Come experience a quiet getaway in the mountains! Enjoy sunny mornings on the back deck sipping coffee and long afternoons on the shady front porch watching the wildlife. When the weather turns cold, snuggle up in front of the large stone fireplace or fire up the potbelly stove. Take a short stroll to town or to one of the many nearby trails. Perfect for families or couples, our cabin offers everything you need to enjoy a memorable time slowing down and communing with nature. Property has a fully fenced yard so pups are able to wander around!

What a wonderful experience. The cabin was even better in person than it shows in the pictures. It was extremely clean and sticked with everything needed fora great stay. It was warm and coxy, the beds were comfortable, and it was very close to the village center for shopping and dining. The host provided everything we needed along with great recommendations for great food and hiking.We would definitely go back to this cabin.

We have been coming to Idyllwild for years and this has to be our favorite cabin we’ve stayed at yet. It exceeded our expectations. It was incredibly clean, cozy, and updated. The pictures do not do justice. The entire property is fenced in and the big front yard made us feel like we had a ton of privacy inside of the house. The street was very quiet and within walking distance to some great hikes. Looking forward to booking this place again for our next Idyllwild stay!

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend in September at this cozy little place. We were 3 girlfriends looking for a quick getaway from San Diego. The rustic cabin is located just a few minutes drive from the heart of Idyllwild. The neighborhood is quiet and very quaint. The best feature about the house is the front porch, we enjoyed sitting out there with wine and cheese in the early evenings. The back patio area is also very nice. The kitchen is well stocked, with all the needed cookware, we even baked a pie on our first evening. It’s nice that they have spices, cooking oil, and coffee/tea as well. It’s a short walk to Alpaca Coffee house for morning specialty coffee drinks and also a short walk to Manzanita Cantina for great Mexican food. The bedrooms are roomy and bathrooms stocked with bodywash, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, etc. We lit the fireplace in the Living Room and played board games that were also provided. It’s like the owners really thought of everything. Once you receive the house rules, you’ll see just how detailed they are about making sure your stay has everything you need. The host messaged us to check in and make sure everything was ok. We did some shopping in town, did some nearby hiking at the Idyllwild Nature Center, did some wine tasting, and saw some live music. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Idyllwild experience.

What a beautiful, well-appointed home. It had everything we needed, plenty of space, lovely decor. The outdoor area was lovely with many fruit trees, games and places to sit and relax. Overall we had the perfect time and my father-in-law could not stop raving about how lovely the property was.

Excellent stady

Loved the yard. Well secured and perfect for my small pup. House is very well equipped. This place looks like a well loved cabin that the owners might use often-which means it is very well stocked. Very thoughtful of the owner / manager to offer a late checkout when I did not ask for it. It is a plus if you like dogs..most of the decorations are portraits of pups!

Nice stay in Idylwild

Great place to stay. Beautiful porch and yard. Yard (both front and back) was completely enclosed giving the property a compound like feeling and allowed us to let our dog roam around without worrying about cars. The property was clean and well appointed with plenty of kitchen items. We truly enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay here again.

Perfectly peaceful

Great place to stay! Everything was perfect and just what we were looking for. Super clean and had everything and anything you could need to make it a smooth trip. The yard was perfect for our fur baby, she ran and played and enjoyed the out doors just as much as we did if not more. We had to reach out to the owner for something small and they responded immediately. We highly recommend this beautiful peaceful getaway.

Where do I even begin? From the moment we arrived, everything about this stay was perfect. Our host went above and beyond—friendly, thoughtful, and incredibly responsive. You can tell they truly care about the guest experience, and it shows in every little detail.The house itself? Stunning. Immaculately clean, cozy, and filled with charm. We spent our evenings enjoying fires in the beautiful fireplace, playing board games, and laughing together as a family with the crisp mountain air as our proverbial backdrop. It felt like something out of a movie.All three bedrooms were wonderful—comfortable, inviting, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the town. The girls loved the bunk beds and turned their room into a little adventure haven. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed: spices, oils, cooking utensils, and even extras we didn’t expect. It was a dream for anyone who enjoys cooking on vacation.The yard was spacious and peaceful—perfect for morning coffee or afternoon lounging—and the location couldn’t have been better. We fell in love with the town, too—so welcoming and full of charm.Oh, and the firewood! There was so much provided, and we made the most of it. Relaxing Weekend Away

This home was exactly as advertised. Very clean & charming. Walking distance to the village & very quiet neighborhood, which was really nice. We had six adults & there was plenty of room for everyone & never felt crowded. Our 2 dogs had a blast running around & since it was a fully fenced yard, it was nice that we could let them out & not worry about them!!! We'll definitely be visiting this property again!!!!

Charming & Cozy

This home was perfect for pur needs. Close to town and an enclosed yard perfect for our dog. Bedding in the master was very comfortable and we just loved the heated tile floors in tge guest bathroom. Overall, a welcoming place to stay.

Family get away

Location is great, close to town, but quiet setting on large completely fenced yard. We had my daughters dog with us, so that was a plus. Everything was very nice, owner is very responsive. Will definitely return. Highly recommend!

Wonderful escape

I booked the cabin for a “girls weekend” with a friend. It was the perfect place to recharge and reconnect. The cabin is cozy and very well maintained. We had my friend’s small dogs and they loved exploring the front and back yard. I can only imagine it must be amazing to stay there in the he winter.

Mountain Cool Down Trip

Meeting at your cabin was just what we needed. Two couples - (siblings) one from Lake Havasu and the other from Riverside. and two dogs. Although it was warmer than we thought it would be, it was cooler than at our homes. We had such a nice visit. The dogs loved explorin the safety of the enclosed yard. We talked, cooked, we sat out on the porch just catching up, and took turns in the porch swing. We watched TV and movies...just relaxed and had meaningful family time in the comfort of your lovely cabin. Thank you for hosting us. It was renewing!

Great house and location

We thought the house was charming. The kitchen was well-provisioned with nice appliances. The bathrooms were updated. Loved the fireplace, with all the wood already cut and provided (didn't try the wood-burning stove). The fenced yard was quite large enough for our dogs to run around freely and explore. And the location was nice - a short walk to the campground and various trails, and just down the road from the town. We would definitely stay here again.
