I am hoping that potential guests will look at this terrible review and understand that sometimes people are just unhappy. James and his family were unfortunately at the cabin when a last minute building project was happening next door. We had no control over that and only found out the day before that there was any potential of work. I did inform James of the potential work as soon as I knew. I totally understand that it must have been unpleasant as the family with a baby, that did not leave the cabin much and the weather was rainy and colder at that time as well. We did not know the extent of their unhappiness until literally a month later when they left this horrible review. If a video of the workers was supplied the 1st day of their stay, we would have allowed them to leave with refund for the nights they didn't stay. A month later it is difficult to do that. The work next door was completed more than a month ago and this is a comment from our most recent guest: Your cabin is amazing. It is so comfortable and well thought out. Everywhere you want something to be it is down to the smallest details: outlets, night lights, flashlights etc. The beds were very comfortable. The WiFi was good for the teenagers. We enjoyed our stay very much. Just to clarify as well that the water is not dirty, it is community treated water from the lake. It has a bit of colour because of the minerals, and is actually very healthy. We supply a Santavia water filter jug that clears the water of the minerals so drinking water has no colour. Again, I am very sorry that James was unhappy and felt it so important to cause so much damage. These things happen sometime and hopefully subsequent and previous reviews will outweigh this one.
