Breathtaking Views! This gorgeous custom log home has so much to offer! Mountain views including Mount Sherman and Mount Sheridan from the wrap-around deck as well as from the many windows in the home! Three bedrooms including a main floor master suite! Open floor-plan in kitchen, dining and family room! The family room boasts a floor to ceiling stone fireplace to keep you warm along with the radiant flooring! Upstairs has two bedrooms, a full bath and additional space in the loft which also has large windows to enjoy the views! Great space for your family and of course your dogs are welcome with an additional pet fee. Located on 2 acres. A beautiful piece of mountain paradise! 5 star reviews on other platforms.

Please note that we are at 10,300 ft altitude. Please take care of yourself and make sure you are equipped to handle this altitude. You will need 4WD to access this property for most of the fall and spring and all of the winter. Roads can periodically close in the area in the winter. Please pay close attention around your trip and plan accordingly.

This home is pet-friendly, but you must alert us if you're bringing a pet. We charge a $50 pet fee per trip. If you have allergies, you're probably better off staying at another property. We do have the best cleaning crew around, but use your best judgement.

You MUST be at least 25 years of age to book with us.

Please note, due to our extreme fire danger, the fireplace will be locked off and not accessible in the summer/early fall during our highest fire risk.

ABSOLUTELY NO FIRES ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY. ANY SMOKING OR OPEN FIRES WILL RESULT IN A $500 FINE!

Absolutely stunning. The house was immaculate. This was my fourth year in a row staying here and this place never disappoints. Great location with great views. The homeowner was very accommodating with great communication. I would highly recommend this house.

We absolutely loved our stay in Fairplay! The cabin was cozy, beautifully maintained, and came well stocked with everything we needed. The view was absolutely stunning — one of the most beautiful we’ve seen. It was perfectly located just outside of town, so we felt tucked away in the wilderness but still only about 10 minutes from downtown. Danae was a wonderful host, very accommodating, and quick to respond to any questions we had. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area — especially if you’re bringing your dog!

This was an amazing getaway stay. Walking into the house automatically felt calming! The check in and out processes were straight forward and all information was provided well ahead of time. We took advantage of the back deck as much as we could with the views and the light breeze it was perfect August weather. The kitchen is fully stocked with many pots, pans, utensils, you name it! We will definitely be back!

Mountain Retreat

This mountain house in Fairplay was a wonderful getaway for our family. Beautiful, clean, and a responsive host. Stay cozy by the fireplace or take the 20 minute drive to Breckenridge. Highly recommend!

Outstanding Cabin/Home

The property was exceptional and down to every little detail we like. To start off, the cabin was up in the woods and away from the hustle, but close enough to run 6min into town for groceries, restaurants and a little bit of shopping. The beds were very comfortable, with a ton of extra pillows and blankets. They had everything you needed to cook, clean, do laundry, start a fire and plenty of fresh towels with all the bathroom necessities. The drive up and down to the cabin from town we were able to see a moose, mule deer and elk. The view was better than we could imagine and the deck wrapped around to create awesome view points. We walked down the hill to the woods with the kids, played games in the upstairs play area. We would 100 come back and stay here.

Amazing Cabin with spectacular views

The photos are spot on-exactly as pictured and it is as wonderful as it is presented. Beautiful woodwork throughout and holds a wonderful mountain log cabin ambiance. The windows and french doors ensure you never lose the breathtaking views regardless of the weather. Incredibly and thoughtfully well appointed. This cabin is wonderful for families and enjoying time together!

Awesome cabin and location

Sept in Fairplay

After driving through Fairplay many times on our way to and from other locations, we decided to give a stay a try. We had a wonderful time. The location is beautiful, the property wonderful and as advertised. Our dogs didn’t want to leave (and neither did we)! Had good luck fishing at Montgomery Reservoir too. The aspens were starting to turn and will be gorgeous in another week. We are thinking about coming for a month next year to get away from the summer heat and humidity of Nebraska.

What a wonderful family stay we had at this cabin outside of FairPlay, Colorado. Firstly , the craftsmanship of the cabin was top notch. The layout is perfect for a family with all ages. The entire house was beyond immaculate. Every surface and corner was sparkling clean. I had to ask a few questions to the host and she replied quickly. In every drawer or cabinet was something else supplied to make our stay more comfortable. Highly recommend ! Thank you for opening your home to our family.

The property was exactly as described. We were so grateful to be able to bring and kennel our pups. This house and the view are beautiful. We were able to relax and yet be close to so much to do. We will definitely be staying here again!

Welcome to our home! We are Danae and Nathan and are both Colorado natives. Our house in Fairplay is a long term dream that we have had for at least a decade! We were so lucky to have found our place and are glad to share it with others. I am a homeschool mom for our two daughters and my husband is a computer engineer. We have 5 dogs and are always grateful to have a place where we can travel with them. We are happy to provide the same convenience to other families. We have been hosting guests at our Georgetown house since 2016 and were finally able to buy this place at the end of 2020. We are excited to have another property to offer with the same level of commitment to quality as we have at our other home.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

When we saw this house we fell in love with the views. Also, on 2 acres we feel the peacefulness of being away from our busy life. But being only 2 miles to town, we are also close to restaurants and the grocery store so we have easy access to some of the conveniences we are used to. The inside of the house is so inviting and comfortable. We love just being with the family and watching the snowstorms or sunsets from inside. Comfy beds and great conversation in a fully stocked kitchen makes this our home away from home.
