Commencez votre voyage en marchant sur le pont inférieur et en profitant d'une vue imprenable sur les montagnes et le mont. Le Conte dans le parc national du Great Smokey Mountain. Vous pouvez faire signe aux gens sur le tram silencieux qui passe. Au printemps, en automne, en hiver ou après une pluie, vous pouvez entendre Holy Branch Creek se promener à travers les montagnes. Bears!

If you want to sip your morning coffee while literal bears stroll past your deck, book this place now. Papa Bear’s Den is the ultimate mountain hideout. The cabin is immaculately clean, the beds actually let you sleep, and the arcade and billiards room kept everyone thoroughly distracted. The cabin is mere minutes from the main attractions but feels off the grid. A highly functional, well-stocked cabin with a very responsive host. Totally worth a little bit of climb.

Very beautiful cabin and very professional host. Perfectly set up for young families. My kids love the game room. My wife loves the main bathroom and now she wants to remodel ours at home lol. Us guys love hanging out on the deck. We would book again in a heart beat.

Impressive

This cabin impressed us with unique amenities! Having access to the local clubhouse pools and tennis courts was a massive perk. Back at the house, we loved the fast WiFi, smart TVs, and the peace of mind from the whole-house power generator. Truly a stress-free retreat!

Beautiful cabin, with great views. The game room was a hit for our 3 boys. We saw bears lots of bears! The host was extremely responsive and had things delivered promptly that weren’t in stock at the cabin. Would definitely rent again.

Amazing

Our stay at Papa Bear’s Den was absolutely fantastic. The cabin perfectly balances seclusion with convenience—it feels tucked away in nature with gorgeous mountain views, yet it’s just a few minutes from town and the national park. The absolute highlight of the trip was the massive deck, which provided a safe, amazing vantage point for watching mama bears and cubs wander through the yard. It is a true once-in-a-lifetime experience. Inside, the cabin is beautifully decorated, sparkling clean, and packed with amenities. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the game room (complete with a full-size pool table and arcade games) was a huge hit. Ending the day in the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind. The host was also incredibly communicative and responsive throughout our stay. Overall, this is an amazing, well-kept cabin and we would 100% book this place again!

The rooms were immaculate, which was good for our family to settle in when we arrived. The kitchen was used quite a bit, given the kids’ preferences, and we were able to cook for 2-3 meals per day without an issue. We didn’t use the hot tub, but we ended up viewing quite a bit from the balcony, which provided a spectacular view of Gatlinburg. We were big fans of the quick access to the national park, which was the main reason we chose this location: 9 minutes to the Sugarlands Visitor Center, and 30-50 minutes to most of the main hiking trails. Host was very responsive. When we had a power outage from a storm, we only lost power for about 30 seconds before the backup generator kicked on, and everything was restored while the power company worked on things.

This cabin is beautiful and met every expectation I had. It has everything you will need for your stay there. The cabin is in great condition and we didn't have any issues at all. We had 3 generations under one roof and everyone loved it. The game room upstairs is amazing and we played everything. I was hoping to see bears and we saw them every morning so keep your doors locked. You also have a view of the tram to Ober Gatlinburg as it goes by, My kids had never stayed in a cabin on the morning and they fell in love with staying there. We will be back!

I fell in love with it the moment I saw it, and I hope you do too. I think money may or may not bring joy; however, travel definitely makes us happier. It gives us an opportunity to step outside our well-worn, self-constructed realities and provides a platform to explore ourselves - who we might be when we are not anxious about safety, security and status. Being in the travel business make me feel like I am a life improver. I am happy when my guests are happy. That is why I am working very hard to make your experiences of the Smokies pleasant and unforgettable.

I love everything about this cabin. It is located in Chalet Village, a perfect location that is close to everything. The cabin is new, spacious, and very well-maintained. All rooms have a cabin-style log bed with a comfy mattress, and a flat screen TV with Cable TV service. The cabin has a large 2-level deck with hot tub and BBQ grill, looking out to a million dollar view of the mountains and the tram. An entire story is designated for fun activities, including pooling table, poker table, arcade, and board games. Bears are active in the neighborhood, which provides a great opportunity for our guests to watch them from the deck. Another perk is access to three nearby clubhouses with pools and tennis courts.
