Loved the house and the neighborhood.

We found some nice restraunts in the neighborhood that we could walk to. House was great to accommodate our large group. The house was clean and the beds/pillows were the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The property managers are great and responsive.

Excellent Stay! Very convenient, well appointed, cute 3 bedroom with excellent showers!

We enjoyed our stay for a long weekend in Nashville. Just a bit over a mile away from downtown, it was easily walkable and conveniently located. Lots of dinner, dessert and coffee options within just a few blocks in the quaint Germantown neighborhood. Shared backyard was relaxing, with fun to play Bocce ball court. Property manager reached out shortly after checkin to ask if there was anything to do. Would stay here again!

Couples getaway

Quick getaway with 3 couples. House was plenty big enough for all of us. Very clean despite being a really old house. Loved the character of it. Neighborhood was great. Felt safe walking around. We were able to walk to 5th & Taylor for dinner. Didn’t realize from the listing that the 2nd house was in the backyard. There was another group staying there. It was freezing all weekend so no one was really outside, so the community yard wasn’t used. Street parking only but it was never an issue finding a spot. We would definitely stay here again

Amazing Property!

We absolutely adored this property. It was such a cute place to stay with a few friends. The location was prime and right by the downtown area, but still quiet. The yard and bocce ball court were perfect for everyone to relax and get sun. The decor was beautiful and the place was extremely clean. Comfortable bedding. We will definitely be staying there again if it is available during our next trip to Nashville! Thank you for having us!

Stay in the heart of Germantown

Love the location of this property. A quiet street in a totally walkable neighborhood. We spent a lot of time sitting on the front porch. Would appreciate more seating options on the front porch. Bedrooms are spacious.

À propos de l’hôte

Hôte : Payton O'Reilly

Image de profil de l’hôte
We have been in the hospitality industry for over a decade and have owned & operated a hotel in the nation of Panama, run 8 luxury food & beverage brands, and currently develop, own & operate several luxury rental properties across the US. This house has been a passion project for our family.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Our house was fully renovated in the winter of 2018 and completed in April 2019. We chose this location because of its charming vibes, rich history (dating back to its 1850s establishment by European Immigrants), architectural treasures, and thoughtfully designed urban mixed-use development. We hope you will quickly see why Germantown is considered one of Nashville’s most vibrant neighborhoods.

We also love the neighborhood’s proximity to downtown Nashville, yet find it filled with authenticity and energy of its own. We believe Germantown is one of Nashville’s most walkable neighborhoods and we have filled countless days with our family and friends here enjoying great food, activity, and fresh air.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

From the moment that you approach the front walkway and walk to the porch of this gem of a blue house, we want to transport our guests to the new age of Nashville, and this home represents the merging of Nashville's rich history and modernity of the new Nashville.

As you step into the house, enjoy the lush, velvety fabrics in the parlor, where you can sit down to a game of chess or enjoy the retro turntable music of any of your favorite artists. Each bedroom has been designed with your utmost comfort in mind, and the fully-equipped kitchen should certainly satisfy any cooking urges.

You can choose to relax in the living room, where you can watch TV or put your feet up after a day of Nashville walking, or walk through the kitchen to the shared back patio.

As of April 2021, our house (Unit A) shares its lot with a brand new attached-houses/duplex (Unit B and Unit C). The outdoor space has become a communal courtyard featuring a seating area around a gas grill and a bocce ball court. We are excited for you to experience this mini oasis!

Germantown is known for being incredibly walkable, with most people traveling by foot to explore the neighborhood. That said, many locals and guests alike also enjoy using the electric rental scooters located throughout the Germantown District.
