Profitez de notre spacieuse maison de 2100 pieds carrés avec jusqu'à 10 membres de votre famille et vos amis! La maison dispose de deux espaces de vie lumineux, d'une cuisine ouverte, de 3 chambres (King, Queen et Full), de 2 salles de bain complètes et de 2 nouveaux canapés-lits. Les équipements supplémentaires incluent une cheminée, tous les nouveaux meubles, une grande table à manger et une laveuse et une sécheuse complètes. Nous proposons une télévision intelligente pour la diffusion en continu, un lecteur DVD, des films, une connexion Internet sans fil haut débit et une armoire remplie de jeux et de livres les jours rares où le soleil ne brille pas. Les deux étages de la maison sont accessibles depuis l'allée pour ceux qui ont des difficultés à monter les escaliers.

Vous et vos invités pouvez marcher à seulement 50 pas de la maison jusqu'aux rives sablonneuses du lac Michigan où la navigation de plaisance, la pêche et la natation sont disponibles. Vous ne vous ennuierez jamais avec les activités à proximité comme les dunes de l'ours endormi, les pistes cyclables, les sentiers de randonnée, les vignobles, les excursions en bateau sur la rivière Crystal et les visites des îles Manitou en été! Il y a même des circuits en couleur à l'automne ainsi que des promenades en traîneau, du ski et de la motoneige en hiver.

Enfin et surtout, notre maison a le meilleur. Emplacement. Déjà. Nous sommes juste sur la célèbre autoroute M-22 avec d'excellents restaurants et magasins à quelques pas. Nous sommes à 6 kilomètres au sud de l'historique Leland et à quelques minutes des villes voisines de Suttons Bay, Glen Arbour, Lake Leelanau, Northport, Cedar et Traverse City.

Magical location

We had such a great time staying here with our family and the grandparents! The location is magical with the beach, swing, deck, patio, and amazing views from the house. The beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed at the house, and hope to return one day!

AMAZING!

Everything about our stay was great. The house is very comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need and no issues with anything (appliances, bathrooms, fans, etc.). The location on Good Harbor Bay is perfect. Right on the water and absolutely amazing view and sunsets. Highly Recommend!

Amazing Vacation Stay

We loved staying at Tangled Up in Blue. Perfect location for our family- terrific beach front property that is near everything for an active family. It was a perfect vacation home feel, well appointed. The Patio was terrific and the views from the home was outstanding. We couldn't have found a better place to stay on our Family Vacation. It was beautiful and perfect. The whole family- including our dog LOVED it!

Amazing Family Time at Tangled Up in Blue

Gorgeous view, nice beach for swimming, walking, launching kayak, paddle board, raft. Found beautiful wish stones! Very quiet and private, yet close to Fishtown, Lake Leelenau, and challenging lake bluff hiking. Well-stocked kitchen for home cooks. Bathroom and beach towels provided, game and puzzle cabinet! Great WiFi, but no cell phone service. Dog friendly! Would love to return.

Breathtaking views from a beautiful house

Our family (6 adults and 4 children under age nine) had an incredible stay here. The location is amazing -- the private beach is beautiful, water on Lake Michigan is crystal clear, and views of Pyramid Point, Whaleback, and the Manitou Islands are magnificent. The kids loved rock hunting and found many Petoskey stones (and a few Charlevoix stones) along the beach. The house itself fit our family of 10 very comfortably. There are lovely finishes throughout: Hunter Douglas room darkening shades, AllClad pots/pans, Michigan Adirondack chairs by the fire pit, and the list goes on. Thank you, Jill, for the wonderful stay at your home! We had a great week together.

Great location

It’s a great house in a great location. The downside was it could have been cleaned better. Extra fee for pets but there was a lot of past dog’s hair. We used their vacuum and cleaned for a couple hours and it was much better. It got hot a few days and with no AC it would have been better to have working windows instead of labels telling us they were broken. That style windows fix rather easily and inexpensively as I have them at home. Only didn’t work in the kitchen, the bedroom ones all were fine for the great Lake breezes. Beds were all comfortable. We had a great time there.

Sorry you weren’t completely satisfied with your stay. I will relay your feedback to the cleaning crew. We are dog lovers and want to offer a vacation spot for other dog lovers hoping they understand it may not be possible to get every hair in the 4 hours it takes to turn the house around but we will strive to do a better job. Yes, the windows are relatively easy to fix although the parts have been difficult to get with Covid. The 2 kitchen windows are being fixed next week. I hope the beautiful sunsets made up for the minor irritations.

Beautiful views and Sandy Beach

We loved our week. The sandy beach is fantastic for swimming and walking. Views were gorgeous, including many sunsets over the Manitou islands. Close drive to Leland and Glen Arbor and many other cool towns. Jill was very communicative and helpful. We’d definitely stay again!

Great Location in Leland

This home was perfect for our family of 10. Close to all that Leland area has to offer- hiking trails, wineries, fishing, boating, beaches & of course, Sleeping Bear. Views are amazing, not only of the sunsets, but we also watched thunderstorms racing across Lake Michigan from the sunporch & the Perseid meteor shower from the deck!! Beds were awesome, plenty of space for the family both inside & out. Jill was very quick to respond to questions. Would definitely recommend!

Family Vacation 2021

What a wonderful property! It is close to multiple trails, wineries and beaches. The house has amazing views of Good Harbor Bay, has a central location and is very well equipped. A lot of thought has been put into making this a home, not just a rental. There are ceiling fans in nearly every room, the light switches are clearly marked, there are night lights so that you can maneuver the house safely at night, the kitchen is well-stocked and Jill even made sure to leave extra toothbrushes, soaps and shampoos in case anyone has forgotten anything. I can’t say enough good about it. My family of 8 adults and our dog had plenty of room to stay comfortably for the entire week. Jill was extremely quick at answering questions and very accommodating. We hope to come back someday soon!!

Fabulous Views & the Sound of the Waves - Lovely, Modern, Spacious Cottage

Great vacation spot. This cottage is more like a home with all of the amenities. We watched beautiful sunsets on the deck. The beds are comfortable. There is plenty of seating for family, indoors and out. Furniture is comfortable. Clean design with cozy wood paneling in some rooms. Large windows with fabulous view of the lake and both North & South Manitou Islands. Plenty of towels, including beach towels. Lower bedroom and bath is accessible for those who cannot climb stairs. Nightlights in every room. Easy access to Leland, Lake Leelanau, wineries and parks with woods and sandy beaches. Jill is very responsive communicating. My family and I recommend this cottage as a wonderful getaway.

Steps away from Lake Michigan

Even with the windows closed, we listened to the waves while falling asleep. The property was perfect for reading by the fire and playing games around the big kitchen table. From both places and from my bed, the views were beautiful. A simple but much appreciated touch: labels on the light switches - loved it!!! We hiked a different trail every day without driving more than 30 minutes. Local eats are favorites we crave all year. Thank you for sharing your home. We had a beautiful family getaway.

Perfect for a getaway!

My wife and I rented this property in October 2020 to get away from the city and enjoy some peace and quiet in the fall foliage of Sleeping Bear Dunes. This house was perfect: we could hear the lake from any room in the house and woke up to incredible views, and it's ~20 minutes from the park and Glen Arbor.

LDW Up North

We spent labor day weekend here with some friends and our dog. As soon as you walk in the door you have incredible views of the lake! The house was really well set up for groups and had plenty of entertaining space. The location on Lake Michigan is hard to beat- beautiful sunsets and great views. We loved the bonfire area looking over the lake and enjoyed swimming right off the shore. It only took a few steps to hit clean sandy lake bottom. The house was well appointed with everything we needed. The kitchen was large enough to cook our meals for the group and eat together at the large table. The house is right off M-22, but once your here it feels very private- you can't see the neighbors. The location is really close to Leland and Lake Leelanau, we spent time exploring town and visiting the local wineries. Would love to go back again!

Great Location and Amazing View

Perfect spot for a Leelenau Peninsula vacation. The views alone are worth every penny and the property feels like you're alone on Lake Michigan with very little visibility of other houses. Dog friendly with plenty of space and comfortable sleeping.

Wonderful family home

This house was probably the most comfortable rental we have stayed in yet! Great space for three generations. Everything was clean and comfortable — from the deluxe mattresses, to the couch on the porch, swing, fire pit, and the even the beach towels! Plus you can not find a better location on the peninsula. Jill was helpful and responsive. We can’t wait to come back!!!

Leland Lake Michigan stay

Property is a wonderful location. Steps from Lake Michigan. Jill did a great job with answering questions and support thru our stay. Overall, the house was as advertised. Biggest challenge for us was the lack of AC and a number of non-functioning windows. But we were able to work around it for an enjoyable stay. Would also suggest an exterior window / door cleaning as the number of webs / bugs that have accumulated around the doors is very large. But to be expected in a wooded area. Overall, would recommend the property to anyone looking for a quiet northern Michigan vacation

True, it is Northern Michigan and the bugs don’t always cooperate. Like most older homes in Northern Michigan, we do not have AC and can’t install a window unit with the type of windows we have but lots of fans and a nice big lake to cool off in.

I grew up in lower Michigan and did my undergrad in the Upper Peninsula. I married a Chicago native that ironically introduced me to the most beautiful part of Michigan, the Leelanau Peninsula. When are not at our home, we spend out time working hard, traveling, jetskiing, and hanging out with our sweet yellow lab.
