New Lakeside Guesthouse, lac principal, Ă  quelques pas de l'eau

Maison d'hÎtes au bord du lac, presque terminée. Ajoutera une entrée (escalier temporaire), un aménagement paysager et une allée pavée, une cheminée et une télévision. Le prix reflÚte le fait qu'il est incomplet. Presque tout est neuf dans la maison, décoré avec goût. La chambre principale a un lit queen et une vue sur le lac principal. La chambre avec lits superposés a un lit double. Le canapé s'ouvre sur un lit queen-size. Utilisation du hangar à bateaux et du bar Nauti. Espace de quai pour bateau. Anse du lac principal, vues magnifiques et couchers de soleil saisonniers.

It was the perfect (winter) weekend getaway for my husband and I. The house was lovely, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the beauty of the lake. The host was friendly and accommodating.

Everything about our stay was perfect and I can't thank Laura and Butch enough. The guest house was so clean and perfectly decorated and the view of the lake was gorgeous. Our hosts were immediately responsive to questions we had. Would return happily and cannot recommend the place enough!

Two very relaxing weeks

My husband and I enjoyed two vert relaxing weeks at the guest house. Even though we had record heat for one of the weeks, we still got up early and fished off the boat dock and caught fish each day and even enjoyed some canoeing. Our host were wonderful, even offering there fridge and two long extension cords from their home to the guest house so we could charge our devises due to power outage from a strong storm that blew through.We will be definitely be back next year!

So peaceful and beautiful here

This is our third stay here. We love this beautiful place with amazing sunrises and sunsets. Such an amazing host that is so accommodating and understanding.

Wonderful escape!

There's a reason this property and these hosts are exceptional - so many details are provided to make this a very special place to find some peace and quiet. We took a short break to be near the water and enjoy the sun and everything in the guest house was made to welcome us and make our stay exactly what we were looking for.

A Little Slice of Heaven

My husband an I normally get away to the mountains for our Anniversary..... We struck gold finding this gem on the lake only a little over an hour from our home. Less travel time meant more rest and relaxation! We will be back!!!!

Perfect getaway

My wife and I needed a serene getaway and Laura and Butch’s guesthouse was just that. The views from the big windows were incredible. The weather was perfect for us. Our hosts were wonderful. We laid back and cooked and did puzzles and sat by the water. I couldn’t have asked for anything more
.except maybe a few more days. We will be back!

Perhaps the most well appointed property we have ever stayed in. Perfect size and feet from the water and dock. Short trip to the local ramp to drop the boat. Many thanks to Laura and Butch for the flexibility with parking the trailer (and the extra rope!).

Slice of Heaven

Everything about this place is gorgeous!! The house is so cute. It has everything you could need for your stay and the views are spectacular. The path to the dock is literally in your backyard. The lake is so serene, great for any activities you want to do. Laura and Butch are so kind and friendly. It was so great to meet Them! We can’t wait to go back!!

Another wonderful stay.

We enjoyed this vacation home first back in June. We liked it so much that we returned with our almost 6 year old grandson. We had so much fun with fishing, swimming, and S’mores! We also enjoyed seeing the elk on the way in and out. Laura and Butch are awesome hosts and made our grandson feel welcomed and special. We had another wonderful experience!

We have lived at Lake Gaston for nearly 5 years now, having lived in Richmond, while raising our kids. Once they had their wings, we had our wings and fulfilled our dream of living at this beautiful lake. Laura grew up on a lake in the Adirondacks and couldn't wait to get back to lake life. We love boating, skiing, floating on the lake with a cocktail in hand, going out to dinner by boat and sailing on our sunfish when there's a nice breeze.
Prior to being a guesthouse, it was an over-sized two-car garage. Because we have 6 children who are now beginning to marry and start families, and lack of room for all at the main house, we decided to change the garage into a guesthouse to accommodate them. Being that the garage was lakefront with better views than the main house, it was an easy decision. When the kids and now grandkids, aren't here, we make it available to you.

Beautiful water views in every direction. Located on wide main lake cove. See the main lake but sheltered from boats and their waves. Long, narrow beach, 14 feet of water at end of the boathouse. Ladder up to top dock to jump off! Kayaks and a canoe for guest use as well as water loungers. Fire tables on private patio and at the dock in front of the large swing. Wood burning stone fireplace just added Sept 2021 on your patio. Sun and shade areas on dock. Be a bartender at the NautiBar! Rent a boat and keep it at the dock. Boat rental and fishing tour information available. Guesthouse manual with lists of things to do as well as restaurants in the area.

For couples staying a week or more, included is a one hour ride tour our 24 foot pontoon boat at a mutually agreeable time.
