The host's instructions and communication were excellent. The home is exactly as advertised: beautiful inside and out, in an ideal location close to hiking trails. It has a sweet and welcoming feeling and I can't wait to return.

This cabin surpassed all of our expectations! Hands down the cutest, coziest, and most comfortable cabin I have ever visited. The host was very responsive, the check-in process was simple, and the cabin was an absolute dream! We enjoyed the hot tub, it was very clean and hot! We had fires in the fireplace every night while we watched Christmas movies. And we got peanuts from the village market and fed all of the beautiful grey squirrels and birds around the back deck. After leaving, we all talked about making this an annual destination because we loved it so much!

We had a very comfy stay! We brought our own firewood and groceries for quick meals. Bedrooms very cozy and warm. It was the perfect storybook setting for us to write for our album. Hosts were very communicative and instructions very clear.

It was home away from home. The home has a great special energy to it , and peaceful look on the inside and outside MAKES IT A HOME AWAY FROM HOME.This is the 3rd or 4th time we been here . We absolutely love it! Next visit I will bring my kids. Usually, it is only me and my wife. But I will make it a point to bring my kids for the experience.

This cabin was amazing! The rooms were super comfortable and full space a wonderful Jacuzzi, perfect fireplace, and great porch.

We arrived to a filthy place. The housekeeper hadn't come. Dirty slept in sheets and bedding. Towels unwashed. Shower didn't look like it had ever been cleaned. Kitchen Faucet was broken off so no kitchen sink available. Cell phones don't work there so we drove into town got service and got the owners voice mail. We decided to leave and find other accommodations.

Everything with this property was 5 stars, with one exception, the TV. The service is thru Spectrum. I'll admit that I am technically challenged , but it took me hours trying to figure out how to operate it. The remote control was very strange and very unresponsive to the TV. There was no volume control on either the remote or even the TV itself. On some channels it was so loud it hurt our ears. Very frustrating and annoying. Except for the TV everything else was great, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Property was as advertised. If you want a cozy cabin tucked away in a quiet area of Idyllwild this would be an excellent choice. We only used 1 of the 3 bedrooms and had no problem sleeping (mattress quality is always one of my biggest concerns). Grounds are well kept and we used the hot tub every evening after our hikes. A short drive into town and to the major trail heads. Check in was seamless and everything worked in the cabin.

It doesn’t matter where you are there are only good views from this place. We really enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful landscaping.

Absolutely wonderful

We lucked out with a snow weekend. It was magical- the location was great a quiet neighborhood-hot tub was clean and kept hot for us to use the 1st night. The cute little clawfoot tub was a little too short but for kids it would be perfect for sure!! I loved how cozy everything felt I think the couch might need to be updated soon the bed was very comfortable I would have liked to burn wood in the fireplace but can understand about mess and fire risks. The duraflame log just wasn’t quite the same. I didn’t find the microwave until the last day it’s above the oven in the cupboard I’m short so I wouldn’t have been safely able to use it anyway owner was quick to respond to all our questions (only a few) I plan on renting again in the summer or fall with a group of friends to experience all the magic the property has to offer

Beautiful Storybook Home

Property looked great online, but exterior was dirty, many light fixtures were either improperly wired, flickering lights or missing light blubs, unsafe to walk around after dark. Pots and pans in kitchen were advertised, however they were the non-stick variety with most significantly scratched making them unsafe to use. TV was new and not registered to owner, requiring renter to create an account with Samsung to use TV. Major inconvenience.
