Commencez votre voyage en marchant sur le pont inférieur et en profitant d'une vue imprenable sur les montagnes et le mont. Le Conte dans le parc national du Great Smokey Mountain. Vous pouvez faire signe aux gens sur le tram silencieux qui passe. Au printemps, en automne, en hiver ou après une pluie, vous pouvez entendre Holy Branch Creek se promener à travers les montagnes. Excellent stay. The cabin is exceptionally well taken care of, and the communication from Kate was top-tier—her explicit instructions made everything from parking to checkout completely seamless. The layout worked perfectly for our group; the game room is a standout feature, while the 4K TVs and high-quality amenities throughout the house were a nice touch. The location is hard to beat—you're just 5 minutes from the National Park entrance and downtown, yet it remains quiet and scenic. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean, stress-free retreat.

We can't say enough good thing about this beautiful cabin. It is very clean and full of amenities. The mountain view is spectacular. The jukebox is a nice little surprise. We all love listening nostalgic songs while having fun in the game room. We want to come back in the future.

Very relaxing stay

Our stay was absolutely fabulous! The cabin was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which we appreciated from the moment we arrived. The mountain views are breathtaking—watching the ski tram go by from the deck was a daily highlight, and we were even lucky enough to spot bears in the backyard multiple times! The game room was the center of our evening fun; the jukebox was a delightful surprise that added a great vibe to our pool and arcade tournaments. You really can’t beat the location. It’s a very quick drive into the heart of Gatlinburg and the national park trails, yet it feels peaceful and private. Kate was a fantastic host—very communicative and helpful. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Overall our stay was great. The host communicated very effectively. I only have a few small complaints. The beds are horrible. They are not comfortable in the least so bring a very thick mattress topper with you. The house is 3 stories and to get to the main level you have to walk up a good amount of stairs. This was challenging for my older parents. Other than that it was beautiful and quiet.

We provide high-quality, medium-firm mattresses—which are generally the industry standard for hospitality—and in our seven years of hosting, this is the first time we've heard they were uncomfortable. However, we know that mattress feel is very subjective! As for the layout, you’re right—the three-story design does involve stairs to reach the main living areas, which provides those great views but can be a workout! We try to make this clear in our listing description so guests with mobility concerns can plan accordingly. We appreciate you staying with us!"

I could not recommend staying here more if you are coming to the mountains! The cabin is beautiful, cozy, clean and even more beautiful than in the pictures. We enjoyed our stay and playing games in the upstairs loft - perfect for all ages! We can't wait to plan our trip back!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Papa Bear’s Den! The cabin itself was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly cozy, with a breathtaking view that we never got tired of. One of the highlights of our trip was seeing so many bears—it made the experience truly unforgettable. We absolutely loved the game room loft and the hot tub as well! The hostess was wonderful to work with—very easy to contact, responsive, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a magical Gatlinburg getaway.

Beautiful cabin

I booked this cabin for 2 nights and when arrived I immediately realized I had made a mistake. I should have booked for a longer stay!!! This place was absolutely gorgeous and very clean and well kept. We had light snow throughout our stay and it looked like a winter wonderland from the deck. I wanted to extend our stay but unfortunately it was fully booked back to back. I will be back next year!

We had such a great stay at Papa Bear’s Den! The cabin was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing mountain getaway. The views from the decks were amazing — especially with our morning coffee — and the game room and hot tub were perfect for unwinding after exploring Gatlinburg. The location felt peaceful and private but was still really close to town. We’d definitely stay here again!

I have a great interest in interior decor and travelling. Hosting a vacation rental means I can do both yay! I purchased this cabin in Sep 2019. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it, and I hope you do too. I think money may or may not bring joy; however, travel definitely makes us happier. It gives us an opportunity to step outside our well-worn, self-constructed realities and provides a platform to explore ourselves - who we might be when we are not anxious about safety, security and status. Being in the travel business make me feel like I am a life improver. I am happy when my guests are happy. That is why I am working very hard to make your experiences of the Smokies pleasant and unforgettable.

I love everything about this cabin. It is located in Chalet Village, a perfect location that is close to everything. The cabin is new, spacious, and very well-maintained. All rooms have a cabin-style log bed with a comfy mattress, and a flat screen TV with Cable TV service. The cabin has a large 2-level deck with hot tub and BBQ grill, looking out to a million dollar view of the mountains and the tram. An entire story is designated for fun activities, including pooling table, poker table, arcade, and board games. Bears are active in the neighborhood, which provides a great opportunity for our guests to watch them from the deck. Another perk is access to three nearby clubhouses with pools and tennis courts.
