Excellent host. House clean and lots of accessories.Few points need addressing but not major.It is on quite a steep hill so walking to shops etc can be hard for older people or with disabilities issues.Beautiful views from the balcony.

It was a very nice house with a beautiful view over the sea. Lovely pool area and nice supermarket facility. Nice with tyrer bathrooms when you are 7-8 people. I recommend it very much for your next holiday.

Spacious house with magnificent view

We had a wonderful week in the property. House is situated in a very peaceful and safe area. Big house with lots of space for everyone and only a short, 10-15 minutes walk from the beach. Magnificent view from the terrace and very nice pool. Property manager was super nice, helpful and easily reachable.

Fantastic Stay

We had a lovely stay, the property was amazing and the location was great. The supermarket was 5 mins walk away and the beach was only 10 mins walk. The bus stop was 5 mins walk, to Torrevieja. The host (Veerie) was very helpful and told us everything we needed to know, she was also on hand if we needed her. We definitely recommend this property and would return in the future.

Nice view

Everything was ok, plenty of space to 7 people and 3 bathrooms was very good. With two balconies you can choose sun or shadow. In kitchen is all you need to make food if you want. Aview from balcony is marvellous 💖

Great view

This property has a fantastic view and is very spacious both inside and out. We enjoyed our stay and the local beach is definitely the best in the immediate area. Local restaurants are a bit limited but the supermarket is very close....the hill definitely keeps you fit and the holiday lbs down. I'd have preferred to know of the additional 125e cleaning and linen fee upfront, as this adds to the booking cost.

Lovey terrace and view

We spent two weeks in the house and had a really good time. The apartment was clean and the views were great! Checking in and out was easy and the owner was friendly and helpful. There was plenty of space for eight adults inside and on the terrace. Car recommended but not required. The apartment is a bit old-fashioned, but the price/quality is good. We had a succesful vacation.

Lovely family holiday

Just returned from a 2 week family holiday in La Mata . The duplex was fantastic - really well equipped and had everything you could need - the weather was very hot so we headed to the beach most days which is about a 15 min walk away -the beach chairs and umbrellas came in very handy . The seafront has a variety of restaurants and further along opposite the beach in La Mata there are more beach bars . On a Friday there is a huge market in Torrevieja which is worth a visit . Bus services are regular once you work out the timetable. The communication with the hosts was excellent- thank you :) Had a lovely time and would highly recommend.

Fantastic stay!

The property was lovely! Perfect size terrace with stunning views. Plenty of room for us all. (Travelled as a family of 7) The only downside and this is honestly just a little thing. The property is at the top of a steep hill. Which resulted in a few more taxis thank we would have liked but it in no way ruined our stay. 15 minute walk to beach and the restaurants it had to offer. Supermarket at the bottom of the hill which is very convenient. Our host on arrival was so helpful and really friendly and was even kind enough to help me with a few questions about the area during my stay. Nothing was a problem. If I ever visit Torrevieja again, I’d definitely stay here again.

We rented this house for our stay in Torrevieja and unfortunately can't recommend it based on our experience.The biggest issue was a woodlice infestation on the basement level of the property, crawling on the walls, clothes and in the bed. What made this worse was how it was handled: the owners waited until just 20 minutes before our arrival to tell us. By that point we had no realistic way to change our plans or find alternative accommodation. This is not something that should be disclosed at the last minute. It's something that should have been fully resolved before any guests were allowed to check in.Beyond that, the property showed clear signs of not being properly prepared or maintained for our stay. The BBQ was left dirty and hadn't been cleaned since whoever used it last. The parasol outside was broken and unusable, which was a shame given how much time we'd hoped to spend outdoors. The coffee machine didn't work at all, which was frustrating for something we expected to use daily. The outdoor sofa was visibly dirty, making the outside seating area unpleasant to use.None of these smaller issues would have been dealbreakers on their own. But taken together, and especially combined with the woodlice problem, they painted a picture of a property that hadn't been checked or cleaned properly between bookings. For the price we paid, we expected a much higher standard.We wouldn't book this property again, and we'd think carefully before recommending it to others

We would, however, like to add some context, as your review mentions the issues you experienced but does not reflect the solutions that were offered and the actions we took to resolve them during your stay. Regarding the woodlice issue, shortly before your arrival, the communal areas of the urbanization were fumigated. Unfortunately, this caused the insects to move into the lower-floor hallway of the property, something that was completely unexpected and beyond our control. As soon as we became aware of the situation, we immediately contacted the community of owners and, rather than waiting for them to act, we also took immediate action ourselves to find the quickest possible solution. We offered to arrange for a professional pest control company to fumigate the property. However, this treatment required the house to be vacated for at least eight hours. As you were staying with a young baby, you understandably felt this was not a practical option, and we completely respected your decision. We also responded promptly to the other concerns you raised. We came to clean the BBQ, replaced the faulty coffee machine, changed the broken parasol, and addressed the remaining maintenance issues within the following one to two days, as far as was possible during your stay. We fully understand that these unexpected circumstances affected your experience, and we sincerely regret that. We always strive to provide our guests with a comfortable stay and, when unforeseen situations arise, we make every effort to resolve them as quickly as possible. We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best in your future travels.

Great place to stay.

Fantastic place to stay for as well a small as a large company. Houses easily 8 persons. Yes, the house was in some aspects a little bit worn but the general feeling was that you stayed at an old friends house. 4 bedrooms with air-condition. Lots of household items. All kitchen-ware you need. Beach chaires. Games. Childrens toys. Great internet (>250 mbps). TV with channels in every possible language. Fantastic view from terrace overlooking the sea. Nice poolarea. Close to large supermarket. About 10 minutes to La Mata beach. Yes, a bit hilly but seriously, if you are in decent health, no problem. Great landlord, Veerle who take care of any possible problem asap. All in all, I can really recommend this place and I'm hoping to return again soon.

What a view!

Fantastic views, very good location if you have a car (unsure about public transport) and the couple of issues experienced at the property were quickly and adequately resolved. We liked having access to the beach equipment but would have liked to have beach towels to use as we had to buy our own. The main large terrace had morning sun. Showers were powerful and neighbours next door were pleasant. Some of the furniture at the property could do with updating, particularly the beds and mattresses which we found to be quite uncomfortable in all rooms except master bedroom. Wi-Fi worked fine upstairs but not so well in the downstairs bedrooms. Had some intermittent internet related issues with TV. All in all we enjoyed our stay at La Vagueda.

Super sejour aout 2023

Nous avons séjourné à Torrevieja 2 semaines. Nous étions 5 adultes et 1 ado de 15 ado. Nous avons apprécié l emplacement, la vue est magnifique !!!! Les commerces sont très proches mais une voiture est indispensable à notre avis. Notre arrivée s'est très bien passée la proprietaire est adorable ,très sympathique et elle nous a meme commandé le taxi pour retourner à l aeoroport !!! Le logement est spacieux et propre ! La piscine est grande et très agreable compte tenu des températures !! Nous recommandons cette location et nous y reviendrons !!!

bonne vacances

nous avons passé un bon séjour dans la maison , dommage que pour revenir de la plage à pieds cela grimpe dur pour les enfants pas trop de problème mais moi qui ai des problèmes de santé dur dur. Autrement coin très sympa et la plage parfaite.

Vues exceptionnelles

Appartement très bien équipé, bien situé, calme (au mois d'octobre) vue splendide sur la mer et sur la piscine. 3 terrasses bien exposées pour profiter du soleil à tout moment. Tout s'est très bien déroulé de la remise des clés jusqu'au départ. Nous reviendrons...

Maison spacieuse

Très bon séjour dans cette maison qui est très bien située, à proximité des commerces et restaurants, les deux terrasses à l’opposées l’une de l’autre permettant de déjeuner et diner dehors selon la position du soleil, le petit cabanon nous a permis de stocker poussette etc. La piscine de la résidence est propre, elle est grande avec un petit bassin pour les enfants pour leur plus grand bonheur. Seul petit bémol la clim se trouve l’étage de ce fait il fait chaud en cette saison de forte chaleur dans la grande chambre au rdc. Quant à l’équipe très réactive et disponible sur place! Merci à elles!

bonne location

la villa bien situé assez grande avec toutes les commodités. Endroit très calme,du fait que la residence n'était pas loué entièrement nous avons bien profité de la piscine,pratiquement pour nous seul.
