Pelican Beach # 205 est un magnifique condo sur le sable avec une vue panoramique sur le golfe du Mexique. Le condo d'une chambre / deux salles de bains, récemment rénové, offre une chambre principale avec un lit king-size en mousse à mémoire de forme, une salle de bains privative et une télévision par cùble privée. Le couloir comporte des lits superposés en retrait - parfaits pour les plus jeunes de votre famille et une salle de bain complÚte supplémentaire.

La nouvelle cuisine est entiÚrement équipée avec une gamme complÚte, un réfrigérateur, un lave-vaisselle, un four micro-ondes, une cafetiÚre, un mixeur, des ustensiles de cuisine et de la vaisselle. EntiÚrement approvisionné en draps, serviettes et nombreux extras.

The chair rental company makes it so you cannot sit in your personal chairs anywhere but behind the rentals, so because we didn’t pay extra to rent their chairs and brought our own our view consisted of over a hundred rental chairs and umbrellas.

Above pool and near tiki hut so it was always very loud. Tiki hut had loud blaring music all day. Washer\dryer unit worked very poorly and took the entire night to dry one load of towels. White floor rug was VERY dirty. Furniture didn’t look old but was generously used. We will never come here again.

The condo was clean and very comfortable. It was a truly relaxing time with excellent views of the beach from the balcony. Location was within easy reach of excellent dining and shopping. Great experience!

Only thing I loved was the location of this rental. Everything was dirty. The patio furniture is completely rusted! The washer/dry combo is extremely hard to use and also had old clumps of hair and other disgusting stuff around rubber rim inside washer. The master bath that is far from master had black stuff coming out the tub drain as I was trying to fill the tub for my toddler to bathe. Couldn’t wait to go home! Thankful for the beach to be so close and extremely convenient. Staff as pleasant. Would be nice to owner to give this condo some TLC

Overall we had a good experience. There were problems with the elevators. If we would have been on an upper floor this would have caused some heartache, but this unit was on the 2nd floor so we used the stairs to avoid long elevator delays. The washer/ dryer machine in this unit was not great. It did the job, just not very well. There were no beach items for use in this unit. No chairs, towels, umbrella which would have been nice to have. The only other item missing was a pair of scissors. Otherwise the bed was comfortable the ac worked very well. We really liked being on the 2nd floor. Very convenient.

Great location and modern unit

We enjoyed the convenient location of this condo, and being on the second floor was a big plus since we did not have to wait on elevators. I also appreciated that the unit was updated and modern, which made our stay more comfortable.However, there were a few downsides. The condo was very dusty under the furniture and definitely in need of a deep clean. Another issue was the lack of communication. Maintenance personnel showed up unexpectedly to work inside the condo without any prior notice. I asked them to come back later, but when I messaged the host to confirm if work was scheduled, I never received a response. This made me feel very uncomfortable, especially since we were not informed about anyone entering the unit during our stay.

Just as advertised

Conveniently located and clean, mostly, the master bath shower curtain needs changing so we didn’t use it. Beach bar service was great! Good restaurants nearby!

Beautiful View!

Peggy and David were wonderful to work with. We loved the view and the great location. Bunk beds were a little small for teenage boys, but they still worked. Quiet building which is always nice when on vacation.

Things that need work

We had a great time in Destin. The room was OK. I was not happy with the master bathroom. There was mold on the back of the shower curtain. I took a shower curtain down. I went to the store and bought one and put one up. I took it down when I left and put your guys back up, but I was not too happy and there was still mold on it when I left. The top of the refrigerator was covered in dust. You could wipe your hand across it, and you could see the dust buildup on your hand and you could see where you wiped your hand across the top of the refrigerator. I believe one of the bath towels was pretty wore out and if I remember correctly, it had a couple little holes starting in it and I thought that was not good. All in all was not a bad day just a couple things that I was not happy with that when you pay this kind of money to travel down there in the high-end that you get things like this, that kind of upset you.

Loved our stay!

This place was just as described! It was very nice, comfortable, charming decor and extremely clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. The balcony was perfect for slow mornings w/ coffee and pretty views. It was located on the second floor, so we were able take the stairs & not have to wait for the elevator each time we went somewhere. The beach is close and beautiful. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Destin!

beautiful gulf

The property is a high rise condo building, 2nd floor with great gulf views. Very short, protected walk to the beach. The infinity outdoor pool is wonderful for anyone with mobility issues. The kitchen has everything you would need. Washer/dryer is convenient. The walk Owners are very responsive. Peggy helped us a couple of times when we had questions.Unit could use a chest of drawers in the bedroom for longer stays like our month long stay.Building is very close to grocery stores and restaurants and pharmacies. Front desk staff are really good and helpful and there is a food service on the property which is great for quick breakfasts and lunches. We would return to Pelican Beach Resort.

We really enjoyed our stay

The property was as advertised. The condo was clean and comfortable. We really liked that it was on the second floor, so access to the beach was just down one set of stairs, which kept us from having to use the elevator everytime we took our things to the beach. Highly recommend this rental.

Great host/horrible resort

Let me start by saying that both the host and the unit were fantastic. The unit was well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable week-long stay. However, we did find one issue: when we pulled out the sofa bed, we noticed that it hadn't been vacuumed under the cushions, and we had to clean up crumbs left by previous guests. The reason for my low ratings is not due to the host but rather the resort's rules and conditions, which I wish I had known about beforehand: Guests are not allowed to place their beach chairs near the water. Instead, you have to sit behind 5-6 rows of rental chairs, which blocked the airflow and made it quite miserable. We ended up driving to a public beach every day to be able to sit near the water without being asked to move. The resort is outdated and had a pervasive smell of rotting garbage. The bedroom is situated near the front door, and the noise from the hallway disturbed us all night, along with the hallway lights seeping through the shades. For as much as we paid, we should have unrestricted use of the beach. For this reason alone, I will not return to this resort.

Great stay.

We had a terrific stay. Only complaint was other tenants that were loud in the hallways outside but it is because there were a bunch of teenagers there for a baseball tournament. The unit was fantastic.

Our condo is a warm, inviting beach resort. The condo has a spacious living area for guests to gather watch TV, play games, and just spend time together. The building is only steps to the water, offers a wonderful restaurant, , fitness center, sauna, tennis courts, shuffleboard, large pool, hot tubs, kiddie pool, and covered parking. Pelican is so conveniently located to all the activities that Destin has to offer.
