Ski Snowbird! Iron Blosam Efficiency Unit - Across the Street from Wilbere Lift

Our family has been coming to Iron Blosam since the 1970's. This is a timeshare unit and we do not rent it often and so just one review from last year. The Condo is Unit 1126 North Efficiency. Includes One Full Sized Bed and One Full Sized Fold Out Couch. Walk across the street to the Wilbere Lift and put your skis on! Complex features an outdoor pool that is heated and indoor hot tub and exercise room as well as our favorite Wildflower Restaurant. Location

We enjoyed the easy access of Iron Blosam. You take a flight of stairs and cross street to access Snowbird slopes. Staff is very friendly. Hot tubes, heated outdoor pool with view, sauna & steam room access. Nice restaurant and bar onsite. Fully equipped kitchen and overall great ski crash pad. We had a great time on 7th annual father/son ski trip..

Wonderful Stay at Iron Blossam

Rooms are a bit dated, but very functional. Staff was amazing. Helpful, happy, the environment was awesome. Ate pizza at the Wildflower the first night 50% off from 4-6 PM. It was delicious! Skiing and snow were good. Took the shuttle over to Cliff Lodge for the Spa. I highly recommend a day over there even if just for Yoga, pool, and steam rooms. Massage was wonderful.

Snowbird gem

The Iron Blosam has everything you could need for a family ski trip - full kitchen, space to store skis, hot chocolate, fireplace in the lounge, hot tub, pool, gym...even a game room for kids. Plus the amazing location walking distance from the main base and across the street from a lift (meaning basically ski in/ski out). The apartment itself was spacious and had plenty of room for clothes, eating, lounging, and sleeping. We didn't need it but the sofabed could accommodate additional guests. The shower was hot and had good pressure. There is a great restaurant in the building plus restaurants in each of the buildings nearby. Great for a break from cooking. The property also has parking but you don't really need your car. The property staff is amazingly helpful and you can even print your snowbird lift tickets right in the lobby. My only piece of advice to a future guest would be to bring a multi pronged charging cable because there are not a ton of outlets in the room to charge multiple devices.

We have been going to Snowbird and staying at the Iron Blosam for almost 40 years. It is the perfect location for hardcore skiers who want to be close to the mountain.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Quick 30-40 min access from Salt Lake City Airport with clear roads. Can stay here and easily drive to Park City, Alta, Deer Valley, Brighton, Solitude and more if you choose to but Snowbird is the most challenging skiing we have found.
