Chalet Birchwood !! Vues incroyables, en face de la station, ski, vélo, randonnée à proximité

Welcome to Birchwood Chalet…with beautiful mountain views into Tennessee and Virginia. Our home is just a short 1 minute drive to the ski resort, the perfect family vacation or couples getaway. We are centrally located near all the High Country attractions. In the winter Beech mountain has tons of fun activities with skiing, tubing and sledding nearby .During the warmer times enjoy nearby hiking, biking and nature trails all close by (hiking poles avail for use during your stay) Downtown Banner Elk is only 10 minutes away, along with many shops, dining, mountain roller coaster and wineries to enjoy. If attending a wedding close by at Overlook Barn our home is just 2 miles from it.
Upon entering the chalet there are 10 steps down to the entrance of the home which features single level living. Our home is approx 800 sq ft and can sleep 6… it has 2 bedrooms ( 1 queen bed in each room) featuring a memory foam luxury mattress/ and also a queen size sleeper sofa in the family room …There’s also a 1 full bathroom with a walk in shower and another half bath. The main bedroom features a desk also for those that work from home. Our home also has a pack n play also for your little one if needed.There is an air conditioner unit in the living area also .There are 3 flat screen smart TVs featuring Roku streaming capability for your streaming subscriptions and also on all tvs.
The vaulted family room/ kitchen features a full size washer/dryer (starter detergent included) and an updated kitchen with all necessary appliances including a double oven, toaster, crock pot, dishwasher and a coffee bar with a Keurig and French press, 10 cup maker ane coffee grinder also . (starter pods of coffee and hot cocoa included for you)
After a day away exploring come back and stay cozy by the propane wood stove fireplace heater. Enjoy the mountain fresh air and stars along with a glass of wine or cocoa at night under the twinkle lights on the main level deck. There is also a lower deck where you may view tons of nature, deer usually can be seen all over the mountain daily. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck enjoying the amazing sunrise over the trees.
**4wd/awd/chains highly recommended in the wintertime, please prepare with winter weather changes for the area)**

Great views from the deck!! Cozy furniture, kitchen well stocked, wifi works great! Beds a little uncomfortable but the pull out couch sleeps great. Enjoyed our stay, easy access to Roan Mountain too!

The home is very well appointed. Well stocked, great decor, spectacular view, comfortable beds. Stayed there for a weekend with my husband, and it was perfect for us. We were very pleased with everything from start to finish, and would absolutely stay here again!

Very cute and clean cottage with amazing views from a wonderful deck. We spent most of our time there reading and enjoying the view. Got up one morning to watch the sunrise and it was amazing with lower lying fog and the tops of the mountains showing. The beds were a little soft for us and we can see that parking may get a little tight if all units were occupied but only the house next to us was at the time so there were no issues at all. Having that extra 1/2 bath was also a plus. Loved this house!!

Beautiful home. Easy check in process. Loved the views and the coffee bar. Two wishes: One- that the air conditioner was on for arrival. The house was 87 degrees and my elderly mom couldn’t handle that heat. We had to step out so she could cool down and to let the house cool down.Two- that there was a small dresser or chest of drawers in the entry room, so things could be put away. Over all, our stay was enjoyable and I would stay again.

Very welcoming. Top-notch location on Beech Mountain. We had a blast and a very comfortable stay! It was cold (15F and snowy) the cabin was warm! Highly recommend.
