We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful home. We visited in September 2026 to take in the fall foliage. The location was excellent. It was only a short trip into Fairplay when we needed supplies. Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful. The morning when we were to check out, I woke up suffering from a health ailment that was going to make it extremely difficult to travel. I messaged our host and was so relieved when they made arrangements for us to stay one more day. I am so grateful especially since I had to spend much of the day in bed. My only issue with the home (which is more of a personal preference) was the hardness of two of the beds, but we solved that problem with mattress toppers.

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay this summer! Beautiful weather! Close to 14ers that the family was hiking. They were able to get in five! Beware of altitude if you are not used to it. You will be staying over 10000 feet. Road up to is rough, but we took a minivan up it. Just be slow. Alma has an interesting store Al-Mart with an interesting history. Breckenridge is not far away if you are looking for shopping. We loved staying here!

Awesome place! Had an issue with the hot water in upstairs shower, but that was resolved quickly. Would stay again!

Clean,Spacious and Private

We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was very clean and loved the communication. The communication was clear and we loved the privacy that the location offered. The only downside was the big dogs being in the driveway and they don't seem shy at all.

Great property, enjoyed our stay!!!

We stayed for almost a week to take our Jeep on some off-road trails and enjoy the surrounding communities. Had a great time and enjoyed the property. Everything was very clean, very well stocked, and was a beautiful place to stay.

Beautiful Cabin

Beautiful cabin at a very peaceful location. House had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fireplace, sledding in the driveway, and even saw few foxes and a moose. We would abaolutely recommend this cabin!

We had a great stay. We would stay there again! It was a great place to get away from our everyday lives. If i didnt have to leave the house, i didnt. But if you are with people who want to see things, it wasnt too far from other little towns.

Family Vacation

The cabin was beautiful and cozy. Very well stocked with towels, blankets, and spices for cooking. Fully stocked with dishes and pots and pans. Lots of Games for the family. The owners were quick to respond and was very kind to accommodate last minute family coming in.

Accommodated our group of 6 adults very well. Home was clean with plenty of dishes and utensils for eating in. Outdoor deck seating is always a must for renting home in the mountains, and this home met that with an outdoor dining set. Communication with host was clear and easy.

Beautiful place

It is a beautiful house well maintained with everything you need to cook and enjoy the snow in the mountains. The only thing I would improve is the humidity in the house when we arrived the humidifier was empty and humidity was below 20%, I would recommend having someone checking the humidifier and prepared before guests would arrive.
