Vermont Location Ferme - Calme, privé, famille, vacances

Paisible, privé, invitant, spacieux 200 années ancienne ferme de 114 acres dans la Green Mountain National Forest-Goshen (central) Vermont. Beaucoup de mises à jour, des meubles anciens, propre, soignée et trÚs relaxant: quatre chambres, une reine au premier étage. Profitez de la grande cheminée en pierre dans le salon, salle à manger, salle de bain complÚte / douche, et une grande cuisine de campagne entiÚrement équipée avec cellier. A l'étage, il ya une griffe pied baignoire dans salle de bain ainsi que trois chambres: une grande reine, deux jumeaux et un grand lit double. Télévision par cùble, un placard plein de jeu, traßneaux, patinoire, golf, étangs voisins. Louer par le week-end, semaine ou mois. Location de vacances semaines disponibles. Great spot toute saison!

Les vues sont spectaculaires depuis le porche de pierre soleil 3-saison. Seule une autre maison est visible de notre propriĂ©tĂ©. Des sentiers de randonnĂ©e, cueillette de bleuets, les Ă©toiles les plus brillantes de la Terre, ainsi que les riviĂšres et les Ă©tangs abondent. Wildlife frĂ©quemment aperçus dans nos prairies. La ville voisine de Brandon possĂšde de nombreuses galeries connues, librairie, boutiques et un restaurant français excellent. À toute saison, cette est un merveilleux lieu de vacances en famille. Pour les skieurs, nous sommes prĂšs de Middlebury Snow Bowl, une petite montagne de famille avec un terrain variĂ©. A 30 minutes en voiture vous mĂšnera Ă  Pico et Killington, et environ 40 minutes vous mĂšnera Ă  Mad River et Sugarbush. RandonnĂ©e pĂ©destre et de raquette Ă  droite par la porte sur la connexion des sentiers dans tout l'Ă©tablissement. Golf, Ă©quitation et baignade Ă  proximitĂ©.

We had a wonderful week at Leslie's home. The house is a classic old New England with lots of charm and comforts. The house is extremely well-furnished, very quiet and a short drive to Brandon. The house is also close to dirt roads that make for enjoyable walking.Leslie was very helpful and easy to communicate with before and during our stay. And that's important to me.

We did enjoy our stay. It was a little unexpected to have the refrigerator unplugged and empty and for the pantry to be so bare. It would have been nice to have coffee and filters and maybe something for our first breakfast, but we enjoyed going to the market and going to Rosie’s for breakfast. The property was beautiful and the house felt like a home once we settled in.Thank you for sharing.

Perfect Vermont Getaway

We really enjoyed staying at this historic centrally located property. There were plenty of options for sleeping, sitting, and getting outside in the fresh air. We enjoyed looking for wildlife in the surrounding fields and walking down to the river or pond in the morning. Because of the location right near Brandon, we were able to visit a new part of the state each day and still make it back around dusk. There was no cell coverage at the house as advertised, which we were okay with, but once out on the main road we could make calls/text. We all grew up in the country so the well and septic didn't pose an issue for us and once we got up to speed on the local recycling/trash/compost rules we were good to go. The biggest issues we had really had nothing to do with the house itself but the GPS would occasionally try to bring us to the house the back way (22 miles on a dirt road through national forest in the dark...no thanks!) and we didn't realize how many stores/restaurants would be closed on Monday and Tuesday. Other than that we had a great time and highly recommend the house and a visit to Vermont in the fall!

Relaxation in the Green Mountains

We had a wonderful stay at this property recently. The location is quite lovely, along a quiet gravel road in an elevated area with amazing views. Really, it's totally worth it just to relax in the airy enclosed porch and take it all in (extra bonus when the sun comes out and warms up the stone floor of the porch!) The house had plenty of room for us, and Leslie was a very gracious host! It gives us great joy to see this beautiful Vermont historic house cared for so that it can continue to provide joy to Vermont travelers for years to come.

Charming old Vermont farmhouse

The location was great, for hiking and exploring in that corner of Vermont in mid-September. Views of the mountains were beautiful. Nearby Brandon is an interesting town with many historic houses, and a wonderful, popular restaurant: Cafe Provence. The house is larger than two people needed but plenty comfortable. It's an antique house, but with good internet.

Ideal country relaxation

Our family had a lovely week staying at this Vermont farmhouse in the midst of the Green Mountains. We walked in and immediately felt like we were home. Whether sitting in the sunroom reading, playing games in the parlor, or playing the piano from the Stephen Foster songbook in the entryway, we loved everything about this special place.

Eclipse stay

Leslie’s cozy farmhouse was the perfect spot for our group to stay before heading to see the eclipse. The snow was a nice bonus - our dogs loved it the most!

House was great

Overall Leslie's house is great! However, I will not be back again because Leslie tried to extort my group for an additional $125 cleaning fee. She contacted me repeatedly over email and text message. It required me to get in contact with VRBO, and spend many hours communicating with them and her, and put a damper on the trip. Another note -- you will have to make your own beds. When we arrived, none of the beds had linens on them.

Relaxing!

Timbertop is the most charming antique farmhouse nestled in the mountains. We had a wonderfully relaxing week and found the house welcoming and comfortable. We cooked and ate and lounged about, explored Brandon and the surrounding area. Highly recommend staying here.

Lovely, peaceful place

This was just a wonderfully peaceful place. Listening to the tree frogs, watching the fireflies, and stargazing was a great reset. My twin granddaughters enjoyed exploring the brook and picking (and eating) the blueberries. The home itself is like a trip in the way back machine to a time when things were much simpler. The wi-fi was not wonderful which made working a bit difficult and this is an old home. While I thought that was awesome, be prepared for all that goes along with that.

Scenic, peaceful getaway

Lovely old farmhouse, well equipped for cooking, and meticulously cleaned. We enjoyed hanging out together on the sun porch, walking along the old dirt road, and watching the fireflies in the evening. We did not see a moose, but hope springs eternal.

Disappointed to not find a place on the VRBO website to ask for refunds. See below 1) Two nights cancelled by owner -- @ least $514.00 2) Plus five hours lost with no power -- $54.00 3) Explain $420 additional guest fee -- refund or decrease:; 2 nights = zero; four nights = seven; 1 night = three 4) Taxes reduced with decreased expenses 5) Host Fees??? -- Please explain and decrease proportionately 6) One hour lost with checkout moved up one hour - $10.80 At owner's last minute request we provided all sheets and towels -- washer and dryer not working. Also cleaned air filter. House nicely appointed. Plenty of kitchen supplies. Beds comfortable. Thermostat = antique. Hammers, tools maintenance items, painting materials need to be removed from living area and locked up. Great location, great views. Quiet and peaceful. Appreciate snow plowing.

Relaxing with a view

Leslie’s home is the perfect escape from the busy day to day. The home is full of charm, location perfect to explore the surrounding areas and the views so relaxing from the house. The wifi is very good as well, there were no issues when we had to work.

Convenient and comfortable.

Convenient and comfortable. we were very impressed with the cleanliness of this home . It was very comfortable and relaxing, and met all our needs. So much better than staying in a motel or a hotel. Directions were very convenient for everything we needed to do, at the house. We were just 10 minutes away from our friends home in Brandon, and the wedding venue in Brandon. So happy with our choice. PS also fun to stay in the old farmhouse.

As a child, I spent many happy days at this property and then my children also did. Making flower headbands in the meadows was a favorite, or hiking up the meadow for the view, travelling to many nearby waterfalls to swim. Working around my teaching schedule, we visit as often as we can!
