We loved staying at this property! It had all the amenities we needed to make this a very comfortable stay. It was reasonably priced and the owners were very friendly. Will definitely stay here again when we return

Wonderful experience start to finish. House was lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. We saw deer every day and even a few elk on the property.

This hacienda was huge! Every bedroom was exceptionally spacious and so were the bathrooms. For 7 people in the house it never felt crowded. Location was excellent, private and quiet. Working with Sandra was very pleasant and she was very communicative. We would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous Colorado hacienda

We came for a family reunion and were able to enjoy a very comfortable stay not to mention the perfect view and spectacular property! Not far from the towns coffee shops at all!😃 Definitely going to book this one again!

Wonderful house with lots of room!

This is a fantastic property with lots of room both inside and out! The home is beautifully decorated and well appointed with everything you need. The kitchen is well outfitted as are all of the bedrooms and baths. The rec room and hot tub were a plus. We will look for this property again if we come back to the area!

BV Home

We all really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It was so convenient to downtown BV and the views were magnificent from the balconies. Our host Sandra also couldn't have been nicer and accommodating. We hope to stay here again next year!

What a great place and host!

This place has the stunning views of Mt Princeton, and wild life (deers). Great place for walks, near by all the great skiing destinations and hot springs. One of the best host we have ever come across. Strongly recommend this place.

Best Family Vacation Ever!

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful property in a stunning setting. The owners provide a well-appointed and spacious home that suits multi-generational families. And Buena Vista is a great destination that offers plenty of activities and has ample restaurants and shops. Overall, the hacienda was a great place to stay and we would return again, as soon as possible.

Perfect Location

Wonderful family home

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious, well furnished and stocked with the necessities. It is in a great location just north of town with fabulous views. The owners were very responsive to any communications and made us feel very welcome during our stay. We would definitely stay there again if we are in the area and are happy to recommend it to others.

Outstanding house - incredible location

The house is great - sprawling, large rooms, big open spaces, very comfortable and very well stocked with everything you’d need or want. The grounds are fantastic, with a charming, beautiful and spacious enclosed garden. The location is stupendous, very close to BV town and with sweeping views of valleys and mountains on all sides. It’s also very quiet and private. Great place to stay!

Great Space!

AMAZING!

The property was perfect for us. My wife and I brought our son and his girlfriend for vacation and felt like we had our own ranch, but we were so close to town and other activities (hiking, whitewater rafting, hot springs, etc.). Sandra was very communicative and helpful throughout our visit
we were there over the 4th of July so she told us about the celebrations and we could even see the fireworks from the house!

Pleasant Stay in Buena Vista

We had a great week at Wagon Trail Hacienda. The house is at least 500 ft from any other dwellings and has great views, especially of Mt Princeton to the southwest. The house is large and grand with many rooms to spread out in. The place was very clean and the kitchen was reasonably set up for cooking The grill worked well and the rear garden and hot tub were delightful. We went whitewater rafting and made day trips to Leadville and Salida. A few nice hikes along the Arkansas River and the mountains as well as a trip to the hot springs made this a good adventure for all.

They are native Colorado residents who can advise you on near by trails and off- the-beaten path get aways. They purchased this property to preserve the natural mesa area and want to share the magnificent views with guests.

The house is on 37 acres of land, insuring privacy, unobstructed 360 degree views, and a lovely garden the attracts birds, butterflies, hummingbirds and other pollinators.
The balconies are great for star gazing, enjoying sunrises and sunsets or just being quiet and alone.
