Joyau caché sur l'ßle de Westport

Située sur une ßle avec une intimité boisée, un chemin menant à notre quai privé en eau profonde et à 10 minutes de la Route 1, notre maison vous accueille dans la Mid-Coast Maine
Nous avons un lit queen au premier étage; lit double à l'étage ainsi qu'un lit double dans la troisiÚme chambre située à l'étage. Notre maison peut accueillir 5 personnes en privé, mais un 6Úme espace est disponible sur un canapé-lit double confortable dans notre mezzanine à l'étage. Cuisine entiÚrement équipée avec four, cuisiniÚre, micro-ondes, grille-pain, cafetiÚre, bouilloire et des bases de cuisine. Nous conservons l'huile d'olive, le vinaigre, les condiments et le thé et le café. Nous avons deux salles de bain complÚtes et une laveuse / sécheuse si vous en avez besoin.
Notre terrasse spacieuse surplombant la riviÚre Sheepscot offre une vue magnifique. De nombreux oiseaux vivent dans notre région - y compris un pic empilé!
Deux plages de sable, de nombreux magasins, restaurants et galeries, ainsi qu'une épicerie bien approvisionnée se trouvent à 10-30 minutes de Rocky Road. Portland, la plus grande ville à proximité de nous, est à une heure de route avec toutes ses offres culturelles.

We wish we had more time to hang out here! We loved the water views and the sunroom. The bedrooms were cute and beds were comfortable. The hang-out area with books, games and puzzles was a nice bonus. Would love to stay again!

Our stay was fabulous. Our favorite part of the day was to wake up and go out on the back porch with coffee in hand and enjoy the beautiful view. There were a number of times that we saw deer and raccoons. I couldn't even tell you how many different birds we saw. Carol even provided binoculars for bird viewing. Nice touch! Thank you Carol for a wonderful stay.

Quiet Slice of Heaven

Had a great week’s stay at Rocky Road. Location is private, quiet and remote, nestled in the woods, but centrally located by many hiking trails, attractions and restaurants within a short drive. The view of the river was incredible. My favorite spot was the sunroom early in the morning and watching the boats go by sipping mimosas in complete peace and quiet. Everything you need is available to you. Air conditioning was a plus since there was a heat wave for a few days. Beds are comfortable and many games available to pick from. A small trail at the end of the road within walking distance was a nice bonus after dinner without having to leave by car. The path to the river and dock is steep but doable and amazing for watching sunrises. Carol was very responsive with any questions. Had no issues with the house and felt as though we owned the place. Thanks for a wonderful stay Carol.

Well stocked gem

We rented for a girl's family vacation. It was a great base location for our trip. It was very well stocked with everything you could think of needing. We were able to relax in the evening with puzzles and a movie. Highly recommended. Communication was excellent!

Beautiful River View

Wonderful property! I was alone so the second floor went unused, but would be an awesome place for a family to stayWell-located to get to Wiscasset, Woolwich, Bath, and other destinations.

Raised the bar

This was our first time using Vrbo & this stay definitely raised the bar. Snowed while we were here. Amazing views with sun coming up over river & everything covered in snow. Wonderful space. Loved all the puzzles.

Peaceful Retreat

Hidden gem is the perfect way to describe this amazing property at 19 Rocky Rd on beautiful Westport Island! We stayed 2 nights and wished we could have stayed longer! Next time! We feel very blessed by the whole experience! Thank you owners!

Great house, great location!

Relaxing stay

The house was lovely and well appointed. It felt like you were far from everything but then a short drive gets you to different kinds of places. Peaceful and relaxing to listen to the sounds of the woods, trails nearby, kayaking whenever you want at the house’s dock. Everyone enjoyed it.

A Wonderful Cottage in a Great Location

This was our second stay at this vrbo. Wonderful view of the river, The most well equipped kitchen of any place we have stayed in Maine. Carol is a great host. Highly responsive to anything we need. So nice to be around the bend from the lobster co-op. Can't wait to come back to this restful serene cottage in mid-coast Maine.

Relaxing getaway

Truly incredible getaway

Our experience at this cottage was among the best we've ever had. The house itself was appointed with everything you could want, and more. It was relaxing, inviting, charming, gorgeous (inside and out), and accessible to town while still feeling totally remote. We loved hearing loons down the river at night, and grilling local fish every day. The water in the river is highly invigorating to swim in! Having access to a canoe was so much fun for our family. We can't say enough good things about this incredible place. It's not often that we really want to go back to the same place, but with this spot, we do.

Beautiful private property

We enjoyed our stay and the hosts had so many thoughtful little touches (like kids toys and kitchen items). The deck view and the dock were one of our favorite parts of our trip. Highly recommend staying here.

Lovely Cottage, Beautiful View

The cottage is in a wonderful location overlooking the Sheepscot River. We enjoyed the short walk to the Clough Preserve where we saw over fifty Lady Slippers among the ferns and trees. There are many nice outdoor spaces including a front lawn and a large deck facing the water. The sunroom was a great space to enjoy morning coffee or to read a book on a rainy afternoon.
