Enjoy time alone with your loved one at "Star Of The Sea!" Beautiful top floor corner unit with ever-changing day and night views of Yaquina Bay and Bridge.
Watch recreational vessels come and go from the marina, commercial fishing vessels going out to sea, listen to the barking sea lions, people and bird watch. All from the comfort of our condo and balcony.
We are a short walk to the Historic Bay Front with souvenir shops, locally owned premier restaurants and pubs.
Rent a Jon boat and catch crab in the bay and cook your catch in the outdoor crab cookers.Have a cocktail and enjoy your meal on the patio watching the sunset.
We are a quick drive to some of the most beautiful beaches on the coast.
Do you love fresh oyster's? The Oregon Oyster Farm is just a few miles down the road.
On arrival check out our binder full of fun things to do while you visit.
Our condo is equipped with many kitchen appliances you need to whip up a delicious homemade meal. The living area is light filled during the day and has the lights of South Beach reflecting on the water in the evening. We are your perfect home away from home.
Our friendly on-site management is available for check in, answer questions, help if a problem arises and directs you to our unit.
There is underground parking spots located near the elevator and additional outside off street parking.

The check in process was easy and the place was immaculate. Bed was too soft for me. If you are noise sensitive the sealion sounds are adorable during the day but became less so when I was trying to sleep. Overall a really nice place. Enjoyed the balcony.

Fantastic Stay

I love this condo. It’s not huge but for the price you can’t do better. The location is very convenient to the bay front and the view is lovely. Will certainly stay here any time I can.

Just spent the weekend in Newport and stayed at “Star of the Sea”—Doug and Brenda’s lovely Newport condo—and couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience! Their place is impeccably kept and delightfully decorated in a nautical theme which perfectly compliments the incredible view of the bay from their top floor balcony. (The sunset views were AMAZING!) My husband and I enjoyed cozying up with the gas fireplace on in the mornings and watching the boats going out for the days fishing. Not only is their place clean and comfortable, but we found it surprisingly well stocked. We’ve stayed at places before where we had to immediately seek out a store to pick up basic pantry items and things like dish soap just to be able to get “settled in.” It was so nice to arrive to Doug and Brenda’s after a long drive and find that the kitchen was well stocked with basic spices, tea and Keurig coffee pods, as well as all the pots and pans we could need! There was even a French press which my husband really appreciated. Doug and Brenda were also happy to share some wonderful suggestions when we reached out to them for recommendations on places to eat and explore. We really fell in love with Newport and are excited to come back again in the summertime, and after our wonderful weekend here, there’s no place we’d rather stay than here!

My husband and I raised our family in the mountains of Colorado where we owned three short term rental properties. I loved to read the guest book to see what each guest did while they visited our property and area. It was my goal that every guest had a place that was not only clean, well maintained and comfortable but also well equipped. We traveled for several years around the country in a RV and visited Newport. We fell in love with the Historic Bay Front and the rest is history!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Our condo is located in a complex, on the bay, that caters to visitors. Our unit is on the top floor, on the corner, away from the hubbub. Mostly you only hear the sound of the breeze, seagulls, sea lions and the soft vibration of the sailboat riggings in the wind. We offer a comfortable place, with a ocean vibe, that we hope makes you smile when you walk in.

We own a slip, located in the Marina below us, that is available to rent at a reasonable rate.
In the office/lobby, adjacent to us, there is a small office area equipped with a computer, free WIFI and printer.
The lobby is usually staffed from 8:00AM to8:00PM to answer questions or feel free to call me.
Security camera's throughout the complex and in the garage.
Fire alarm sprinkler system in the condo.
Jon boats/crabbing pots rentals and kayak rental tours are located practically next door.
Bus stop located in front of complex with free passes available at the front desk.
If your a fisherman Enguland Marine Supply is next door.
Like many homes we offer a Welcome book full of local information. We also have a binder that identifies and describes many of the local fishing vessels that cruise by. Grab our binoculars and check it out.
