Perfect big bear get away

Stunning property with wrap around balcony, the views are unmatched! Smooth check in, comfortable beds and amenities. The house is spacious and so comfortable! This will be our go-to for Big Bear

Incredible views

We had the best time at this cozy cabin! The layout is massive and it was perfectly accommodating for our large group! Super close to Bear Mountain, tucked away with breathtaking views!! The cabin has not been updated in some time, but that also ends up being part of the charm! I would definitely stay here again!!

New Years vaca 2024/2025

First of all, the location for this house doesn’t get any better. Floor to ceiling window with glass doors opening up to a deck overlooking the slopes with a lake view. This is the thing that made it worthwhile being in the house. My biggest issue with this house was the cleanliness and how run down things were. Seems like updating around this property hasn’t been done because they can get away with renting it based on its location. For example, the swing on the deck had a board missing with nails sticking out. There was trash thrown about all around the property. There was a broken lamp just shoved into the closet. Basically all the carpets were so gross and old that I made sure all our teenagers kept their slippers on inside the house. The bed covers/pillow slips, and the one extra blanket inside the closet looked unwashed. There was a lot of dust behind the beds, along windowsills & on shelves where it looked like the cleaning crew took shortcuts. There was hair in the master bath drain and open and unopened candy behind some of the beds. We found glass embedded in the carpet in one of the bedrooms. It just seems the cleaning crew here doesn’t take its time and the management company is not keeping them accountable. The water pressure is also pretty poor so only one person could shower at a time if you want decent water pressure. Deep cleanings and updating needed ASAP.

Best family cabin

Location and view is a 10. The layout of cabin is great. Loved that there was so many rooms with bathrooms to go with it. It’s definitely outdated but that’s not a negative for me. Not there to judge decor. If I had questions host was very quick to answer on text. Had a great time and would definitely rent again because you can’t beat the price for how roomy it is. You will pay way more with a luxurious cabin. Also, walking distance to slopes.

Great home for large gatherings!

Our stay was really nice. Spacious rooms and baths. Home was clean upon arrival. Seating for 6 in the upstairs and downstairs family room comfortably. Kitchen pots/pans need to be replaced. Steep driveway so be prepared in the snow. GREAT customer service. We had one request and they responded immediately! Looking forward to going again!

Big Family

This house had lots of sleeping areas and lots of bathrooms. Some deferred maintenance ie: window coverings broken. Did not use any kitchen plates etc. although they were there. No Keurig just a regular Mr. Coffee. It was a good experience overall. Great family get away home.

Quiet, spacious mountain retreat with amazing views

Our family previously owned a cabin in Moonridge, so this trip was extra special for us. We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the location—private, quiet, ample parking and incredible views from the deck. Property is spacious and comfortable. The rental process was smooth, and the owner was professional and very responsive when needed. We would rent again.

Sons Birthday Choice

My family and I celebrated my son's 15th Birthday and this house was the perfect fit. He loved the pool table and hot tub; the outside swing was perfect. The bbq grill was used as we all had a family dinner. My contact was very helpful and replied to my messages quickly. We made so many memories and enjoyed this house a lot.

Fantastic Property

We stayed here with another close family. there were 9 of us total and we had TONS of room. Very comfortable and everything worked as it should. Very close to Bear Mountain resort and in a nice quiet cul de sac. we will be back

My family and I spent our Christmas in this wonderful cabin! We had an awesome time!

Beautiful cabin, the pictures don’t do justice. It exceeded our expectations! The views are beautiful and the location was conveniently located by the slopes. The layout was perfect, it gave everyone privacy and a chance to enjoy the cabin. It has an ample and fully stocked kitchen as well. Whenever we had questions we would get a prompt response from the host. We will definitely consider lodging here again! Thanks!

Overall a great place

House is great and very clean. No pots and pans to speak of which made cooking very difficult. The upstairs bedroom is ope to the living area so no privacy but its a huge room. Cabin is very dated and a bit run down but overall the location is fantastic. the views are tremendous and we had a great time.

Beautiful home, lots of potential.

Large home with beautiful views. However, the old window blinds were difficult or impossible to fully open to enjoy all the views. The spa on the deck was quite nice. We were there for Thanksgiving weekend, so cooking was in order. The kitchen is not very well appointed. Additional pots, pans, serving bowls, etc., are needed. Lacked a functional cork screw. Example: cooking bacon and eggs for 10 people on ONE 10" skillet is a real pain to say the least. No crock pot, as was advertised at the time. Only two kitchen towels, no potholders. Very little storage for food. We realize closing off the pantry to renters is an owner option, but it made it difficult to store our supplies. We were forced to stack them in the kitchen. The master bath (in the loft) smelled bad. Not sure what the issue was, but would not go away despite our efforts. Several light bulbs out throughout the house, Including the kitchen. The gate on the right side of the house was broken and laying on the deck. Significant amount of trash on the ground around the cabin (beer cans, a broken green plastic table, etc.) which we cleaned up. Large burn mark on deck. Picture quality from the cable boxes are quite poor. Also, none of the remotes seem to work. This is not operator error, as we had 5 millennials in the house. We brought a few "fire sticks" which helped greatly. Needed additional seating in the living room. We of course took pictures and videos to ensure we weren't charged for any of the issues we encountered. When we let the owner know, they were receptive and stated they would address these issues in the future; let's hope so; as it has wonderful potential.

Needs Maintenance but huge potential

Pros: location, quiet, end of cul de sac, mattresses, sheets, towels, view, huge wrap around deck Cons: Needs maintenance, screens missing sliders & windows (this is problem as only way to cool cabin is to open up), fridge doesn't hold temp, broken in places. Broiler doesn't work. Jacuzzi jets lacking, BBQ propane empty on arrival, Silverware(should serve 14): forks 5, spoons 3, bowls 6, pots & pans past useful life, fireplace screen broken(can't use fireplace as a result), deck needs paint, many ceiling lights bulbs burnt out. Little things all over needs work. It was such a nice house! It just needs some loving to bring it back to it's full potential.

When can we come back?!

Fabulous property that is perfect for a large group of adults. The views are amazing! Very spacious, and clean home that has adequate amenities. We loved that tucked away feeling that didn’t feel crowded or too mainstream neighborhood. We will be back to this home!
