Mazu est amarrĂ© dans le petit village de Damariscotta, qui est «juste assez petit pour ĂȘtre charmant et assez occupĂ© pour ĂȘtre intĂ©ressant».
À deux minutes de la route 1; et le stationnement est gratuit. 1 heure de Portland et 2, 5 heures Bar Harbor! L'utilisation de deux kayaks et d'un canot est incluse. Pas d'animaux, pas de fĂȘtes.
Le Mazu de 42 pieds comprend une literie élégante, une cuisine élégante et de grandes terrasses pour prendre le soleil et se divertir. Deux cabines privées sont parfaites pour quatre invités; mais avec un canapé-lit supplémentaire dans le salon principal, Mazu peut accueillir jusqu'à six personnes.

If you want a fun glamping experience on a boat, I can't recommend Mazu enough! The location is fantastic, with live music close by and fresh lobster just steps away. The harbor offers a classic Maine vibe—truly a quintessential Maine experience! While Mazu is a bit older, it was comfortable and clean, making it ideal for our two-night stay. I can't wait for a longer visit next time! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Best stay ever!

We stayed aboard the MAZU for 3 days and couldnt have had a better experience. The host gave great detail in communications, the area was beautiful and the boat was so comfortable for the two of us. If you want to relax I would definitely recommend it!

The Mazu was a lovely place to spend a few days. The boat was exactly as advertised and is in a great location. Close to many shops & restaurants. Olga & Chip were great hosts and easy to get in touch with. An added bonus was being so close to the fireworks on July 4th. We had a great view and didn’t need to worry about the crowds or traffic afterwards. Would definitely go back when we want a peaceful relaxing getaway.

For the third year, my daughters and I had the most wonderful five days aboard Mazu. It is immaculate, and is the perfect spot to enjoy the extraordinary views down the Damariscotta River, as well as the great proximity to all the shops and restaurants that Damariscotta has to offer. We enjoyed swimming off the boat, indulged in numerous delicious local oysters, and simply relaxed together aboard the boat, playing games and being together in this beautiful place. Thanks to Olga and Chip for your attention to detail, for always being available should we have any questions, and for providing this special summer time for our family. We can’t wait to be back!

Great Views and Sunsets

The stay was very relaxing and the sunsets were wonderful. If you like being on the water this is worth checking out. Close to restaurants and easy walking to Main Street where you can sit outside and enjoy a meal.

Great location!

Great place for two couples to stay

It was more spacious than I expected based on the photos. Nice location for a quiet, lowkey, pretty getaway. Recommend doing the oyster and wine pairing boat cruise if you can really enhanced the experience. Great hosts.

Waves rock you to sleep

Perfect boat Maine experience for non nautical family. We loved the whole experience: eating at the Schooner, kayak morning ride, watching sunset and rocking to sleep with the waves. The cabin was very roomy and the sleeping was perfect. Great hosts and well stocked. Our family of 4 loved it!

Unique Accommodations

We totally enjoyed our weekend stay in Damariscotta. The houseboat accommodations were awesome. Olga, the property manager, was exceptional. We will return. Great location

Life on the Mazu

We had a wonderful stay on the Mazu. Never stayed on a boat before and the Mazu exceeded our expectations. What a wonderful place to stay. The bed in the captains quarters was fantastic! Views and location were amazing. Olga and Chip are wonderful hosts. Highly recommend the Mazu for your next get away!

Can't beat the view

We loved it, definitely not a 4 adult place but perfect for a couple. Amazing view and location. Damariscotta is a great town to visit and get the feel of Maine. A few things need to be fixed and updates but overall really nice

Great location

This is our second year vacationing on MAZU. We love the easy access to good restaurants and shopping. Also a nearby restaurant has live music during happy hour so we had that as a bonus as we relaxed on the boat. The owners are great!! Although we had an issue with the plumbing this year, Chip responded quickly and resolved the problem. We are hoping to stay on the MAZU again next summer.

SO FUN!

We absolutely loved our stay! We wanted a quiet and relaxing getaway, and this one knocked it out of the park. The only ‘complaint’ is that now we’re COMPLETELY spoiled- and it’s going to be difficult for future getaways anywhere else to match up! Which is actually a compliment- Olga, Chip, and MAZU rock! A+

We Enjoyed Mazu

This was a unique experience that my kids really enjoyed. We had restaurants to grab food (many are short staffed and could not seat is), bring takeout back to boat, swim off the boat and just play games with our kids. You need to remember it’s a boat and has tight space but well worth it for the experience. Many thanks to Olga.

What a View !

If you want a water view and be in the middle of downtown close to all the restaurants and shops, this is for you ! Olga and Chip were fantastic hosts and were very responsive if needed but left us to our privacy. Great balance! It is a boat so expect those things that come with a boat. The beds were very comfortable and cozy !

Nice spot but toilet problems

We reported problem and did not take showers because we didn’t want it to overflow. I had to call and they said it was fixed. Same thing the next night.

What I do depends on the season and the location. During the summer months in Maine I run Maine Bed and Boat and Damariscotta River Cruises with my partner, Captain Chip, meet amazing people, film, take photos, have fun and tend my organic garden. When the weather gets cooler I teach classes based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Qigong. In the cold months I'm back in New York City and hibernate in the editing room creating documentary films. And somewhere in between I visit my family in Budapest and friends in other parts of the world.
