Very quiet and comfortable. Hot tub was well maintained, better than other properties weâve stayed at, but not very private so did not use. Living area is amazingly comfortable. Kitchen has an awesome selection of cookware and dishes. Awesome view from 3rd floor. Canât wait to book this property again.
My husband and I had one of our best VRBO experiences in this rental. The setting is lovely just yards from the beginning of one of the most beautiful forest hiking trails Iâve ever been on. The access to the Community Center was fantastic as it has a 50 meter pool with nice changing facilities and several saunas.
The jacuzzi at the house works great. Itâs a lived in house so there are books to read and games to play and a fully stocked kitchen so you can cook with ease.
The owner was very responsive and accommodating.
Just a great place that I highly recommend.
We were to stay a week from January 2 - 9. On the morning of the 4th all of the power went out throughout the area from historic storms and we departed the following day. The house is nicely situated on the east side of Highway 1 in a clearing so its gets good sun. The house is spacious and well equipped. Considering the prices for Sea Ranch rentals these days, this house is nicely priced and well worth it, We're just sad the trip ended so quickly.
This lovely three-story house on The Sea Ranch, CA is a wonderful place to stay, especially during the summer when August temperatures are in the low 70âs. The spacious home has two bedroom suites, one on the main floor and the other on the 2nd floor, and a 3rd floor bedroom if needed. It was a treat to sit in the living room at anytime of day and look at nature through the several large windows (which have high quality and easy to use slatted shades.) There are nearby homes, but no structures impede the acres of living room view across a large meadow to a forest of majestic redwoods. Hiking trails abound in the immediate area and deer grazed placidly a few feet from the windows, seemingly unaware they were being observed by my wife and me.The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and all manner of pots, pans, utensils and glassware and there were numerous puzzles to work as well as a library with a variety of books to read.We canât think of a more perfect place to spend a summer month and hope we're able to do so again.
Property is beautiful! Lots of construction going on next door so noisy. Neighbor asked us to turn off dining room lights. But Sarah is wonderful and very helpful.
My wife, daughter and son in law stayed here for a week and really enjoyed the quiet vacation. The home is great for 2 couples. There is a bed and bath on the first floor and the same plus a sitting room on the 2nd floor which provides each couple with privacy. The 3rd floor has a nice sunny bedroom. Our grandson and his wife spent a night there and thought that it was great Lots of stairs though.
There is a hot tub that was a nice addition.
The view is to a meadow and it was nice to see deer meandering through it and squirrels in and around the trees.
The ocean is about 1/2 mile away but the trail is clearly marked as are all of the many bike and walking trails throughout the development.
There is a nice golf course a short distance away with great practice facilities.
Shopping is in Gualala about 4 miles north and has two full service grocery stores.
There is a swimming pool and tennis courts but we did not use them.
All in all it was a nice vacation facility and spot.
