Pleasure to host Mark and his friends, no problems and left the villa spotless.

Hi Karen, Thanks for taking the time to review the villa, a little bit miffed that you only gave a 4 star because of not enough pillows (there are extra in every room)We have never had a complaint about the bedding before and we shall certainly discuss this with our cleaning company. Maybe, it was because you mistakenly believed the cleaners attended daily to change the sheets (I had to clarify it was a self catering holiday). Overall though ,we are glad you had a great stay at the villa and hope to see you all again in the future. Regards David

Thanks for your very lengthy review, I would like to reply with some truths as you wrote them. The broken door handle was reported to me on the 3rd day of your stay! It was immediately repaired, why did it work for the first two days ? Again, you mentioned a dirty sheet and a broken chopping board on the 3rd day, I offered to send the cleaner back to take a look, you declined and later told me that a quick wash cleaned the said sheet. A chopping board was sent the same day !! Our cleaners have worked for us for many years and are fantastic and often complimented as you can see in previous reviews. The air con has no leak, the overflow pipe allows water to run into the bucket, otherwise as an upstairs terrace it would run off the patio and on to the floor below where the BBQ area is, the cleaners empty the bucket every clean, but it soon fills up as the air con is on 24/7,it just needs a quick empty into the toilet every few days. You made it sound so bad when you say you had to bail it out with saucepans !!! The pool man does a fantastic job and has to attend most days during the hot extreme weather, how do you think the pool keeps clean, he comes early as this would be the best time to clean the pool with minimum disruption !! A dishwasher is supplied, and we assume people use it and put clean crockery and cutlery away after using them. We love to hear feedback and we always make improvements when they are valid suggestions, but on this occasion will take this review with a pinch of salt as it is not a true reflection in my opinion. Hi Lorraine, Thank you very much for the glowing review ,we are glad you had a lovely time at the villa. Fortunately,the villa is right next to the sea which as you know is at sea level,so the only way to walk is uphill if you want to leave Dehesa De Campoamor. I am 65 and manage the slight incline very easily but I can understand it may be more challenging for some elderly or people with health issues. Luckily,taxis are very cheap to take you to a bar or restaurant or why not try the many restaurants in Dehesa De Campoamor within a five minute walk. Perhaps the beach bar at the end of the road! Overall though,we are glad you enjoyed your stay. Regards David
