Because our home is located in a very peaceful setting, we’ve committed to our neighbors to keep outdoor noise to a minimum so that we can continue sharing this beautiful property with future guests. It's true that our listing is typically geared toward family groups, and we have noise policies in place to ensure a peaceful experience for our guests and neighbors. Wow, I'm so surprised with this review because I had several encounters with this group during their stay, and each time they raved about how perfect the home was and what a great time they were having. I asked several times if they needed anything at all and they never mentioned any dissatisfaction. They were actually a delight to host. As an owner, I appreciate the opportunity to make things right if there is an issue. So I will address the things brought up: 1. Towels in the dryer. We would not leave towels in the dryer, yet there were in fact 4 towels in one of the dryers. The guests called me the day before move in and asked to move in early. I told them this was not possible on short notice because I would need more time to hire more housekeepers. They begged and explained a special surprise was needed to set up for the guest of honor. I told them I would do everything I could to get the home ready early but I could not guarantee. The cleaners were in fact able to turn it over 3 hours earlier than planned. The guests arrived and "pushed" the cleaners out and told them the house looked "perfect." The cleaners informed the guests that there were still towels in the dryer that they were waiting on, but they guests told them not to worry about it. It was evident that the early move in was more important. "No good deed goes unpunished." haha. If there was dust on the ceiling fans, they certainly would have taken care of it. 2. The pool worked, I have no idea why he wrote that. When I came at 4:00 to do the walk through, they had all the fountains, jacuzzi and slide going. Of course this wouldn't have been turned on when they arrived. Maybe that's what he meant. 3. We have never advertised a tennis court. We have a sports court that is about 2/3 size of a tennis court. You can play volleyball, basketball, short tennis, badmitton etc. I don't know why they expected a tennis court. Again, they guests moved in 3 hours early and told the cleaners to leave at 1:00 and said that the home looked great. They never informed me of anything dissatisfactory, thus not giving me the opportunity to make things right for them. In contrast, the man who I assumed was in charge of the event told me that the home had exceeded their expectations and they had a memorable anniversary celebration. He thanked me for sharing our home. Again, I'm just a bit surprised as it is my goal to make every guest experience exceptional.
