Cette nouvelle unité de plage est magnifique et moderne. Il a la climatisation centrale, 2 lits king, 1 lit queen et un canapé-lit. La cuisine est entièrement équipée, télévision à écran plat dans chaque chambre avec câble et Wi-Fi, grande cour, barbecue et table avec parasol à l'extérieur pour votre usage. Tous les draps et serviettes inclus. Parking privé dans la rue pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 4 véhicules. Le propriétaire vous fournit également un laissez-passer gratuit pour le stationnement sur la plage. À distance de marche de la plage et du centre-ville. Jill keeps her vrbo very clean! She has the gift of hospitality and worked with our family of 6 when I made a mistake in booking- she fixed it! Super friendly and helpful!!

Exceptionally clean, fit our needs perfectly! And free beach parking was a bonus.

Great property. My only complaint was there was no outdoor shower or hose to clean off from the beach and no place to hang wet towels or bathing suits. Obviously very minor inconvenience!

Perfect for our vacation

We had a fabulous time. Jill supplied everything we needed especially in the kitchen. Utensils and pots and pans were in great shape. Everything was very clean. It was wonderful that we had parking right at the beach! No need to carry our beach items for blocks. Definitely will come back next year!

Kitchen was stocked extremely well

Kitchen was stocked very well. The place was very clean and comfortable. The host was very easy to communicate with. It was a bonus that we had our own parking space. The bathroom door did not latch or lock. There was quite a bit of noise from upstairs unit.

I’m glad you had a great vacation in Old Orchard Beach . I stopped by and chatted with your husband and he said everything was great ! I wish he would have mentioned the door issue as it could have been easily adjusted . I also would have been more than happy to ask other guests to quiet down if you needed me to .

Wouldn’t again

Unfortunately I wouldn’t stay again. The neighbor hood was cute and quiet!!! The owner accused me of not having permission to bring my dog. I offered to send a text of our prior conversation she declined and soon “found” the message! Work was done on the house most of the time of our stay. One evening the owners drove by 4 times by the premises . Maybe not the right line of work to be in if you don’t trust people. We wouldn’t rent again for obvious reasons.

Guest did not pay her required pet fee UPON ARRIVAL for her emotional support animal . Her dog was left alone in the unit and was barking for long periods of time causing me to bring it to her attention . At that point a negative review was guaranteed . What she failed to mention was seeing a hard working family making a few minor repairs outside the property to keep it nice for guests . This is something very common of all property owners !! What she also didn’t know is we just finished housing a family who lost their home to a fire and needed a nice place to stay . They had just left the morning of her arrival and we were cleaning the unit above her for next guests arrival ! Her or her guests were not even at the unit for a majority of the time my cleaning crew were doing their job . The next guests upstairs checked in on her day 2 so we were not there working for her whole stay . In regards to her comment about me driving by 4 times, I guess she is not an owner of rental property . It had nothing to do with her or her guests . I live on the street ! Property owners are always checking their property out to make sure there is nothing that needs attention . It could be a simple check to make sure all the umbrellas are tied up due to wind or storm conditions, trash overflow , parking problems or anything else needing attention . All my other guests are happy to see me and my crew around . IT MEANS WE CARE !!

Family vacation

We stay in OOB every year. A short 10 min walk to the beach and the center was not this cottage, it was definitely more like 24 min to the center and 15 to the beach with a walk up a hill. But she did provide a free parking pass to the beach. The main issue for me was the ants!!! There were little ants everywhere constantly! And I didn’t bother telling her because there were little ant trap’s everywhere so there was nothing else she was going to be able to do I’m sure, it was just really gross, on the stove while cooking, crawling on your feet in the kitchen, just everywhere! Also, for a 3 bdrm cottage there were no mirrors! It’s hard to get ready to go out at night with 4 women in a cottage and no mirrors!

Notre séjour fut très agréable. L'appartement fut exactement comme décrit dans l'annonce. La propriétaire Jill très gentille et très disponible. Un des atouts fut le stationnement près de la plage, avec la passe fournie par la propriétaire. .Seul bemol le manque de linges à vaisselle. Merci Jill

Vacances 2023 Old Orchard

Condo avec 3 grandes chambres spacieuses. Appartement très propre, on a manqué de rien. Avec l’accès gratuit pour la plage, aucun problème de stationnement. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine.

We had a great stay at this property! There was plenty of room. We loved the ac system. The free parking, just steps away from the beach was priceless! The beds are very comfortable. We would stay again and highly recommend!

Enjoyable Stay

Enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and clean unit which was a 10 minute walk to the beach. Things that I wish I would have known ahead of time that may be helpful to future renters: -This rental is non-refundable (I didn't read the listing thoroughly). -Once booked, you have to supply the names of all those staying. The contract states if someone sleeps over not on the list, you are evicted for the remainder of your stay. Contract also states owner can enter property at any time. (this did not occur). The owner was present on the property when we checked in. -There is only dinnerware for 6 people (we had 8) -There was no vegetable peeler, whisk, and only 1 large serving spoon. Bring your own spices, tin-foil, plastic wrap, etc. -Only 2 rolls of toilet paper are supplied (they were gone in 2 days). Additional paper towels and trash bags would be useful too. -Trash pick up is actually Friday. Best to put your trash out early Friday morning vs. Thursday night if you want to avoid the seagulls ripping through your trashbags. -Clearer instructions on trash pick-up, how to use the t.v. (couldn't figure out how to watch regular channels), and the air conditioner (we froze for 2 days until we figured out how to turn down and turn off) would have been helpful. -To be able to lock the bathroom door, you need to lift up on the door to latch it shut first. -Shower nozzle is tempermental, but once you get it the right temp there is plenty of hot water and good water pressure. -check out is 10am, however staff were taking out our leftover trash, recyclables, etc. outside starting at 9:15. At 9:35, the cleaning lady was sitting at our picnic table smoking a cigarette. By 9:45, the whole crew including owner were at the picnic table. This felt intrusive and that we were being rushed. All in all, it WAS a wonderful stay and we were quite satisfied. -
