Located in downtown Beaufort’s Historic District our Cara May cottage is charming and relaxing. Small house living in the northwest quadrant. Featuring one bedroom just big enough for the queen bed. On suite full bathroom. Kitchen with full refrigerator w freezer, two burner convection cooktop, small oven and microwave. Enjoy your morning coffee using the Keurig or French press and sit at the green breakfast nook while catching up on the morning news. WiFi and smart tv provided. Stackable washer dryer provided. Enjoy the front porch after a long day of exploring. We’re within walking distance (5 blocks to the bluff) to shops and restaurants on Bay St and a 25 minute drive to the beach at Hunting Island State park. Off street parking available for one vehicle off of the alley directly behind the cottage. On street parking for overflow parking is available one block away.

We had the absolute best stay at this cottage! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as pictured — if not better.The location truly cannot be beat. Being able to walk to downtown, explore the historic area, and enjoy the waterfront made the trip so relaxing and convenient. We loved starting our mornings with coffee and ending our evenings soaking in the charm of the neighborhood.Emily was an incredible host. Her communication was excellent — clear instructions, easy check-in, and quick responses made everything seamless. When a snowstorm unexpectedly impacted our original travel dates, she graciously allowed us to move our stay, which we were so thankful for. That flexibility and kindness truly made a difference and speaks volumes about the care she shows her guests.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, perfectly located getaway. Thank you, Emily, for such a wonderful stay!

My happy place

This was my second stay here and I got to enjoy it with my Husband. I will be back next year for my solo trip unless my Husband wants to join me as he wants to golf.

Great Cottage

We were in town for a wedding weekend. Cottage was perfect for our visit. Centrally located. Very clean!! Host thought of every detail.
