Cabine classique Twain Harte. Beaucoup de pin noueux dans cette maison immaculĂ©e. 2 pĂątĂ©s de maisons du centre-ville de Twain Harte, donc c'est juste une courte promenade. ADHÉSION ACTIVE LAKE alors amenez la famille et les amis et profitez du lac Twain Harte surtout pendant l'Ă©tĂ©. Beaucoup de place Ă  l'intĂ©rieur des chambres de cette cabine de 3 chambres et 2 1/2 salles de bain. Une des salles de bain a une lucarne sous la douche! La cour est clĂŽturĂ©e pour les petits enfants. Parking pour 2-3 voitures. Cuisine et salle Ă  manger ouvertes. 40 minutes en voiture de Dodge Ridge et du lac Pinecrest ou en haut de la colline de Kennedy Meadows pour la randonnĂ©e et la pĂȘche. Deux heures Ă  Yosemite pour une excursion d'une journĂ©e de 20 minutes Ă  Sonora pour des films et des achats amusants.
Venez visiter l'antre de Pissenlit, une cabane de plain-pied, avec des pins et des chĂȘnes filtrant la lumiĂšre! Les chambres ont une reine dans le maĂźtre, un lit superposĂ© avec un plein en bas et un matelas double sur le dessus, et une 3Ăšme chambre avec un grand lit et des lits jumeaux!

Overall, 10/10. I'd almost say a 9 but i think some things were just overlooked that normally wouldnt be an issue. When you walk in the front door, the cord to the chandelier had been frayed. The drop box is also super hard to get in to. So no real problems, just minor inconveniences. This is our second visit to Dandelions Lair and we recommend it and will definitely be back!!!

Love this spacious cabin! I only rated a 4 for cleanliness because of the caulking in ceiling crevices. (I worked for construction so I see stuff like that)Other than that this cabin was everything you needed. Water pressure in MBR bath needs to be addressed also. We walked to downtown Twain Harte and every one is so nice along the way and in the shops. I will definately reserve the Dandilion Lair again!

This was the wonderfully quiet place to stay, yet close to downtown as we walked to Dinner & Events a couple times a day. A very eclectic cabin layout.

Location was just as described. As we looked around, the same word came to all of us, rustic. That's a good thing too! Very clean and a bit funky too, and that's a good thing! You can tell where they built additions to the house and the added rooms made for a comfortable stay for the 5 of us. We were there in the early summer and spent very comfortable evenings on the deck. We'd return in a heartbeat. Great value if you need a place in Twain Harte!

Charming Stay

Lovely area, super close to Twain Harte center that we could easily walk to. Also close to trails, and only 15' from major grocery/retail chains which was very convenient.The house is charming, and the living room area was cozy and had a nice mountain vibe. AC worked great, kitchen had everything needed to prepare quality meals, and the front deck and fenced in yard were a Godsend for hosting the puppied.Even when I had a request to add another streaning platform to the tv, the host was readily available by phone and helped me out remotely.A wonderful, charming place... and having access to Twain Harte lake was the cherry on top!

I liked how convenient it was to Twaine Hart. The cabin is super spacious and great for large families. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. On the downside, the Christmas decorations were still up (in June), the front yard was overgrown with weeds, and the interior could use a touch up.

Very big quaint cottage

We all had our own bedrooms, very comfortable beds. Skylight in the shower! So rustic and very quiet. Great fenced in front yard for the dog with porch. She laid out there for hours. We will be back.

Nice property, great value

We had a lovely time. Everyone is so friendly in Twain Harte, but groceries are expensive. The cabin is a bit dated and run down in some areas but is all functional. Bring your own coffee. Wood was provided but more kindling would have been nice. The house is cozy. The beds are soft but we are spoiled so the queen size was small. The house and neighborhood are quiet and relaxing. Even with lights on I found the house rather dark, which I enjoyed, but I was glad flashlights were provided and I brought my headlamp for making fires and such.We appreciated the four sleds. We had intended to go-to Leland snowplay but it was so crowded we found a slope and made our own sled routes. Kept the day costs lower and the kids loved the powder.I found this a great deal. The host was responsive but did not overly communicate.

Great birthday getaway!!

Besides a few things, handle on the dresser fell off, had an awful time trying to light the pilot light on the water heater lol, it was an incredible trip. We loved the age and uniqueness of the cabin. The fact that we got to bring our pups made it feel like a home away from home. We definitely recommend and will be back!!

New Year’s in Twain Harte

We were a party of 6 and brought our dog on vacation with us for the first time. This property was perfect for a family with a dog. The owners left a binder with instructions for how to find things and for checking out. There were helpful labels to easily find extra bed linens, towels, water heater temp, etc. The kitchen was well-stocked for meal prep. Great for families with pets looking for a budget-friendly place in a beautiful setting!

Family Time

Pictures did not adequately represent what we got. With a good clean, decluttering and minor repairs it could be a great place to stay! Host had obviously not prepared for our arrival, but was quick to respond.

House needs some TLC and better cleaning

The price is reasonable, and there is central ac. The location is good, and the laundry is great. But the house is showing its wear in places. Every step sounds like a herd of animals as many floorboards creak loudly at every step. The house was caked in dust, and none of the linens were set on any of the beds, which was an annoying inconvenience. That said, the Manager brought back the cleaners and replaced the ac filter upon our loud complaints. I found the AC system filter the recycling bin and it was covered in 3 inches of "fur." I bring that up because it is sympotamic of the house not being well-maintained. A few burnt out lightbulbs added to that sense, along with a fence about to fall over, cracks in the outside, and a soft stair in the entrance. Even the very basic coffee maker has no auto shutoff. Instead it the Manager seems to rely on Guests to make sure that they don't cause a fire versus replacing a $20 coffee maker. Still, there were positives, and the rental was on the more economical side. Some beds were better than others. Our kids enjoyed the house, and we appreciated the games and books.

Typical TH cabin

Pre-visit chat with owner answered questions and was very helpful. Location is great, lake access important for summer fun, and lots of room to spread out. 3adults and 2 small children on this trip but cabin could accommodate a few more. 4 star cleanliness due to decks that needed sweeping and floors that might have been mopped better. But over all, a responsive host and fun cabin for vacation. Would stay again.

Nestled in the Woods

This is a nice little place, a bit quirky floor plan. For the most part it was clean. There were plenty of dishes but only three glasses. The instructions in the cabin did not show where or how to get to the lake. The deadbolt on the door is a little tricky with the key. The beds were comfortable and the showers were nice. Overall, it was comfortable and a nice place to stay.

Our stay

While we appreciated being able to bring our dogs to this rental, the cabin was not very clean. Also, the beds had not been made. In addition, the previous renter filled the garbage can to the top and there wasn't room for us to put our garbage in (we brought it home with us). So instead of having a happy family memory of our weekend in Twain Harte, we will remember that this cabin totally missed its mark for being clean, comfortable and relaxing.

Convenient, well stocked cabin.

Cabin was well stocked and clean. The air conditioning in the house was a huge plus during the hot weather we had. We will definitely come back again next year!

Twain Harte cabin!

Loved the cabin and definitely well stocked. The cleanliness needed to be improved. Floors were not clean, Propane problem unable to use BBQ
. That was disappointing and property management was no help. Loved the use of private lake, huge plus with small children. Door bolt lock was difficult to unlock, need to play and jiggle key.

Great getaway place for families

Loved this quaint cabin with lake access. It was larger than expected with plenty of room for our family of 5 and loaded with lots of games, books and movies for entertainment. The kitchen was well equipped and the cozy dining area with large table was perfect for family meals. It was a 20min walk to the private lake through scenic woods and beautiful cabins, and a 10 min walk downtown. Our kids did not want to leave. Would highly recommend this place.

Vintage cabin

The layout of the cabin worked well for us, with each room having a bathroom nearby. The location of the cabin is very close to town and to the lake. Although there was occasional road noise, it was mainly quiet. We didn't feel the cabin floor had been cleaned, our bare feet became very dirty after a short time walking around the kitchen/dining area. As others have mentioned, the cabin feels cluttered, but the upside is you can find just about anything you need. The keurig was not working for us, and there was an issue with the freezer door not staying closed and thus beeping unless held with tape. It seemed like something the manager was not aware of when I mentioned it to him. The beds were comfortable, as was the furniture. The cabin is situated in a cluster of other cabins which was not a problem, but between the inside and outside, for me, it seemed that there was too much stuff everywhere. Overall, this was a good stay. If you know what to expect, this cabin can easily meet your needs and you can have a great time visiting town & the lake.

Created through construction of a dam in 1928, this private, membership lake provides 40 acres of unlimited fun and enjoyment. Many family cabins, built in the early years, are still owned by descendants of the original owners bringing a remarkable sense of history to the daily life of this community.
Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, the Lake is enjoyed by lake members, their families and guests, along with those who rent the cabins owned by Lake Members. Whether you are a member, a guest, or a renter, you will be captivated by the crystal clear lake, and starry night skies, and all that the community of Twain Harte has to offer.
Twain Harte Lake Hours:
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND THROUGH LABOR DAY WEEKEND:
MONDAY-SUNDAY: 9:00 AM TO 8:00 PM
Renters of properties with Lake Membership are able to access the lake during the Summer Season by paying a day use fee. All renters must be registered with the gatehouse before their arrival by the owner or rental agency and all guests and renters should read through the Renter Information document before their arrival. Please inquire with the THLA office for further information.
