Casa Riviera II - Magnifique condo 1 chambre sur la plage, pour 6 personnes

Emplacement fantastique près de la plage avec vue sur le golfe et deux piscines. Situé juste à côté de la digue de Galveston, offrant un accès facile à la plage et au quai de pêche à proximité. Ce condo est à seulement quatre miles du Strand, et à environ trois miles d'attractions favorables à la famille, comme Moody Gardens et la jetée de plaisance historique. Quelles que soient les activités que vous préférez, vous les trouverez ici!
Ce condo compact tire le meilleur parti de son espace; à l'intérieur de cette maison avec une chambre et une salle de bains, il y a de la place pour six personnes (quatre adultes maximum, s'il vous plaît). Les chambres à coucher comprennent un lit queen dans la chambre et un canapé-lit dans le salon. De plus, il y a un lit superposé jumeau de la taille d'un enfant dans un coin du couloir. La cuisine est équipée de tous les appareils de base dont vous avez besoin pour cuisiner les repas de votre famille, mais si vous n'êtes pas d'humeur sensuelle, vous trouverez de nombreux restaurants à proximité pour les familles.

Cute beachfront condo!

We had a great experience staying at this place! It had a beachfront view like we wanted and it was walking distance to the beach and other amenities (restaurants, walmart, pharmacy). The unit was clean and had what we needed (towels, beach towels, toiletries, small kitchen). The walls are a little thin but we had a baby and was able to manage. Oh, property managers were nice enough to let us check in early so that was a +. So, all in all 5/5 ⭐️

Great location!

This property is located directly across the street from the beach. Not so much an issue when you're going to the beach, but when you're leaving the beach all sunburned and tired, dragging all your gear and your screaming toddler, this is BIG plus and worth every penny. The unit is outfitted with all you'll need if you decide to stay in and cook (bring a scrubber for doing dishes). If you rather eat out, there are several nearby restaurants within walking distance. The space was the perfect size for us (a mom and a teenage daughter). The description says it sleeps 6, but any more than a 2 adults and 2 or 3 kids would be pushing the envelope.

Annual mother/daughter trip

Every year my daughter and I stay in Galveston over labor day for a bonding weekend- we have stayed at this property several times and absolutely love it! The owners are fantastic, the condo is super clean and the location is fantastic! We will be booking again for next year!

Small but convenient

The photos made the place look bigger then it was. However it still served it’s purpose. We had 3 adults and 2 kids and we were comfortable when it came to sleeping arrangements. The living area was a little tight for all of us but we made it work. The location can’t be beat. It’s right across the street from the beach and it was a 5 minute walk from door to sand. The place had two pools which we didn’t use because it was small and way too crowded. We spent most of the time at the beach. To give you an idea of location, it’s about a 5 minute drive to the Walmart and a 10 minute drive to the “fun” pier with all the rides. The owner of the house cleaning service stopped by the next day after we checked in to dropped off New towels for us because there was a minor issue with towels and sheets which was very attentive on her part. The wifi at the location was the best we ever experienced at any rental (over 25 MBPS). Overall I would recommend the place.

Would definitely recommend for a short stay. 5 stars for what we needed. If my kids were older than 8 & 10, the tiny area with toddler-sized bunkbeds would have been an issue. Other than that, perfect place for a 3 day stay for a family of 4.

Vacation stay in Galveston TX

The condo was very clean. However, sleeping on the sofa bed and bedroom bed where far from comfortable. Those mattresses should be replaced. Sitting on the couch and the black chair was awful and far from comfortable as well. The area rug was not taped down which I tripped over a few times. The view and set up on the patio was comfortable. The view was exceptional. The bathroom was to small, the toilet to small and way to low to the ground and the shower/ tub combo was dangerously small. There should have been a warning that stated the bathroom was not made for a LARGE person. I feel I was WAY over charged for my stay considering the sleeping and sitting accommodations where far from adequate.

Unexpected surprise with a great view.

We didn't really know what to expect but were instantly pleased. The pictures don't do it justice. This cute, cozy condo became our little home for 4 days and nights. My friend wished that there was a Bluetooth speaker and I thought a salt and pepper shaker would be nice but other than that, we were so happy and had everything we needed.. Quick process to get parking permit, ample parking, easy access to everything, the pool was great and the staff was helpful with questions. We had one issue with the lock on the door but Alice came out and it was taken care of quickly . It did not interfere with our trip and she gave us a good rate on an additional night. We will definitely stay again. Great location, great view and great experience.

Love it!

This was our second stay at Casa Del Mar and it didn’t disappoint. My teen daughter along with her best friend and I stayed the weekend for my daughter’s birthday. We loved it! The condo was clean and we had everything we needed. The couch bed was uncomfortable but it’s a couch bed so one can’t expect much. Casa Del Mar is right on the Seawall and very convenient to everything. The pools on property are beautiful, everything is well maintained.

Needs work

We ran out of toilet paper, only 2 small rolls on the room for 3 nights and 5 people. Also not enough towels. There was what looked like a blood stain on the fold out couch mattress, old flat pillows, and dusty areas in the bedroom. The trash bins in the hallways were smelly. The furniture was worn out and the chair was broken. The best thing was the location. We made it work but it was less than what we expected.

Was not clean upon arrival, however communication easy and quick. Staff of the property was very kind and knowledgeable about the area. The size of the unit was much smaller than advertised and there was not many pots and pans available for use. Sheets were dirty and there were dead bugs in the cabinets, however, all amenities were accurate within the ad. Sufficient parking was available and the unit itself was decent.
