This was a lovely home base for our myra canyon ride on the kettle valley trail. Such a beautiful view of the lake, comfortable beds, fun evenings on the deck and playing pool in the billiards room. A very friendly and helpful host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay! Allen was a great host and easy to communicate with. His place is clean, comfortable, and the perfect peaceful base for our trip to Kelowna. The location is ideal—tucked away in a great neighborhood, yet just a short drive to local wineries, farm markets, and Lakeshore. Highly recommend!

This Family-friendly location provided a fantastic view from the deck. All rooms were very clean, host was available for questions or concerns as needed & was very respectful of privacy; unfortunately pool was unavailable as we were a few weeks too early in the spring season for it to be accessible.

I did not realize it was open to the owners living space upstairs. He said he wasn’t going to be there but I really don’t know if someone is quiet upstairs… The fridge was off and unclean. We had to Lysol it out and wait for it to cool which was gross. Thankfully there was a tiny thermometer so I felt confident it was working eventually. But certain things like dirty mirrors and glass doors and windows was weird. The pool isn’t heated. My kids froze. But we were there for the beach. There was also a smell…

The location of the property was amazing!! The private pool and the interior were clean and exactly what we were expecting. Allen was wonderful to deal with. We will be coming back.

8/10While this was a beautiful and clean property the listing is not accurately advertised. The "private house" is a walkout basement with no secure separation between the host and guest (some stairs and a baby gate). Thankfully our host made arrangements to stay elsewhere during our stay. The pool is not heated so we couldn't swim for long periods of times, though we did enjoy just dipping our feet in. The views were spectacular when we could see them (Smokey). Just a heads up for anyone booking, both Google Maps and Apple maps does not take you to exact location of the house. This caused many issues with Ubers getting lost or cancelling. We ended up having to walk to the end of the street for picks ups. If you have a reservation or need to be somewhere at a specific time please allot extra time when ordering an uber or cab.

Overall the stay was ok. The patio was big with nice views of the lake and the pool table was a winner.However, this isn’t actually a fully enclosed private space. It’s the basement suite of a house however there is no door and lock separating the suite with the main house. We could hear each other and it was a bit awkward. In addition we didn’t realize there wasn’t a stove! Our fault as we didn’t closely read every item in the kitchen.The pool was also not heated which meant it was super cold and we weren’t able to just hang out in the pool as expected. That being said, Allen was responsive and the place was clean.

From the moment we walked in, we were surprised at the spaciousness and size of the rooms and the pool table from there it goes downhill. The kitchen has only a bar fridge no stove no hot plate no air fryer only a microwave. Card table and chairs very uncomfortable to sit at and wobbly table. There was a lack of heat and hot water and low water pressure in the shower that only seemed to improve marginally after speaking to the owner. Lack of privacy. NO DOOR SEPARATING THE SUITE FROM THE UPSTAIRS. Not sure how VRBO feels about this.Dishwasher was not emptied upon arrival. Limited coffee pods. Dirty coffee machine. Woken up at 6am by person upstairs talking on phone.

This property is gorgeous. It has a beautiful view of lake Okanagan and surrounding mountains. It’s located in a quiet neighbourhood that is a quick drive to most amenities. We loved having lunch at a local vineyard. Our host was very gracious and made us feel at home, including our pup. He cleaned and prepared the pool which was such a treat to experience on a hot afternoon. This vacation went too quickly and we hope to be back!
