Grand quai et emplacement

Grande cabine située directement sur le lac Tims Ford. La cabine a été mise à jour et comprend une belle cuisine bien équipée ainsi qu'une terrasse (avec grill). Profitez de notre quai - pêchez, nagez et utilisez nos deux kayaks, une planche à pagaie et un canoë. Beaucoup d'espace pour attacher votre bateau à notre quai dans une crique principalement privée. Veuillez lire la section Accès invité pour plus de détails sur l'accès au lac.

La cabine est à deux étages. Une chambre avec lit queen bas et une autre chambre à l'étage avec deux lits jumeaux et un double. Cuisine, salle de bain, belle tanière (avec canapé-lit) et coin repas et une belle terrasse avec table et chaises et un barbecue à gaz. Empilez la laveuse et la sécheuse dans la maison. La cuisine a un réfrigérateur côte à côte avec glace et eau, lave-vaisselle et cuisinière. Veuillez noter - La cheminée est électrique.

Tims Ford est connu pour sa pêche à l'achigan à petite bouche. Bonne pêche à partir de notre quai également (apportez vos propres cannes et équipements).

Vous aurez accès au quai pour utiliser notre quai. Notre bateau sera sur un ascenseur (du 1er avril au 31 octobre) dans la glissade couverte, mais il y a beaucoup de place pour attacher votre bateau (découvert sauf en hiver, vous pouvez être couvert). Super natation sur le quai. De la cabane, la vue sur le lac est bloquée par les arbres en été mais assez ouverte en hiver. Notre quai est en bas d'une colline relativement raide avec un chemin pavé (100 mètres environ) et des marches (environ 50). Vous êtes invités à utiliser nos deux kayaks, canoë et planche à pagaie (pagaies fournies mais veuillez apporter vos propres gilets de sauvetage). Notre quartier dispose d'une rampe de mise à l'eau à laquelle vous aurez accès. Il y a aussi des moments où nous pouvons utiliser le quai en même temps, mais nous vous informerons à l'avance si nous y serons.

Winchester est à environ 10 minutes. Walmart, Kroger et autres commerces ainsi que des restaurants. Distillerie Jack Daniels environ 20-25 min.

Nous avons le WIFI et Direct Now TV. Il y a un téléviseur 32 "et un lecteur DVD que vous pouvez brancher pour les films. Nous avons des jeux.

On the Lake

We enjoyed our stay. Place was comfortable and had everything we needed- though we spent very little time in the house, because…The dock was fantastic- swimming and boating all day from a private dock that is just a short walk from the house! We loved being able to maximize our family fun time on the water!

Woodsy cabin and beautiful getaway

We had an amazing stay, and would recommend this to anyone looking for a little getaway. We fished from the dock, grilled dinner on the back deck while the some rain storms rolled through. If you have a boat with you, the dock is clean and well kept.

Check in was super easy, the property was clean and the owner was awesome! My son even left a stuffed animal and they shipped it back! The location is amazing and the hike down to the dock was steep like mentioned but for me and my sons, it wasn’t too bad like some made it out to be. The cove was amazing and I really liked how everything had a place. We will definitely recommend coming here and will stay again in the future!

Was off the beaten path. Nice but the neighbors was walking all over the property. Didn’t like that aspect.

Lake weekend

Beautiful cozy cabin. Everything there you need. Has kayak and canoe on the dock to use. (kayaks were a bit dirty from the standing water) Had a nice relaxing weekend.

Everything was as described. House was perfect for a weekend get-a-way. The only negative thing I can say is if you have any mobility issues the walk up and down to the boat dock is EXTREMLY steep. I am still recovering from both knee and hip replacements so it was difficult to do several times a day. Other than that it was a wonderful stay and we were very pleased with everything. The owner was quick to answer all questions and very easy to communicate with!

Relaxing and entertaining.

It was too chilly for us to fish. It would be a great summertime getaway. Lots of games and internet if you are stranded inside. We had a very relaxing weekend. The cabin was very well laid out with a cute kids loft.

This property is exactly as shown. The house is older but everything you want in a lake house. Super clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Loved being able to kayak every day and use the boat dock when we rented a boat. Owner was great to work with

Great place to stay

The house was just the right size for our family. We have 3 young kids ages 7,7,9. They loved being able to have their own space upstairs. We took our dog with us & it was the perfect place for him to be able to have some freedom to explore. The dock was private with great swimming. It also had a nice spot for catching bluegill. It had the feel of being remote but close enough to town for a Walmart run or a DoorDash dinner delivery. We really enjoyed our vacation here.

Peaceful getaway!

Had a wonderful stay at this property! The cabin is simple but clean and has the things needed to make the stay as enjoyable as possible! It's a steep walk to the dock, but once there, there are toys (paddle board, canoe, 2 kayaks) and a nice covered slip for a boat. The dock is wide enough to fish, swim or tie up another boat if desired. The cove is quiet and clean with only a few other docks inside. Lots of birds to watch and other wildlife to see. Absolutely loved everything about this property!

pleasant stay

I was a nice cozy cabin with everything we needed. The water access was much steeper than I expected. It was nice that it was partly paved and then mulched the rest of the way, but the climb back up the drive was rough. More pictures of this would be helpful to others (the reason for my 4 stars). Instead of the dock area, I enjoyed the back porch and the view while my guys were out for the day. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood.

Thanks for your comments. Yes, the path to the dock can be more of a challenge to some more than others. We try and be very specific in our description regarding the path to the dock as it's really hard to capture in pictures. It's also a very individual interpretation as most of our guests have not had concerns or issues regarding the hill. We do allow golf carts or UTV as well.

Quite getaway

Very quite and cozy. Equipped with every thing u need. Steep walk to the dock but we did get our exercise in lol. A slight musty smell when we first walked in. Was expecting a little more view of the lake.

As noted in our listing, the winter view of the lake is much more open but leaves block most of the view in the summer. Weekend event

Stayed at cabin for weekend event in Belvidere. All the conveniences of home plus a nice dock with a few toys. Great quiet location. Didn’t get to fish as much as we had hoped, but the owners binder had information for everything around town, food, groceries, entertainment, and even a lake/fishing map. Owner definitely took time to set up property well for guests, even labeling switches and printing signs for various objects/tasks. Would definitely stay again.

Laura and I purchased the cabin when our kids were two and four. We outgrew it a few years ago and built a larger home on the lake in the same neighborhood. We used the cabin as a guest house until 2018 when we decided to share this great experience on Tims Ford lake with others. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Great little cabin in the woods, directly on Tims Ford lake in a very private cove. Enjoy the use of our two kayaks, canoe and paddle board. We supply the paddles, but please bring your own life jackets if you plan to do lake activities. Wearing life jackets is the law when boating on the lake. Bring your fishing gear and fish from the dock, canoe or your boat. Our neighborhood has a boat ramp and locked parking lot to store your trailer. You will have access to our dock to fish, sun and hang out.
