I’m sorry to hear that your stay did not live up to expectations. Just to confirm, the property is not a “doublewide”. It is a site built home that was built around 1970 and has been added on to since then. It has also undergone renovation in the last few years including the kitchen and both bathrooms. We do spray for pests so spiders are rare, but it does happen on a rare occasion. It is a lakehouse after all. The cleaners are instructed to leave 3 rolls of paper towels so that must have been an over site that should not happen again. I will certainly re-visit the status of our towels to make sure they are more than adequate for our future guests. Hey Samye. We really appreciate the feedback and are glad that overall you enjoyed your stay. We certainly have taken note about your biggest concern and will address the issue with pest control. The house is an older house but to address your concern about the window A/C units, those were put in before central air was put in. We decided to keep those as back up in case of a central air problem or personal preference for those sleeping in a specific room. We have been through 4 plus seasons and the central air has never had any issue keeping it cool enough or warm enough on its own. As far as the untimely response you your question concerning the type of coffee machine, I apologize. Unfortunately for some reason my initial attempt to reply did not go through. When I noticed the reply did not post and I sent another response, but that was the day after your check in and I’m sorry for any inconvenience that may have caused.
