We had a wonderful stay. The place was very clean, spacious and very comfortable. It was a perfect location for all the different areas we wanted to explore and very easy to get to. We would stay again in the future!

This is an excellent location for visiting mid coast Maine. You are right in the center of everything and can get to Camden, Rockland, Boothbay, Bath easily from this spot. The unit is clean and well appointed. Would highly recommend

We were on a lobster roll tour and this home was in a perfect location. We had 6 adults, the twin room was doable but as all of us are over 67 the trundle bed was a surprise, but comfortable. May want to take this into consideration. The house was well equipped and spacious. We really enjoyed our time here. Red’s Eats is still hands down the best lobster roll value around, if you don’t mind the wait. McCloon’s was a close second and the taste was excellent. Best clam chowder at The Taste Of Maine.

The apartment was spacious and clean. The bed so comfortable! We didn’t cook there but the kitchen was well stocked with pots and utensils. Not far from downtown Damariscotta. It was very quiet. Lots of stairs up to the apartment so that might not work for some.

This is a huge place and could easily accommodate an entire family or 3 couples. Huge living room, kitchen, dining area. The location was excellent for accessing everything close to Damariscotta that you may want to visit. The hostess was super helpful, knowledgeable and available. It is obvious that the owners have tried to make the stay comfortable for the visitors. This would be a great place to stage a family re-union or group get together.

Great Stay!

A perfect place to stay while visiting friends. Plenty of room and looks exactly like the photos. Very easy check in and out, and the host is very quick to respond. Great stay and would highly recommend!

House was extremely clean, comfortable and just the right size for our family. The hosts were responsive and friendly and thought of everything we could possibly need and more. It was a good location to visit town and beyond as well as our friends on Biscay Pond.

This is a nice and well-located place, with a couple of fairly minor drawbacks:The upstairs bathroom lacked a screen and with the hot weather we were unable to open that window, which was somewhat cumbersome since the bedroom window was blocked by an upright air conditioning unit that didn't particularly fit the casement window. The AC itself worked well, which was necessary as there was no cross ventilation with downstairs. In addition, had low water pressure and hot water was limited if anyone was using the downstairs water.The property's excellent location, light, spaciousness and large deck more than offset the minor inconveniences. We would recommend this place and would consider visiting again,

Thank you for the review. Apologies for the lack of hot water. We recently had to pull our well pump and rewire it and it stirred up some sediment, which is what we believe caused the water temp issues. It has since been remedied after reading this review and learning of the issue. And I agree - the AC in the bedroom isn't ideal but our choices are limited with casement windows. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay otherwise.

Thanksgiving getaway with family

We stayed here with our adult children and grandson while visiting family in the area. This was our second time staying here and it was perfect for us. Plenty of space to spread out and a great kitchen to prep food to bring to family Thanksgiving! The hosts were great and very responsive when we had questions. Shuffle board was a definite plus!!

Great Damariscotta find

The apartment was very comfortable, clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a 3-night stay. The location was also close to restaurants, shopping and the sites of the area. The air conditioning on the first floor was much appreciated during the heat wave! Highly recommend and hope to return.

Great stay in a spacious clean apartment

Enjoyed our stay in Carmen's spacious and clean apartment. The house is really well done and furnished with quality furniture, appliances, and utensils. Carmen was an amazing host and always very responsive. The apartment is large and has everything you need. There are some stairs to walk up to get in and it is located above a garage (never noticed any noise). Would absolutely stay again!

This space exceeded our expectations! It is beautifully appointed, spacious and had everything we needed. The owner truly set this up as if they were staying there. Would highly recommend. The only thing to be aware of is that there are alot of stairs, both inside and out!

Everything we needed and perfect location for touring Boothbay Harbor, Camden, Rockland, Wiscasset and day trips to Freeport. Carmen was a great hostess and was very responsive. My grandson was very excited about the DOT crew doing roadwork and he spent hours watching them - added treat. We were not impacted by noise from the business below, barely knew they were there. Very highly recommend.

Perfect for us

We had an excellent stay here. The place was clean, air conditioned and very well equipped. There is a good grocery a mile down the road. It is a quiet area but close to places like Boothbay harbor. We were doing a race in Augusta, and even though it was a 40 minute drive there, it was so much nicer to stay in this spacious apartment than in a hotel. The property manager answered all questions in a very timely manner. Highly recommended.

Brand New, Clean and spacious

Well appointed clean, comfortable apartment for myself and 3 colleagues. The only thing I would say is that there is one enormous bedroom and then a mid size room that is connected by a sliding barn door from a very small room without a window. This small room has the trundle bed. Might be perfect for a family- it was a little tough for 4 adults. Other than that is was great and Carmen and her husband were wonderful hosts!

Just Perfect!

We needed a space to stay close to family for a big reunion. This was such a wonderful retreat for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) that was luxurious. We had everything we needed and more. Sparkling clean. Super comfortable mattresses. High end everything. Air conditioning was amazing for a super hot weekend. We didn't need to cook but I wish we had! My kids loved the shark themed bedroom and the trundle bed. The pack and play and toys made it easy to just bring some clothes and move in. Hope to be back, thanks again!!

Perfect location for mid coast Maine day trips!

Beautiful three bedroom apartment. Perfect for a couple and a friend…all over 65 and good health. Steps were not a problem. Lots of floor space and privacy. Beautiful decor and looks brand new. Love the big island in the kitchen…plenty of space to put things. Property manager immediately available by text, if needed. We spent 3 days there and did day trips to Bath, Wiscasset, Pemaquid Point lighthouse, Bristol, and Boothbay Harbor. Quaint little Damariscotta was cute. Rarely had parking or traffic issues (mid Sept) except to Red’s for a lobster roll. Would recommend!

Great apartment for family sty

We spent 6 nights in this apartment, and it met all our needs. The apartment was modern, roomy, comfortable, immaculate, and had everything we needed. There were 4 of us, including my daughter-in-law and 6 year old grandson. The kitchen was well stocked so we could cook there. The air shuffleboard table was a bonus, and we alll enjoyed using it. The beds were comfortable, and the showers had sufficient hot water for all of us. The apartment is over a commercial space, but the workers were hardly ever there. And the apartment is a quick 5 minutes drive from downtown Damariscotta, which is a delightful town on the water with lots of shops and restaurants. We not only highly recommend the apartment, but we will definitely be back again!

Perfect for last minute family trip.

We knew exactly what we were renting due to the detailed description. The place was well stocked with the necessary supplies needed to sleep, cook and feed our family of five. The location was perfect for us as our trip was for a family member's funeral and the funeral home and church were just down the road. It was very clean, plenty of TV's to make everyone happy and the master bedroom area was away from our grown children. We even were able to entertain more family members for a cookout after the service. Communication with the owner was excellent - our questions were responded to quickly. The location is also convenient to traveling in the area. Having grown up in the area it was easy to find our way around. I should say, however, this was a last minute emergency trip and not a vacation. While convenient to everything in town, it is not on a lake or water which the area is known for, but it did have a nice deck to relax on with an outdoor grill. It also was near a hiking trail to a conservation area which we took advantage of in the morning.

Minutes away from Damariscotta, one of the prettiest little towns in Maine, and a short drive to Pemaquid lighthouse, my favorite place on earth, besides home. Carmen, was helpful, welcoming, and communicated instantly. The apartment was beautiful, bright, fully appointed, and quite spacious. One thing to note is that the living space is up a full flight of stairs and the master bedroom is also up a flight of stairs. We were aware of this and it wasn’t a problem for us, but might be for some.
