This is the one! Driftwood is Old Orchard Beach’s latest Vacation rental addition! Newly renovated and excited to help you create forever memories by the Sea! This 2+ bedroom (bonus room will sleep 2) is 600 feet from the sand (yup, we measured). Parking for 5 cars, and .8 miles from the OOB Pier. Perfect for multi-families going in together or parents who just want their kids on a separate level. If you want the OOB excitement you got it. Want quiet instead? Just stay and enjoy the sea.

Check in was very easy. Jonathan checked in periodically throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well. Perfect location within walking distance of the pier and beach. 10/10 we plan to return!

We loved the Drift Wood house!

The house was cozy with lots plenty of space, very hospitable owner, we booked it again for next year as soon as we arrived!

I stayed with a very large group. It was tight but we didn’t spend a tremendous amount of time at the house so we managed just fine. The house was fairly clean except for a few things here and there. The location was great, walking distance from the beach and beach town! I would stay here again for sure, we had a great time!

Lovely location. Lots of room to hang out. Two kitchens. Bunk room is actually full sized bottom and top with another twin trundle under it. Could fit 5 kids in that one room. Quiet away from the bars and amusement park. Two block walk to the awesome Sandy beach.

Great place

The place was great, easy access to the beach , the owner Jonathan went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and brought us a portable AC unit to help with the extreme heat wave we were having..Definitely would stay at the Driftwood again

Wonderful Place

It is a great location. Short distance from the beach. It was great that there was a full kitchen upstairs. We had a wonderful time and look forward to going again.

Jonathan was a fantastic host. This was our 2nd time staying here with our 6 children of all ages. Check in was incredibly easy - house was clean and well stocked with all the "things" needed. Plenty of parking- easy access to beach and carnival. Jonathan was super easy to communicate with and responded quickly to all of my questions! He provided great advice and recommendations for day trips which we took full advantage of and wasnso happy we did. Core memories were made thanks to a thoughtful local host! Looking forward to visiting next year!

Impressed with the home when we pulled into driveway...amazed when we walked inside!! Clean, comfortable and ready for family stay. Quiet area convenient to the beach. Jonathan was a fantastic host....in daily contact and quick to respond to any questions or needs. Definitely recommended place to stay!

Nice location close to the beach. House was very clean. The upstairs set up was perfect for my teenage Grandchildren they had their own space. Jonathan was very friendly and helpful with area attractions. We would stay again.

Great location so close to the beach!

The Driftwood is beautifully decorated with beach themed decor. 2 kitchens stocked with just about anything you need to prepare a meal, plus a large grill. We were very comfortable in the 3 bedrooms. House was very clean and cozy. John is an amazing host and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Can't wait to come back to OOB and the Driftwood. Everything is within walking distance from the house but far enough away from the craziness of the Pier and you dont have to worry about parking.

Summer vacation

We had a wonderful stay. Close to beach and walking distance to town. Only con is no coffee pot. They had a French press which was great. But we are a coffee family. We would stay here again.

Family's Maine fun vacation

Fantastic Stay

Me and a group of friends who have never spent much time in New England/Maine stayed for a week, and it was a phenomenal time! Waking up and walking to the beach every morning was a major highlight, but the hospitality and attentiveness of the property owner, Jonathan, was also a highlight. Super helpful and was a great resource for the local area. And the property was clean, quaint, and solid location for a vacation. Highly recommend!

The best location

We got in extremely late and finding it was very easy. There were 9 adults which made this perfect for us. The patio was awesome to sit out and enjoy the coffee. The 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach was awesome. The host was wonderful to work with and great about keeping us informed about the check in and that everything was good to go after Hurricane Lee had just gone by the weekend before.

Great place!

Overall this was a fantastic vacation. We went as 3 families and had 4 kids under 5 with us. Closeness to the beach was key. If you come here with small children, I would bring lots of baby gates, the room divider kind so the spiral staircase can be blocked off effectively. We got creative with furniture outside to cereate a safe spot on the patio. Everything was clean and there were lots of good sleeping options for all.

Great family getaway!

The property was perfect. The location was quiet but conveniently located to many places within walking distance. The beach was “right there”, very short walk. The house was clean and fit 2 adults 3 children perfect! Could definitely fit more comfortably. Our children loved being upstairs in there own space as we were able to relax downstairs/ outside on the large front deck. Highly recommended.

Short but sweet

Found this partial week rental and jumped on it. Driftwood had plenty of room for the 4 adults, 3 kids and a dog. The proximity to the beach was great for my daughter and family. The set up of the house allowed my husband and myself first floor total access while my daughter’s family was on the second floor.We didn’t do too much cooking so I really don’t know about the pot and pan situation, but discovered if one kitchen didn’t have something, the other did (toaster).If there was a down side, it would be the fact that it’s a corner lot and 3 young boys who like to be on the move.We’re talking about a return visit for next year all ready!

Family weekend geteawy

We had an amazing time. Jon is the most thoughtful host. Despite bad weather, he checked in with us a couple of times and offered numerous suggestions for rainy days. The house has plenty of board games and coloring supplies to keep the kids busy. Jon is very responsive, and got back to me with questions very timely. The cottage had plenty of room for 9 of us and our dog. We will definitely stay here again!
