Great location

We love the locations. Quick walk to the beach and many restaurants. The only drawback were noisy neighbors upstairs stomping around at all hours.

Great beach getaway

The complex was easy to find, and had everything that we needed. It was quiet, yet so convenient that we could walk to nearly everything (beach, boardwalk, restaurants, shops). Everything we needed was already in the unit, and the host was incredibly friendly and communicative. Highly recommend!

Quick Last Minute Beach Trip

We enjoyed our quick last minute beach trip. Only suggestion is put a tv in the queen sized bedroom and the bottom bunk squeaks everytime you move or turn over.

The condo was clean and close to all of our favorite places. Only complaint was the people above us let their kids run around, starting at 5am.

Already want to come back!!

Nice and clean. Comfortable and walking distance to beach and boardwalk. We literally never drove much. Everything you need is in walking distance. The farmers market at the lake and they even had a family movie night. We loved our vacation.

Perfect Location

My husband, myself, and two young boys (11mo & 2) had a great stay! The unit had everything we needed for our week at the beach. The pack n play and highchair at the property were a huge plus so I didn't have to travel with them!! The location was absolutely perfect: the beach was super close, walking distance to the lake, park, coffee shops, and restaurants. We would definitely stay again!

Labor Day Week Stay at CB

Property had great amenties including a pool with a 2 block walk to the beach. The only problem we encountered was the floors should have been mopped as part of the cleaning process and were not. Everything else was very clean and ready dy for us.

carolina beach

the condo was fine. Pool was green and the outside of the pool area hasnt neen cleaned in some time. The balcony faces the strip which was good, enjoyed the view of all that was happening. The condo itself was fine no issues, it was really hot so there was a slight musty smell but when AC kicked in it wasnt noticeable. everything is in walking distance to the strip/ beach and carnival area. Overall was great,just the pool needs work. no fault of the Host.

Fantastic

First time at CB so wasn't sure about the layout and how this location would be. We hit the jackpot. Firstly, after I emailed the host, Dale, the First time, I received a reply in about 2 minutes & that never stopped. I'm sure I drove him crazy with questions but he never let me know it because he was always prompt & polite. I could write a page on his hospitality by itself. If you're a very picky person I'm sure you could find small things with this rental just as you could if you came to stay at my home. Nothing that mattered. It's about a 5 minute walk over to beach, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Quiet location, pool was nice. It says 1 br but it has bunk beds & can easily & comfortably handle a couple teenagers or smaller children. Here's the facts.... Great location Extremely clean, very cool air Great water pressure & hot water. Full kitchen & utensils Great balcony view Easily accessible Great communication Couldnt have been any better.. if we go back to CB I will without hesitation stay here again. Don't miss out.

Never again or with SaltWater Realestate

During our first night we noticed the ceiling was leaking near the water heater & wires in the closet. It must have been going on for quite some time as the wood was completely saturated, but we only noticed once the it started leaking into the hallway. We immediately called and agreed to have maintenance come over at 9 the next morning even though it was our daughter’s birthday. After the maintenance visit, we were assured Dale would be in contact and would offer a fair resolution for the inconvenience and that they would be in contact with us shortly to follow up on next steps to resolve the leak. I reached out to him several times that day for a follow up but did not hear back until the later afternoon. Around 5pm I followed up again to see what the status was. He said they were waiting on the owners upstairs which was understandable though not communicated, and around 6pm offered to prorate our stay. We live several hours away and leaving at 6pm was not possible with such short notice when he had all day to make the same offer & allow us time to make accommodations. The next day we noticed the leak (that had not been fixed) was continuing and went through the walls into the room our kids were staying in. The floor by the electrical outlet was soaked & brand new birthday presents were ruined. He said refunding was no longer an option since he offered for us to leave the night before. Would not recommend staying here or any listings through his company SaltWater Realestate

Hey Allison, thanks for the feedback. We apologize that you did encounter a minor issue that began during your stay. However, both maintenance teams and professional vendors alike along with the HOA of the complex itself verified that the condensate drip isolated only to the air handler closet was of minor in nature and thusly, they (not us) did not push to escalate. Despite the minor inconvenience, as you stated above we offered you the opportunity to depart early with a refund if you deemed the issue serious enough. You made the decision to stay for the duration presumably for that exact reason. I'm unsure how providing you with alternatives that fell completely up to your decision and discretion can be directed towards anyone else who assisted you daily during your stay if being honest. After departure, we had a guest check-in same day with no concern and later received a request from you for a full refund despite a complete stay to which, as advised by VRBO was not granted. That was based on you being offered alternatives of which you chose the best option for your party and factually, the assessment shared above was deemed and substantiated as largely inaccurate. I do understand that no-one appreciates inconveniences large or small. All we could do was provide you alternatives to chose from and empower you with all options presentable which as verified above, we had done. I wish you luck on your future adventures!

Great location, adequate unit

The unit is simple but effective. We had what we needed for the stay. The queen bed was not super comfortable. I know that the mattresses need to be protected but using a plastic cover made a very sweaty night. We were only there for a few nights so it was tolerable. The location is amazing and we walked every where we wanted to go.

Bring white noise maker

Only significant issue we had was the volume of upstairs unit. We believe not intentional but the movement around in the middle of the night echoed below. Downloaded a white noise app and once cranked up a bit and ear plugs for my wife, no issues.

Great location and beach

The beach town is great. Amazing restaurants in walking distance. Our condo was perfect for 2 adults and 2 children, would not recommend anymore than that. We did encounter a few people enjoying " adult swimming" at night which was uncomfortable being that our room over looked the pool. VENT cleaners came during our trip as we were about to each lunch and left our food and bathrooms filthy with black dust. It was very inconvenient and gross.
