire. À partir du porche enveloppant de 200 pieds, vous pouvez utiliser les jumelles fournies pour regarder les cerfs brouter dans votre cour. L'ours occasionnel peut s'arrêter pour voir ce que vous faites et profiter d'une partie du bloc de sel et de l'avoine. Regardez la dinde sauvage se pavaner dans la cour et les colibris apprécient le nectar des mangeoires à quelques centimètres de vous sur le porche. Une famille de hiboux vit dans un arbre sur la propriété et une famille de faucons vivent également à proximité. Vous voudrez certainement apporter votre appareil photo.

À votre arrivée, vous trouverez probablement un pot de gelée de mûres maison sur le comptoir de la cuisine. Cette gelée était faite de baies cueillies sur la propriété. Si vous avez la chance d'être ici en juillet, nous vous recommandons d'apporter des seaux de baies pour la cueillette.

La cabine a été meublée avec de nombreux équipements. Il dispose d'une nouvelle laveuse et sécheuse haute efficacité et d'une télévision grand écran haute définition avec plus de 150 chaînes diffusées par satellite. Certains films et jeux sont fournis pour le lecteur DVD. Pour une soirée agréable et tranquille, profitez de certains des jeux de société ou des puzzles. Parce que le service cellulaire dans les montagnes peut être au mieux sommaire, nous avons inclus les appels interurbains gratuits à partir de la ligne terrestre.

Si la randonnée est ce pour quoi vous venez dans les montagnes, nous avons une variété de livres et de cartes qui vous montreront comment trouver des chutes d'eau et des sentiers de randonnée à proximité.

She Creek Cabin est situé à seulement cinq kilomètres du rafting en eau vive sur la rivière Wild & Scenic Chattooga, où le film «Deliverance» a été tourné. Nous sommes également à seulement cinq kilomètres du golf de Kingwood. We have been to quite a few cabins over the years. This is one of our favorites. We really enjoyed the firepit. Very quiet neighborhood with amazing views. It is close to a few state parks. We only had time visiting two of them (Tallulah gorge state park and black mountain state park) and these two parks are amazing. Barbara is a wonderful host. Thanks for your late night delivery of a few items, Barbara.

Very quiet

The cabin itself was great. The owner was very quick to answer when we had two problems come up during stay. Only thing was i thought it was more on the creek than it was. Just plan ahead you do have to go on a little walk to get down to creek and use strais to get into the water. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful morning view

We had a wonderful time celebrating my dad's birthday and Thanksgiving here. Loved waking up and sitting on the upstairs screened porch and taking in the beautiful view and fresh air. Cabin was perfect, lots of room, stocked kitchen and extra linens, peaceful creek, great firepit. Highly recommend!

A True Getaway

My stay at She Creek Cabin was just the seclusion we were looking for without being too far from everything we needed. A short drive through a winding road (a portion unpaved but completely accessible) gets you to this cozy cabin. It was just the right size for 3 adults, 2 teenagers, a toddler, and a dog. We loved the fire pit which had plenty of firewood for multiple night of s’mores, and the creek found at the bottom of the trail from the back yard. My dog had a great time splashing around in the creek. Ingles supermarket and downtown Clayton were a short drive away. The property is quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. There’s plenty of trails and waterfalls that kept us busy every day. I can’t say enough about how much the property manager’s responsiveness was appreciated!! We had a wonderful time and hope to return. Thank you!

Good location, close to clayton and peaceful

Stayed at this property for a weekend while hiking Black Rock Mountain. The property is nice. It is a bit confusing trying to get to it as it is on a larger property with multiple homes and the directions are not clear as to where to go. The place itself is as described. We had our dogs with us and there was a great back yard for them to explore and lots of room in the house. There is a nice spacious balcony area with room to eat which is a great hangout but currently their are multiple wasp nests there so you have to be cautious. We cooked our meals at the property and had all the necessary equipment which was great. The dishwasher kept getting stuck which was a pain by the end of the stay but other than that the rest of the appliances worked well. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Overall, I would recommend this place and would consider staying here again in the future.

This property was perfectly secluded. The creek and swing sets were the favorite for our kiddos. The location to town is just right. We have been to the area several times but this was definitely a favorite!!!! I would love to come back in summer time for sure!

Perfect mountain getaway!

My husband and I stayed at Barbara’s place during our wedding weekend with our 2 dogs, and it was absolutely perfect. The place was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the views were beautiful! We enjoyed spending nights on the back porch, and walking down to the stream with our dogs. I would highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a cozy mountain escape! We hope to return again soon :)

Perfect home for our group

We were in the area to go rafting on the Chattooga river. This house is about 15 minutes from the outpost and not too far from downtown Clayton GA. The house waa clean, had an amazing deck off the back of the house with an awesome view. We had everything we needed. Would stay here again.

She Creek Cabin is AWESOME!

This wonderful cabin by the creek has a two big yards to play in. Blueberries, blackberries, peaches, adult and child swings! Two fire pits! The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable and the cabin has all the amenities! Extremely clean! We throughly enjoyed our 10 days here making memories and enjoying the area! We highly recommend this cabin and look forward to returning! She Creek Cabin has our 5 star review! Thanks for the great vacation!

Beautiful and Remote

This cabin has everything you need. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the downstairs living room great to gather. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you might need. The neighborhood can be a bit intimidating as you drive in. We spent xmas here and for our good deed picked up trash all along the dirt road leading to the house. We picked up six bags of trash! It's a rural neighborhood with some junk cars, etc. But once you get to the house it's very worth it and peaceful!

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

Just stayed 2 nights but it was a good experience. Definitely off the beaten path and soooo quiet! The downstairs great room was ideal for catching the Georgia Bulldogs AND Atlanta Braves games while enjoying the sunset. During the day we visited a couple of the local wineries (Stonewall Creek Vineyards and 12 Spies Vineyards) which were quite a treat! The property description needs to be updated since the screens have been removed from the back porch. It was still quite comfortable and roomy, however. Also, be aware the last 100 yards or so of the road are narrow and may be a little challenging for very large or very low vehicles and VERY challenging for bagger or cruiser motorcycles especially if lowered. All things considered, She Creek Cabin is a great getaway!

Peaceful, secluded, and the creek!

First off, Barbara was super helpful and great to work with. The place was great and there were no surprises. Had everything we needed and felt very comfortable. Big wins for us were the location and the creek. The location felt extremely secluded but close enough to the grocery store, restaurants, and shops. The only sound we heard was the creek. Also, super close to lots of hiking. The creek was Rosie's (the dog) favorite part for sure. Watching her joyfully splash around were some of the best moments. Definitely recommend, especially if you're bringing your pup.

2nd visit was just as great as the first!

Very convenient location. About a 15 minutes drive to downtown Clayton. Barbara is an excellent host and the home is very clean! Love to watch the hummingbirds! The view is amazing and peaceful. We will definitely return for a 3rd visit too!!

She Creek cabin

We had a grand time at the cabin. So peaceful and comfortable. Loved the hummingbird show everyday. Beds were soft and comfy. Just about everything you could need in kitchen. Plenty of TVs for everyone to watch what they want. Clayton has changed a lot in 25 years since we were last here. Not a sleepy little town any longer. Lots of restaurants and attractions.

Very comfortable mountain cabin

This cabin has a great layout and very comfortable beds! The stream in the back is an added bonus. Barbara is a thoughtful hostess who was kind enough to check in to see how are stay was going. It was definitely a relaxing getaway.

We actually bought this cabin in order to halt development on the cabin's five acres of land.

During our family reunion we will have 50 or more people show up at the cabin for cookouts and fun around the fire. We spend the week rafting on Sections III and IV of the Chattooga River and we funyak and swim on the easier sections of the river. We also spend a lot of time hiking, shopping in the nearby antique villages and towns, and some days we simply play at the cabin having fun in the creek.
