John was such an amazing host. He would connect with me each day to ensure everything was going well during our trip. The bungalow is so close to the west entrance. If you are going with a partner, this is such a nice place for a weekend getaway.

Our host was readily available to share pertinent information about the home plus he always replied to any additional questions we had over our stay. Our host also shared his collection of local guidebooks, plus had information about the art & music happenings. This cozy home is located in a quiet neighborhood & has fun outdoor spaces too, a gem to visit!

Incredible place, wonderfully accommodating and thoughtful host. I am already hoping to get back and stay there again. The location truly could not be better for getting into the park and spending time in town. The house itself is beautiful, and definitely merits a longer stay than I was able to do—I would happily stay there for a week or longer.

Fantastic visit to Joshua Tree my first time. I so enjoyed staying at The Bungalow. The property is a gem. Nice quiet neighborhood, close to town. The back yard is very private. The house had all the amenities you could ask for. We stayed for the weekend and hiked both days in the NP. Both days we hiked over 6 miles, so we really enjoyed the very comfortable bed. One of my favorite activities was coffee each morning on the front porch watching the birds, bunnies and just loving the huge Joshua tree in the driveway. We even checked out a great hawk that was not happy with two huge ravens hanging out in the tree in the back. I could easily have chilled here for a week or more but had to unfortunately get back to the work grind. I am looking forward to returning to The Bungalow for a longer visit.

This place is perfect: cozy and clean, close to the National Park and other local attractions and the host was a joy to work with. Could not have been better. We cannot recommend it highly enough!

Bungalow in Joshua Tree

Perfect cozy and cool spot for two who want to visit Joshua Tree park. Close to the west entrance, it has everything you need. When you come back hot and dry, the back yard in the shade is lovely. In the mornings, breakfast on the front porch in the full shade. The outdoor shower is a great way to wash off the dust. The amenities are lovely as is John the host. Great communicator. All in all perfect for what we needed.

Excellent Bungalow to stay while in Joshua Tree

John was an exceptional host, with great communication. Provided all the information needed to enjoy our stay. The Bungalow had everything you could need, and comfortable. It was really well decorated, and the outdoor area was enjoyable, spending a lot of time outside. Being very close to the National Park, was also great, as we spent many days hiking. We would definitely recommend staying here, if you are in the area. When we return to Joshua Tree in the future, we will be staying at the Bungalow.

Perfect little Joshua Tree house

Excellent communication from the owner to include ease of entry to the home, hike recommendations, and how to use the numerous amenities in the house. This spot is situated very close to a national park visitors' center, as well as great pizza and coffee. If my husband and return to the area, we wouldn't bother looking for lodging anywhere else.

Beautifully decorated and well stocked bungalow. Nice outdoor areas to relax and stargaze. Communication with the host was excellent. He provided lots of information about hikes in the park and restaurants in the area.

Hiking Joshua Tree

Amazing house with space and appointments that exceeded expectations. We had cocktails on the front porch swing and chairs with side table to watch sunset. Grilled out two nights and dined outdoors. Ran out of time to use the chimea in the side yard. Very quiet and dark sky. Owner John, was very helpful with suggestions before our visit and called us to ensure we had all areas covered for our stay on check in. Site also had an electronic security system as a nice feature. Amazing range of cacti landscaping. We can’t think of a better place to stay in the area and would HIGHLY recommend this location!

Short stay at Joshua Tree

This property is a pictured, spacious indoors with lovely outdoor spaces. Excellent location to the park. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, cutlery, small appliances and pans - needed a bit of a wipe prior to using. We appreciated the filtered water for drinking and excellent wifi. Overall comfortable stay in an interesting area.

Great Home to use as a base camp at Joshua Tree

This bungalow is adorable and has everything you need. Everything seems to be carefully chosen for your comfort. The kitchen had everything we needed and the plates and mugs were quality - just like what you might choose for yourself at home. John gave us lots of information and tips. We particularly enjoyed the stargazing from the side yard and enjoyed our coffee either on the front porch swing or the table under the awning out the kitchen door.
