Fantastic place to explore

Fantastic place to use as a base to explore the area! The place was as described and had a well equipped kitchen which made staying in easy. Only thing to flag, which is sadly out of the control of the hosts but one of the neighbouring houses has a large dog that roams freely and would often run after the car making the arrival sometimes unnerving.

Immaculate property with a fantastic view. It had everything we could want, the kitchen was extremely well appointed. Very quiet situation. It was very clean when we arrived, and the hot-tub was the icing on the cake.

Comfort and Wellness

We had a very enjoyable stay. The house is spacious and excellently equipped. The kitchen has everything you could wish for. The location at the end of a cul-de-sac is very peaceful. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna. A fantastic house in a wonderful setting.

Great location, beautiful views. The property was very well equipped, spacious. The town was just a 5 minute drive away with everything you needed. Fab place to relax, nice little walks around. Lovely holiday

Judith, you've exactly described the perfect experience at Chalet de Rollon! This OVO Network property is ideal to explore both the Aravis range and Lake Annecy. Thônes itself is full of surprises and activities for the whole family. The chalet is really well maintained since the owners are often around to enjoy the place. They have just added a great outdoor sauna that will surely be a hit in winter!

A lovely, spacious chalet with a beautiful view. There was everything you needed for a self catering holiday. La Clusaz is only a short drive away and there are several supermarkets a few minutes away. Sophie was very welcoming and informative. I would stay at this property again.

Thank you MAthew! Chalet de Rollon is a fantastic chalet to ski in the Aravis in winter, and discover Annecy and its lake in summer. Thônes is little known but high value when you really want to enjoy both the lake and the mountains. We hope to welcome you back in an OVO Network property.

Amazing week at Chalet de Rollon

Just got home from an amazing week at Chalet de Rollon! We stayed with a total of 6 adults and a baby, there was plenty of space for us all and the chalet has everything you could possibly want and need! Sophie was extremely helpful and replied quickly with any queries we had. The area is full of things to do and the views are out of this world. Annecy is a drive away but definitely worth it and it’s just a short walk into Thônes. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for a fantastic holiday

Peaceful mountain retreat

The website pictures do not accurately represent the actual situation, including cleanliness and room sizes. The location is very quiet with a beautiful mountain view. It is advisable to take pictures before entering the property to prevent any deductions from your deposit without prior notice.

A Relaxing and Well-Equipped Retreat After a Motorbike Adventure

We stayed for a week at Chalet de Rollon with five friends during a motorcycle holiday, and it was absolutely fantastic. The chalet is spacious, super tidy, and clean — exactly what you'd expect from a top Airbnb. We made great use of the jacuzzi and sauna, which were a real treat after long days of riding. The surroundings are peaceful and perfect for unwinding. There’s also a supermarket within walking distance, which was very convenient for our daily groceries. Communication with our host, Sophie, was smooth — she responded quickly and kindly. During our stay, we experienced a minor leak in the downstairs bedroom, and by the next day a fresh set of sheets was already waiting — top-notch service! In short, highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, tranquillity, and beautiful surroundings. We’ll definitely be back!

We will likely be back again for a fourth visit!

We have stayed at Chalet de Rollon three times now and absolutely love it here. The house is spacious and modern, equipped with everything you could need whilst on holiday. The bedrooms are comfy and the bathrooms are beautiful with the main bathroom having twin glass sinks, a spa-bath and a great shower. The second bedroom also has a shower and sink. Outside, we have made use of the bbq, hot-tub and sauna. There is parking for about 3 cars including a garage that has facilities for drying ski equipment too. The town of Thones is within walking distance (less than a mile away) and has a supermarket, pharmacy, fuel station, car wash, various shops, banks, bars etc. There is also a Saturday market. The beautiful town of Annecy and its lake is about 20 minutes away by car and is well worth a visit or three! The views in this area are stunning and it's well worth going up to the Col des Aravis to admit the views of Mt Blanc while having a coffee or a meal at one of the two restaurants. This became a regular haunt of ours this year. The Col de la Forclaz near Talloire has the most stunning views of Lake Annecy. In all, this is the perfect location for up to nine people to have a wonderful holiday. We will likely be back again for a fourth visit!

Le chalet est parfais, très bien agencé et très bien équipé pour un regroupement familial. La prestation d’accueil ainsi que la propreté sont parfaites. Le lieu est très agréable, environnement propice à de très belles balades et un séjour ressourçant et reposant. C’est sur nous y reviendrons.

Superbe séjour

Un chalet très agréable à vivre dans un quartier tranquille, chacun avait son espace. Le seul hic a été le jacuzzi, qui n'avait pas été vider, nettoyer avant notre arrivée et du coup une eau trouble avec de l'écume. Heureusement que nous avions des gens qui s'y connaissait pour rattraper l'affaire. La personne qui nous accueilli était très agréable et de bon conseil. A refaire.

Bonjour Maryon, merci pour votre retour concernant le chalet de Rollon, à Thônes. L'équipe OVO Network est ravie que cette belle propriété ait pu vous accueillir et vous permettre de découvrir cette jolie ville entre le lac d'Annecy et les montagnes des Aravis. Nous avons fait remonter vos remarques concernant le jacuzzi à Sophie la manager, qui est très expérimentée et à l'écoute des vacanciers. Si nécessaire elle n'hésite pas à vidanger le jacuzzi entre deux groupes pour éviter tout désagrément et risque d'infection dermatologique, quitte à ce que l'équipement ne soit pas forcément disponible le jour même de l'arrivée (il y a 6 heures de battement entre 2 séjours pour remettre tout en ordre). La prochaine fois, n'hésitez pas à la contacter car elle sera en mesure de faire le nécessaire pour arranger la situation et rectifier le ph de l'eau !
