EKAHI VILLAGE -9C - Emplacement, emplacement, emplacement - 200 pieds de la piscine et de l'océan

L'Ekahi Village 9C est situé dans le Lower Village, à seulement 50 mètres de la piscine et du pavillon au bord de l'océan.
Une rénovation complète de cette propriété vient d'être achevée en juin 2019. C'est un remodelage haut de gamme élégamment meublé. Des prix réduits sont en place Post Remodel (août à octobre) en raison de la rénovation du pavillon .. La piscine face à la mer et 3 autres piscines seront ouvertes pendant la rénovation du pavillon. Il y aura également un accès à la plage. C'est la zone du pavillon elle-même qui sera clôturée avec une barrière anti-poussière et ne sera pas utilisable pendant la rénovation. LES PRIX RÉDUITS PENDANT CE REMOVEL PAVILLON SERONT INDIQUÉS DANS LE PRIX COTÉ.

This home was perfect!

From the comfortable beds, furniture to the beautifully appointed and stocked home. This place was perfect for my husband and me. The listing is spot on and I remember seeing a negative review about the air-conditioning - that was not our experience whatsoever. The mini-splits are wonderful for cooling when the breezes are not blowing, They cool quickly and can be turned on and off. Thank you Joan for a wonderful stay. Mahalo

Excellent location

We’ve stayed in the Ekahi Village numerous times. This unit is very nice with an excellent location. If we have any suggestion it would be to include more of the basics such as toilet paper, garbage bags, laundry pods, basic spices. Also, our 26 yr old son was very uncomfortable on the sofa bed in the living room. After a couple of nights, he just slept on the sofa which wasn’t ideal. We stayed for a week and paid extra for the 3rd person. This worked out to almost $500/night all in. Otherwise, it was very enjoyable.

Glad you enjoyed the location of 9C along with its recent remodel and Thank You for taking the time to write this review. With the sofa bed it is less than 2 years old and has a new foam mattress. I generally just recommend sofa beds for young children because they are never as comfortable as a bed. For a 26 yr old he most likely would have preferred a regular bed. Not sure what invoices you are looking at because my invoices, which include all the VRBO costs, plus the $15 a day extra person charge comes to significantly less than $500 a day unless you are including your car rental as well. Nice place, great location, no view. But we knew this going in. We booked the property during the COVID pandemic and chose the condo based on the relatively flexible cancellation terms.

A Stay in 9C Ekahi

Congratulations to Joan for her magical transformation of this unit. My fav is her new refrigerator which has a 24 hr. producing ice maker. Thanks for the beautiful remodel of 9C. Perfect location.

Nice property, nice location

Residence had everything I needed, was very close to the pool and the beach, and was conveniently located between Kihei and Wailea. I will definitely be going back!

A home away from home!

This spacious and well located one bedroom suite has been recently renovated. Great views from a balcony large enough to BBQ and seat four comfortably. The suite was very clean and tastefully decorated. It was very well equipped - ample kitchen dishes, pots & gadgets, 2 beach chairs & umbrella, and startup supplies (soap, paper towels, etc). The booking process and suite access on arrival were effortless. Would definitely choose this suite again next time in Maui.

Maui Stay

Property was nice and close to beach and pool, but does not have a true view of ocean. Too many nicknacks around the condo. Also owner controlled the air conditioner because "she didn't want a large electrical bill", so the condo was way too hot in afternoon and evening. Specifically, the AC thermostat is locked at a high temperature, the remote to control it is locked away, the thermostat is not adjustable by guests, and the AC system is on a 4 or 6 hour timer (so it shuts down before you return from daily activities). For as much as one pays per night, one should be able to control the AC in their unit. Controllable-thermostats is standard hotel-practice at any price-point. This is the problem with renting from VRBO: too many owner inconsistencies and idiosyncrasies.

Ekahi Village 9C has just undergone a High End complete remodel. It is advertised as a Partial Ocean View and that description is accurate. The unit has two air conditioning handlers. One in the bedroom and one in the living room. The temperature is set at 72 degrees in both areas which is more than adequate for dehumidifying and cooling the unit. It also cools the room down quickly when turned on. There is no reason to be running both units all day when a guest is away for the day. Based on your review it sounds like that is what you would have preferred. Unfortunately on Maui running A/C units continually at low temperatures is not cost effective. For your next visit you might want to try the 5 star Ocean Front Hotels that start right next door to us. The cost is more than double for just a room but it would give you the ability to set the temperature as low as you like.

Amazing place, amazing stay!

We had a wonderful stay in 9C at Ekahi Village! The condo was recently renovated with beautiful high end finishing and was very well equipped with everything needed for a great beach holiday. It was spacious with a very comfortable bed and excellent AC system. Location to the beach access, pool and new pavillion was perfect...you couldn’t ask for a better spot! Joan was very accommodating and available For questions at any time during our stay. We can’t wait to return!

Perfect location

Nicely renovated condo with nice view of the ocean from the terrace. Perfectly located. Few steps from a wonderful beach. Walkable distance to great restaurants such as the Andaz Hotel, 5 Palms and shopping center. Just a few minutes drive to Kihei or Makena beach. The host was very nice and responsive. We definitely recommend this place and we will be back. Luca

Hi John Glad you enjoyed your stay in 9C. This unit will undergo a complete renovation beginning April 1, 2019. It was rented for a short period before the renovation at a very discounted rate due to its original condition. It is clean but dated and the pictures I posted on line gave you an idea of what to expect. Hopefully you can return again after the reno is completed because everything will be new. Mahalo, Joan

I have been traveling to Maui for many years. It is my favorite travel location with beauty that is unmatched. We bought our first condo at Ekahi Village in 2010. Our family loved the Wailea area and in 2019 we purchased 9C.

It is low density with lots of open space and blooming flowers.
Set on 35 acres it offers peace and tranquility.
In front is Keawakapu Beach, an uncrowded beach lined with multi million homes.

Large Ocean Front Pool and Pavilion, plus 3 additional pools. There are also a Paddle Board Court and Shuffle Board. Walking Distance to all the 5 Star Hotels in Wailea and Wailea Shopping Center.
The Wailea Emerald and Gold Golf Courses are just minutes away.
