Marsh-front Cottage où la rivière Broad commence - avec une vue magnifique!

Ce chalet de deux étages est un chez-soi. Une suite principale est située à l'étage avec une salle de bain privée et une vue surélevée du fleuve Broad et de son vaste marais (plus d'un kilomètre de large). Situé dans un développement paisible et calme qui ne compte que 40 cottages dans cette petite enclave de propriétaires épris d’art et soucieux de l’environnement. La chambre principale inférieure a sa propre véranda privée, une cuisine à service complet et une buanderie avec beaucoup de rangement. Cet emplacement est un formidable point de départ pour visiter les villes historiques de Savannah, de Hilton Head, de Bluffton, de Beaufort et de Charleston, ainsi que des sites uniques dans la région de Lowcountry en Caroline du Sud. Une chambre en bas peut accueillir 3 personnes, un canapé-lit dans le salon peut accueillir 1-2 personnes et la suite parentale pour 2 personnes.

A fantastic place to stay in the Lowlands of South Carolina!

This house is in impeccable order, with beautiful furniture and all the amenities of a true home. The owner is a delightful, friendly person who clearly enjoys managing this home. My wife and I had a quiet, peaceful time. Coffee on the back deck as the sun rises over the march was a real treat every morning. Did I mention the birds?

Excellent place for Low Country Lounging

Highly recommend this property and this host. We will definitely book this property again and with this host. Beautiful Low Country surroundings on the marsh/river. You can sit inside or outside comfortably and watch the tide come and go. Calming, soothing, healing, recharge, peaceful. Quality accommodations and tasteful décor with attention to details. Clean and host provides clean quality bedlinens and towels etc. Property and Host are amazing!

Relaxing

House/cabin is everything it says on the listing. Clean and comfortable with great views of the marsh/river. Owner is organized and has everything prepared with hints and ideas for things to do in the surrounding area for a variety of interest. It was a nice change of pace that we look forward to returning to someday ....

Manager was attentive without being intrusive. We had the misfortune of having the air conditioner go out. Manager offered another house, but we chose to stay put, so manager brought 3 good fans to keep us cool. So all was good

What a Hidden Gem!

Wow. This hidden gem was the most peaceful place our family has ever stayed. The backyard beauty included a stunning marsh view off the roomy deck - a great place where we started the day off with coffee; and a great place we used for laughter and games at dusk. The house was beautiful inside. And Jan, the host, was absolutely wonderful and hospitable. We couldn't have had a better time!

Relaxing romantic cottage

The owner was lovely . The VRBO app was problematic and not working properly so luckily the owner stepped in to communicate details of my stay directly. My husband and I travel frequently on the pga tour for our business so we often utilize other third parties. Having a great home with a great owner makes the stay stress free so we can focus on family time and work . We were grateful for Janis and the lovely marsh view. As for VRBO , we are not very satisfied. The customer service experience has not been helpful and sub par. The fees they charge guests and owners are absurd. The length of time they hold a refundable deposit of A LOT of money , is also disgusting, 2 weeks! The owner reviewed me within a day or 2, so no reason to place that amount on one’s card. I’ll also add to my list of issues, the review process that limits freedom of speech . Funny how customer service isn’t effective, yet the barriers to stating ones experience are fully there .

Great accommodation

Our stay at Knowles Island Plantation was fabulous. The marsh front cottage was one of the absolute best places we’ve ever stayed anywhere. It’s off the beaten path and away from all the hustle and bustle of busy areas and that was a big plus. We look forward to staying there again when visiting the Beaufort area.
