Sugar Mountain est un si bel endroit pour planifier un séjour au ski et la meilleure façon de profiter des pistes est quand elles se trouvent juste devant votre porte arrière. Cette rotonde confortable vous permet de skier dans et hors de votre salon! Sur les pistes, vous pouvez regarder tous les skieurs nocturnes passer du canapé avec les immenses fenêtres de cette maison. Une cuisine complète a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour passer une soirée en famille et le pont panoramique vous donnera une vue imprenable sur la montagne.

Il y a tellement de choses à faire ici à Sugar Mountain! La station de ski est juste en haut de la rue où vous pouvez profiter de la patinoire et boire du chocolat chaud dans le pavillon de ski, et il y a même un terrain de golf si vous visitez pendant les mois les plus chauds. Un trajet de dix minutes en voiture vous mènera à la mine de brouillard de Foggy Mountain, où vous pourrez chercher des joyaux avec des instructeurs pour une expérience éducative en famille, ou admirer une vue incroyable sur les montagnes en traversant le pont Mile High Swinging et en ziplining à Hawksnest.

This was probably our 7th time staying in the same property. This was the only time we had a small issue, but it was resolved quickly. My only complaint is not being able to speak to a live person. All communication was done through text. However. like I said the cleaning issue was taken care of as soon as it was brought to the attention of management. The house is the perfect location for a family that loves to ski!

The home had a great view. It is older but well maintained and had everything that you need. The wraparound porch was very nice all times of day. We only used one bedroom but it has plenty of space for 10 people.

Wonderful Visit!

We absolutely loved this house for our late-season family snowboarding trip! It was so great to be right on the slopes so we could ski out. The second living room down stairs was a great feature, so the adults and kids could have their own space. Just a really great space for our family getaway. We will definitely look for it next time we come to Sugar Mountain!

Ski out on Sugar

Location was amazing and architecture of the home is pretty cool. We did find trash left over from previous occupants when we pulled out the sleeper couch and used the recliner. Overall great place.

It was comfy and pretty but we saw bugs inside and the blankets wear not soft and didn’t keep you...

I really like the kitchen seating, it reminds me of a restaurant type and what I also really loved was how natural and comfy it felt.

Spring Break Slopesider Eight

We’ve stayed in several slopesider properties and enjoy the convenience and charm of the community. This place was great. It is cute as can be and very nicely set up for plenty of guests! The built in dining table is great for meals and games and the separate area downstairs was perfect for the kids to have their own space. We all appreciated having cable and internet, too. The ski in ski out is PERFECT. Lots of accommodations for gear, and set up to make it so easy to organize, dry or heat all those boots and gloves. The owners have done a great job with space and storage given the unique layout of a cute mushroom house. Super happy with the place and rental process!

Cozy Slope Sider Cabin!

We really enjoyed the location and easy access to the slopes! Super cute and nicely upgraded bathrooms upstairs. Living room furniture is a little worn and if weather is bad, the TV is really small for any movie watching. An upgraded Smart TV with Netflix would be a plus. Kitchen eating area was awesome for meals and even having to do a little remote work. Only other item that stood out was the loud A/C handler in the Primary bedroom with King bed. The heat ran all night, and it is directly over your head. Cute cabin!

Legit slope side ski in and out!

Great little place. Easy access to slopes and quite close to Banner Elk. Trips to grocery store took all of 10 minutes. Some nice remodeling done in bathrooms, however, oven and dishwasher are in need of replacement for sure but are still functional. Don't wait to watch the water boil! Also, owners, pony up the 25 bucks a month to get a few channels on the TV, eh? My advice is to make sure you bring your fire stick, appletv etc with you and plug it in, otherwise you will be watching the one news channel. These are small things and would not deter us from renting this same spot again!

Beautiful house and location! - needs cleaning and upgrading

Ill keep the review summarized to key points: 1. The house has a GREAT location. Ski in and ski out, very convenient! 2. The Check-in was terrible!! We arrived at 4pm (the check in time) and the sheets were all over the FLOOR. Not one bed was made. the bathroom towels were on the FLOOR too and were all dirty. There were FOOD crumbs all over the floor and the couches. Coffee from past guests, and dirty dishes as well. I called and they sent a cleaning service 2 hours later. The cleaning service ONLY changed linens and towels, the floor was still left dirty... this was very disappointing, since we spent christmas in the cabin. 3. a good 8-10 people fit, there is enough space for everyone. 4. Again.. VERY good location for a winter vacation but consider calling a couple of times before arriving to make sure they cleaned or at least picked up after the other guests.

House location was amazing , Vacasa not happy with!!

You literally cannot get a better location. House does need to be upgraded though. For very little money it would make a huge difference. Carpet is old and ratty. Kitchen needs upgrading . The original cleaning was a joke! Bed linens were not changed ! Hairs and crumbs literally on the linens on the upstairs and the bottom bedrooms were not even made .iCoykd go on and on overall the house was filthy!!! Very unhappy with the response from Vacasa on Sugar Mountain !!! I stay at Sugar every year and this is the 2nd time this has happened with a Vacasa rental . The Vacasa Mgr, said they were short handed ,So you put me in a filthy house that I paid to have cleaned ? Vacasa ultimately did send 2 ladies over and got things cleaned but it was after 8 pm when they left.
