Ponderosa Paradise is nothing short of an amazing place to be. From the moment you arrive, you'll feel how special this property really is. Great for the whole family, or for friends alike seeking to get away from city.

From the Arcade Room to the wraparound deck and smart TV's, our place has everything you need to have an amazing time. With just steps to downtown, means you can hear the live bands on the weekends and our little town has some ROCKING bands!

The Space:

This listing includes exlusive access to top floor of the Ponderosa Paradise cabin, wraparound deck and the sepparate game room cabin located just steps away from the main house.

This cabin is a duplex and the downstairs studio is rented out sepparately on VRBO. If you'd like to have an additional bedroom and bathroom with your reservation, please let me know as we'd be happy to accomodate. We can provide discounting by grouping both listings together.

We’ve upgraded the arcade machine to a cocktail table arcade machine which will be much more easy to use and reliable. It has a total of 412 games installed!

The home does not have central air, however we have installed a total of 3 portable AC units, one in the living room, and one in each of the bedrooms in the main house. The game room cabin is not air conditioned.

Guest Access:
We have keyless entry and you will be provided with your own unique code upon reservation. We have 4 parking spaces located on the property. Please only use two parking space, as the other two are reserved for the bottom unit.

The host was helpful and the place was perfect for our family. We had a great time and we were able to walk everywhere. Everyone enjoyed the game room and movies by the fire at night was perfect. Thank you so much.

Great stay in the heart of Twain Harte

The property was great! Walking distance to town with young kids. Great deck and game room with good views of the forest. I'd stay here again over other places we have stayed in Twain Harte. Owner was very accommodating.

Family Christmas Trip

What can I say? My family and I had a great time staying at this cabin. It was my husband and I and our three teenagers. As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed with Christmas lights and a small mini Christmas tree. The cabin has been newly renovated and I loved the decor. There are new appliances and the beds are comfy. We enjoyed our time sitting by the fire, playing games and opening up our presents. Couple of things to keep in mind. Get there before dark. It’s a bit dark walking up the path. There are some outdoor lights but for me and my eyes, I would have preferred more. The game room was a huge hit with the teenagers! The cabin is within walking distance of downtown. We went for a couple of walks during our stay, and stopped off at a local bar/restaurant to watch the 49er game. Very satisfied with our stay, and would most definitely return!

Last minute getaway to mountains

We are familiar with Twain Harte. This rental checks all the boxes. Clean, great deals and game spot 
 ping pong, arcades and more! It’s well situated to town walk to coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Mini golf and boba too. Owners were very responsive. Perfect for our family of three.

Escape to the Pines.

Nice property and location. Close enough to amenities but still in the pines. Hwy 108 takes you East to stunning locations for hiking etc. Would stay here again on our next excursion!
