Profitez, Balayer, vue dégagée spectaculaire sur le Pacifique à partir de cette spacieuse ft 1400 sq 8ème étage deux chambres à coucher, unité de coin à deux bains au Mahana sur Ka'anapali Beach -.. Considéré comme l'un des plus belles plages du monde.

Détendez-vous sur la véranda ou le canapé circulaire donnant sur l'océan. Regarder le coucher de soleil sur le Pacifique et les îles de Lanai et Molokai en face de vous. Et, Numéro 819 est une unité de coin, profitez de la vue de côté supplémentaire en bas de la plage de sable blanc vers Black Rock à partir des fenêtres du sol au plafond enveloppant. Seuls les 20 yards de la plage, il est l'endroit idéal pour voir les baleines à bosse, les phoques moines, ou des dauphins! Vous pourrez même apercevoir une tortue de mer!

Dans la matinée, nager dans la piscine d'océan privée du Mahana, tuba dans le récif de corail à l'avant ou flâner le long de la plage de sable peu fréquentée dessous de vous. Dans la soirée, profiter de quelques minutes dans le spa sous les étoiles et s'endormir au son des clapotis des vagues sur le rivage.

Cette unité sereine, élégamment meublées dispose d'un lit king-size avec un merveilleux nouveau matelas Tempur-Pedic dans la chambre principale et un mur en teck lit queen-size très confortable avec sommiers à ressorts dans la chambre d'amis. Séparez les contrôles A / C dans la chambre principale et chambre d'hôtes vous permettent de régler la température pour un confort ultime.

La nouvelle cuisine ultra moderne est équipée d'appareils Miele haut de gamme et est entièrement équipée avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin et même plus, même un porte-épices, pour préparer un repas parfait au coucher du soleil, à savourer à la belle table à manger en marbre ou sur votre véranda.

Trois télévision par câble (tous les haut de gamme à écran plat LCD téléviseurs), Internet haute vitesse par satellite à large bande et d'accès sans fil, CD stéréo avec station d'accueil iPod et un lecteur de DVD ajouter à votre divertissement.

The views were amazing and being able to sit on the balcony and watch the Maui sunset with whales passing by is an unforgettable experience. The home felt like a home away from home. Had all the kitchen and amenities we needed for the week and was a short walk to the food truck park where we had dinner and listened to the music. The family agreed it is a place we will certainly return too.

We had a wonderful 10 day stay at this very lovely condo. The ocean views are absolutely breathtaking. We woke up every day to breakfast on the balcony where we were able to watch whales jumping, dolphins playing, and sea turtles. The condo had everything we needed and the kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. Mahalo for a great stay.

Beautiful and great location, i do believe the bedding’s in both rooms need to be upgraded as the master bedroom futon bed was not as comfortable and would prefer a standard king size bed and new pillows would be nice in both bedrooms too as they seemed to be outdated with the living couch otherwise excellent views, easy check in and location

Lovely, quiet property with spectacular ocean views. Kitchen is well stocked. Be aware that the master bed, although very comfortable is on a platform a foot or so off of the floor. If you have mobility issues, knees or hips, then getting in and out of this bed is challenging.

BEST VRBO EVER

We've been renting units on VRBO and other sites for over 15 years. This is far and away the best rental we've ever had anywhere. The views were breathtaking, truly the best on the beach. The unit and building were clean and well kept, the beds, recliners and couch were very comfortable and the artwork was exquisite. To top it off, we saw many whales playing in the surf everyday of our stay.

Wonderful whale watching

The views from the condo and the lanai are spectacular. We enjoyed watching the whales play while having morning coffee and evening wine. The kitchen was well equipped. The art work and furnishings are beautiful, but functional. Kathy was immediately responsive to questions and issues that arose from the pandemic. We couldn't have asked for a better expereince.

We have stayed at the Mahana 9 times and we love it The view from this unit is spectacular Unfortunately the air conditioning did not work for the majority of our stay We know that the whole tower was out but nights were very hot a couple of fans would have helped The dishwasher was not working and repair man couldn’t fix it The toilet in master bedroom was leaking The owner responded to our concerns but unfortunately. nothing was done We love the Mahana and this unit has the best view of any we have stayed at but the issues we had did affect our stay .

Spacious condo with the best ocean view! Whale watchers dream!

This condo is much more spacious than it appears in photos! Once you turn the corner in the hallway and see that view, you will be speechless! We spent many hours just looking out the windows into the ocean or on the lanai. We saw so many whales, turtles, rainbows, surfers (even a kite surfer) and gorgeous sunsets all right outside the window…it was a dream! The property is lovely, with a nice heated pool, spacious hot tub and shuffleboard. The location is excellent and not nearly as busy as Whaler’s Village area (which was a huge plus for us). We loved being able to walk to Duke’s, the awesome Honokōwai Food Truck Park, Pizza Paradiso, and Times Supermarket (great prices!)…and you're only a quick drive to Whaler’s Village, Napili and Kapalua. Kathy provides everything you may need in the condo…beach toys, towels, endless kitchen utensils. Thank you, Kathy, for your hospitality! I will be dreaming of that view for a long time…we loved our stay and would recommend in a heartbeat!

A few minor issues but overall a wonderful stay!

The good: - Great location, easy walk to the beach, restaurants, a grocery store, food trucks, bars and other resorts. - The view is a 10. You will not find a better view at any price in this area. Simply amazing. - The unit is in good condition and well cared for. - Free parking. - The onsite staff are friendly and very helpful. The not so good (but not bad): - We did have a few issues during our stay (AC needed to be fixed, dishwasher stopped working, we lost water pressure and hot water several times) but the hosts were helpful/responsive and the building maintenance was excellent. - One thing that would have been nice to know before hand was that there was construction going on at the building. This wasn't a major deal as they typically started after 8am but it was pretty noisy throughout the day. - There are A LOT of house rules. I would avoid staying in this unit if you have kids or irresponsible adults in your group. Even with a few minor issues, we had a wonderful stay and I would go back without hesitation.

Million dollar view

The view from this condo is spectacular! You will have a tough time beating the amazing view here. We saw sea turtles everyday from the balcony and at the beach. The sound of the waves from the balcony was so peaceful and made for a perfect place to enjoy our morning coffee. For the interior, the mattresses were very comfortable, the kitchen is very modern with great appliances and the kitchen was very clean. Outside of that though, there were a few minor cleanliness issues such as dusty vents and fingerprints on the glass windows. We ended up cleaning some of the glass windows ourselves to better enjoy the view. The guest toilet was leaking during the beginning of our stay which ended up stopping on its own. The toilet doesn’t fill properly and seems to have some type of issue that prevented the bowl from filling with water. There was a miscommunication with the host about maintenance coming in to look at the toilet. We wanted to be there when they came but it wasn’t coordinated properly and they came when we were gone. The host was very responsive when I reached out about the issue with the toilet. The host did communicate that the guest sink had issues with the faucet being very loose and that a replacement part was on order. We avoided using that sink as a result. You can tell the property is a little worn and dated in some ways, but even with a few minor issues the view and location make this place fantastic.

Fabulous Stay

My husband, my 12 y/o granddaughter & I just concluded our 10 day stay in Kathy & David’s Mahana condo. Our plane landed at night so we didn’t have much to see on our drive to Kaanapali. We easily checked-in, got settled in the condo & went to bed, exhausted. When we woke up the next morning we were greeted with the most stunning view from the floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking the beach. The view took our collective breaths away. Wow, just wow! The condo is well-equipped with everything you would need if you find yourself inclined to cook (I didn’t LOL). Staples such as spices, cooking oils, etc are ample. Plenty of dishes, glasses, pots & pans, etc. You have a choice of drip coffee machine, a single cup Keurig, or a French Press. The bedrooms were comfortable with ample closet & drawer space. Sitting each morning with a cup of coffee in the comfortable recliner chairs overlooking the ocean was the perfect way to begin the day. It was also the perfect way to watch the sun set each evening. Although it was the end of whale season, we spotted whales in the distance on a number of occasions. We also saw many sea turtles from the condo & watched them battle the waves to get out to sea. My granddaughter was thrilled with all these sightings. The closet filled with beach gear made beach days very easy & enjoyable. Kathy & David provided toiletries to get us started, which got us through the first few days. The appliances are all high-end Miele & were easy to use & worked well. Kathy & David’s condo guide was very helpful with suggestions for activities, restaurants & shopping.

Stunning view!

There is a lot about this condo to love, but first and foremost is the view. We saw many mother and calf whale pairs from our perch on the sofa. Watching them jump and splash was a joy. The photos are accurate-- it is a very clean, comfortably decorated townhouse with a dated but very well equipped kitchen. Everything we needed for meal preparation was there, including spices. We did have a issue with the kitchen lighting-- the light would not stay on for longer than 10 minutes or so at a time- it would then short out and could not be turned back on. It would turn back on 10-15 minutes later. This made meal prep difficult -- there was a dim light over the sink and another over the counter, but without the overhead, I couldn't see food at the stove area at all. I noticed this was mentioned in other reviews and the owner fixed it in the past, but it was still happening during out stay. There is a very nice community grill set up by the pool with multiple well maintained propane grills- we grilled there twice. The beach right outside is really just for fishing and looking at- a good swimming beach is a 1/2 mile walk. We were delighted to find boogie boards and two chairs that we could use during out stay. The one thing that really bothered us was the sink in the master bath. It is a lovely "art" bronze sink that is a bit impractical to use (water splashes out while you wash your face, for example). By the sink was a small framed notice announcing that the sink was a work of art and must be washed and hand dried after EVERY use! It also instructed us to use nothing but "gentle soap" in the sink. As one must pay a deposit when booking the condo, I was concerned that if my toothpaste or other product stained the faux "aged" finish or if I damaged the finish by failing to gently wash and dry the sink after every use I would lose my deposit. Frankly, my feeling is that a bathroom sink should be durable enough to stand up to typical bathroom use. The owner should either replace this sink with something more typical or accept that normal use will change the faux "aged" finish on the sink surface. Washing and drying the sink after one uses the toilet in the middle of the night is an annoyance. Nagging my husband to wash and dry the sink after brushing his teeth was not fun either. Overall, this is a great place with much to recommend it. If I could, I would give it 4.5 stars.

Hello Deirdre, I'm glad that you enjoyed the condo and the amazing views. How wonderful that you saw mother and calf whale pairs from the sofa! I'm glad you found everything you needed in the kitchen. I was sorry about the kitchen overhead light. We had the same problem in another condo and it was easily fixed the same day. I only wish you had called us right away! We are actually installing a beautiful ultra modern new European kitchen with Bauformat cabinetry and state-of-the-art Miele appliances in a few weeks in April. I hope that you will come back to enjoy it. The views will be opened up too since the front upper cabinets (over the counter) will be gone! We appreciate your taking care of the bronze sink in the master bath. Yes, it is a piece of art! Some people are not as diligent as you are, but no one has lost a deposit over it! We both grew up by the sea, David in Ireland, Kathy in San Francisco and we always knew that however far away we moved from it, we would always come back. After we met in college, we traveled much of the world together, but it was Maui and the stretch of beach in front of the Mahana that captured our hearts. We first bought the condo next door to this one in 1977. Over the years, we returned to Maui and the Mahana for a month every summer.

For our children, it was a second home. Now young adults, they still love coming back every chance they can. Once you have been to the Mahana, you’ll want to come back too!

We fell in love with the Mahana in 1977. We were walking along the beach. The sun was setting between the islands of Lanai and Molokai. It was the most amazing sight! We turned around and saw Mahana. We knew right then and there it was our place. For us it was the view and the view and the view! We bought our first Mahana condo (#818) then. We bought our 2nd Mahana condo (#708) in 2001 and this one (#819) from long-term residents in 2004.

For us it’s a home away from home. In winter we love watching the whales, in summer it’s the dolphins and turtles. I love watching the dawn come up over the ocean. My husband is mesmerized by the stars. We all enjoy walking or jogging on the beach, swimming and snorkeling in the crystal clear blue water, exploring all the other nearby beaches, Kapalua Bay, Napili Bay, Fleming Beach, Honolua Bay. We also love going to the Farmers market for fresh papaya and mangos and finding local fish to grill back at the Mahana. It’s the majesty of the ocean and the mountains. It’s the trade winds and the friendly people. It’s something else, totally special that is just impossible to describe. You have to come to Maui and the Mahana and you will experience it yourself!
