Camden a récemment été élue l'une des 20 plus belles villes d'Amérique!

Notre maison de village est à deux pas de Penobscot Bay. Il est parfait pour deux couples. Vous pouvez verser votre café le matin et vous promener pour voir les grands voiliers s'éloigner et profiter des scÚnes de la vie portuaire active. Ensuite, passez devant notre bibliothÚque des années 1920 et promenez-vous dans la rue Main pour profiter des petits magasins et cafés locaux qui font partie du tissu de la ville.

Bienvenue dans notre maison avec une cuisine gastronomique, bien équipée, un salon et un beau salon. Il y a un maßtre, avec lit ling et salle de bains attenante, avec un lit queen et salle de bain adjacente, tous deux au deuxiÚme étage. Le troisiÚme étage est une suite avec une chambre avec lit queen, salle de bain et un beau salon avec une baie vitrée donnant sur le mont. Beatty. L'espace global offre une intimité mais de belles chambres communes pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes.

Cette vie de village de Camden n'est qu'à quelques instants de notre porche latéral. Le charme de la maison est sa proximité avec tout et pourtant, a un charme paisible et une intimité pas facile à trouver. Nous avons choisi Camden pour notre maison lorsque nous avons trouvé quatre librairies de travail, de belles antiquaires et des restaurants locaux familiaux. Nous voulions pouvoir marcher jusqu'à l'épicerie et vivre pendant des jours sans monter dans la voiture. Chaque saison est magique: les longues soirées d'été sont d'une couleur automnale glorieuse et incomparable, la neige tombe pour les vacances et les fleurs du printemps. Notre maison à Camden est une retraite pour notre famille depuis de nombreuses années et nous aimerions la partager avec vous. En haute saison, nous sommes heureux de vous louer du samedi au samedi.

The stay was great and the house was comfortable. It was decorated nice and had a lot of artwork that the owner painted. Loves looking at all pictures. They had a full kitchen and plenty of room for the 4 of us. It was very convenient to walk to Camden. The Miller's were very nice and helpful when we asked for restaurants . Their house was nice and warm feeling. Thank you.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The home owner is a talented artist and the home has a lot of his artwork and is appointed with an artists eye. Walking distance to town, markets, Mt Battie trailhead could not have been more convenient. We had a blast !

This is a charming and very comfortable home in a great location, just a few minutes walk to downtown Camden and everything the delightful town has to offer.The home is filled with books, art and antiques which our group of four 70-somethings greatly enjoyed. The owners are a thoughtful and charming couple and were highly responsive to our wishes.We felt like adopted Camdenites! Don't miss this one.

House very cluttered. Steps to 2nd and 3rd are not designed for older people. Very difficult to get a suitcase up steps. Third floor bathroom has no mirror and is an open space.

Nice weekend

This property is in a perfect location within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the harbor. We had great food, went on a sailboat tour and drove up Mt Battie. Great weekend getaway

“Workation” on Camden

We absolutely loved everything about this place: the hosts, furnishings, location, internet speed, and price. There was something for everyone here, and we hope to return for another week next year!

Wonderful getaway

We enjoyed our stay in Camden very much. The house is charming and in a great location; quick walk downtown. Mary was always responsive and helpful with any questions we had leading up to our visit and the whole rental process was smooth.

Great location

Camden is a favorite destination for us - and as we had rented this property years ago - knew the proximity to town was terrific. We enjoyed being close to the harbor - however the property needs maintenance and to be professionally cleaned on a much more regular basis to provide the best vacation experience.

Dave and Mary were excellent hosts! The property is in a great location and within walking distance to almost everything. The house is charming and equipped with all necessities. Beautiful house, loved everything about our visit!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, and it easily accommodated the family (including three children ages 6, 11, and 14). It was the perfect place to relax and we also loved walking into town (very short walk), climbing Mt. Battie, and exploring the area. This was our first visit to Camden, and we look forward to returning again next summer!

Phenomenal stay in one of the prettiest coastal villages!

We loved our stay in Camden - Mary and David’s house was perfectly located - easy walk into town and harbor and beach! The house itself is beautiful and filled with incredible art! Would definitely return! Mary and David were so very gracious and we felt like we were staying at a friend’s home!

Completely Charmed

We felt like we stepped into Cabot Cove to stay with our aunt Jessica. The home is cozy with character, art and well cared for garden. Perfect Camden Village home

I loved my stay on Mountain Street. The house is full of antiques, books and art. So much to look at! It was so very welcoming and had everything I need to make my stay comfortable. The location in town is so perfect with plenty of parking. And although you are in the heart of the village the gardens give you a sense of peace Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked and I enjoyed my evening lass of wine on the patio. The owners are lovely. I will definitely come back.

Lovely week in Camden

Location of home is close to town and within walking distance of everything. Lovely well- appointed home filled books, antiques and art. I wish the house was on a quieter street, we never sat outside due to the busy street.

Really cozy and inviting, great kitchen; easy access to all of Camden.

We loved Dave's artwork, the book collection, and all the wonderful furnishings from the East. There was plenty of room for great meals and family board games. The third floor was super for our three teenagers. You couldn't ask for easier access to Camden. We would definitely stay at the Miller's home again!

Camden has everything you have ever wanted and more: the Owl and Turtle Book Store, Bay Chamber Concert House, Page Art Gallery, Zoot's for coffee, Buttermilk Cafe or The Deli for breakfast. There are long walks on country lanes, canoeing, kayaking, and a walk from our front door.

Our home is filled with Dave's watercolors and oils, antiques we have collected in Europe and Asia. Though it is only 2300 sq feet, there are private places to get comfortable for a read or a chat. Here is a recent review from our guests:

Immerse yourself in art and literature while enjoying the best Maine has to offer. Day trips to Rockport, Belfast, Bar Harbor for shopping, antiquing, and ,of course, lobster! Enjoy the forest and the ocean at Acadia National Park where you can hike or just soak in the sun and waves. Don't forget the pop-overs at Jordon Pond Lodge. Be sure to stop and see the views from the Penobscot Bridge tower. Weather keeping you inside...no worries. This wonderful house is full of artwork (most by the owner!) to ponder and books in every nook and corner. Every need is covered and the rooms are spectacular. We stayed in the "attic" room with stained glass windows above the bed and the whole bathroom is a shower! We ate in Bar Harbor, Lincolnville, and Camden and every meal was excellent with great service. The home is a very short walk from downtown Camden so you are just minutes from shopping and dining. We also got to enjoy a cruise on the schooner "Appledore"...a great adventure. Mary and Dave are great hosts and answered all our questions right away. We highly recommend this home for your get away, especially for adults or families with older kids.

We are within walking distance of all that Camden offers. The house is our sanctuary with three distinct living areas on three floors.

The public space on the first floor provides a large, gourmet kitchen with room for our family and friends to gather, visit, and cook. My husband has hand-painted a mural in the dining room that creates a sense of peace and calm. The transition from our cozy living room features an archway framed with 18th Chinese panels reminds us of wonderful travel in Taiwan and China.

The living room is intimate and highlighted by stained glass windows and a cozy gas fireplace surrounded by bookcases.

The second floor features a large bedroom with an adjacent shower bathroom.

The third floor is an open suite with a sitting room, bedroom, and bathroom. The best views are from this sitting room! This is completely private, set off from the rest of the house.

Our home is perfect for one or two couples, who love to travel together. There is plenty of room to cook, relax, read, and visit and...retreat.
