Great Place to stay

I came down to enjoy a mini trip with my kids. Perfect little spot for us! Very cute & location was decent! The only thing I wish that could have been different was how far the beach was. If you do not rent a bike or a gulf cart you have to walk to the beach which is about a 3-4 min walk. I only didn’t enjoy that because I brought my two small kids. But perfect for couples! All in all great place

A beachy, comfy stay!

The units at the Inn are perfect for one or two people! The balcony looks out onto a beautiful lake surrounded by upscale houses which can also be rented. A short walk takes you to the white sandy beach of the Gulf. I enjoyed my stay, however currently some renovations in the Inn caused some unpleasant noise from time to time.

Nice spot for a short stay

The overall experience was good, but it felt more like a hotel stay than other rentals. If you plan to cook meals during your stay, be prepared to bring even the most basic items, like salt and pepper. Still, a great price for a place close to the water!

Wonderful Gulf retreat!

We loved everything about this condo. The place itself is beautifully maintained with nice furniture, clean, everything we needed. The location was perfect for our trip, close enough to downtown pcb to enjoy restaurants and activities there but far enough away to not be in the fray. The shops and restaurants on the property are so sweet, people super helpful. And the amenities made our stay so special. Pools, hot tubs, loungers and umbrella set up for us on the beach. It really was perfect. We would absolutely stay here again and probably will.

30A Getaway

The Carillon beach area is very close to 30A. Putting you directly between 30A & Panama City Beach. The location is unmatched. The actual room is an efficiency as advertised. My one complaint is that the water heater is very very small. If you take a shower longer than five minutes, there is no hot water. Other than that, it was a nice property.

Great vacation

Very nice place. Development had couple of eateries and stores. Condo was excellent, great king bed, great shower. Did not eat in except for breakfast but seemed to have necessary items. Beach a short walk around the lake. Beautiful beach and 4 pools to choose from. Alligator in lake so did not want to go kayaking.

The little things

We had difficulty getting access to the room, I had to call the front desk for help. The toilet was loose and the sofa needs to be cleaned. The HDMI wire needs to be replaced on the tv in the bedroom. Other than that it served it purpose. Nice area!

Just enough room in a wonderful community!

What a cute little spot. The community of Carillon Beach is perfect - a couple places to eat, shop and relax. Love the multiple pools & beach access points and the adorable walkable neighborhood. The condo is JUST enough. King bed is comfortable and everything was clean. The tiny kitchen is kind of hilarious but served our needs perfectly. The ice maker in the fridge was AMAZING. Great view of the pond and community from the balcony. Things I didn't love....but fortunately they are either temporary or fixable: I wish the community center area and Inn lobby weren't being renovated in the high season (this review is in July 2023), but I know how it goes and sometimes that's just unavoidable. I can't wait to see the finished product! Also, the sleeper sofa mattress was atrociously uncomfortable (way beyond the typical sleeper sofa trope) and my son described it as "like sleeping on a chain link fence". I popped over to Walmart and purchased a memory foam topper which fixed it up nicely. The resort would likely have offered to make some kind of correction had I complained, but honestly I didn't know what they could do besides adding a few blankets, and I didn't want to spend a minute more of our short trip trying to coordinate or another uncomfortable night for the kids. Also the kitchen could use to have some of the drinkware restocked. I think some glasses and cups have inadvertently walked off over time. All that said, we loved it and we will definitely be back!!

We loved it.

The place, apartment, location and price were great. We loved it and would come back. It was near every thing we were interested in and there so much to do and convenient to the store etc. The apartment could used a little updating. The rest of this is just an FYI not a criticism the floor needed a better cleaning, the towel holder by the sink was hanging loose, the sink stopper was disconnected. One lamp the switch was broke so you had to use plug it in to turn on the lamp and unplug it to turn it off. Or screw in and out the light bulb. Too many remotes with not instructions on what they worked and some of them didn’t Seem to work. The bedroom TV did not seem to be connected to cable system like Amazon prime , Hulu ,Netflix etc. I maybe be wrong on the but I could not figure it out. Again some instructions on how that and the remotes work would have been very helpful. One last thing the track on one side of the sliding door was very difficult to side I think the track needs to be cleaned and lubed. All these things are miner inconveniences. The room was great! I m a firm believer that you can’t fix it if you didn’t know it was broken. Most people probably won’t say anything but I would rather tell you or the owner especially since you asked , so these little the can be be made right or improved. Again not a criticism just an FYI. Great place to stay!!!

My stay at Carillon Beach Inn was amazing! The place was exactly like the pictures showed with the perfect amount of space, a beautiful view and walking distance from the beach! The neighborhood is amazing too including a cute coffee shop and store you can purchase anything you may have forgotten to bring with you. And Vacasa kept the place clean and stocked with essentials for staying in their unit. I would highly recommend staying here!!

Exactly what I needed

I was the perfect location and checking in was a breeze. The home has room for four so the price is acceptable, although this trip was just me. I wished there was early check-in and not sure why it's not an option since there's not much there to prepare and clean.

Beautiful view!

Enjoyed our stay

Enjoyed our mini stay here. Very comfortable and convenient to everything. The restaurant Phat Crab has the best pizza ever. We enjoyed our stay at the Carillon Beach so much that we went back the following weekend.

Disappointed

Will never stay here again. As soon as we opened the door the smell of cigarettes bombarded us. It was horrible and is a non smoking unit. Ashes were in the toilet. In addition, toilet wouldn’t flush, bathroom sink clogged, floors filthy, outside patio needs deep clean and battery in smoke detector is purposely popped out. We called the manager to let him know and they said they would send someone but there was not much they could do. We fixed the minor things but were stuck with the smoke smell. Manager was apologetic but something needs to be done with the cleaning company and more attention to caring for the unit.
